GhostRaptor will however be helping me through my transition and will be telling me everything about you all.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Oh dear.
  2. I actually look forward to the bigger gaps in the 30s where we get more slots, it gives me the chance to get the powers I have working the way I want them. Even more so now with IO sets.
  3. I shall be there. That way Mereman won't be the only one so old that whatever dance he starts out doing, it will end up as the 'Dad's Dance'
  4. Been staying out of the other threads, but now I'd just like to join everyone in thanking you for finally getting something official out of them, and wishing you all the best for the future GR.

    Nemesis' Funeral

So may bad puns, but I'm still feline fine.

    Nemesis' Funeral

I realise I could never hold a candle to some of the efforts in this thread, and that the horse pun thing has had it's moment, but I thought I'd make one anyway. Just because I fetlock it.

What kind of person needs to be told to eat their meat?!

Veges yes, but meat is so darn good.... Mmmmm Minted Lamb.

[/ QUOTE ]If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?!

    [/ QUOTE ]

You, yes you behind the bike sheds... Stand still laddie!

    [/ QUOTE ]

At the risk of being branded elitist...

Quite obviously you do need an education, or you wouldn't be using a double negative

Instant Healing seems to recharge to long also, and as the name implies doesnt infact instantly heal like reconstruction, 2 mins recharge with hasten and a couple of recharge IO's seems too long. Should make it a toggle with alot of end use per sec, and rename in my opinion.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's what Instant Healing used to be. Can't remember exctly when it changed, but it was back during the 'oh noes, they nerfed my Regen again' days.

    ^_^

Also if my heroes started saying words like "oh pooey" and "holy frick! we'r in deep doo-doo now!!!" then it just well makes him look less powerfull

    [/ QUOTE ]

Try telling that to Captain Marvel!

provided that the participants are there to play in the right spirit

    [/ QUOTE ]

    This.

One of the main things that first attracted me to CoH was the fact that it had no PvP. But I still managed to have huge amounts of fun at FNFC.
  11. Warshades. I just can't get into them. Never managed to get one past about lvl 6 before deleting for a new alt.

Who's Paragons version of Torchwood then?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    M.A.G.I.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I really don't think that's a fair comparison.

Torchwood are actually better at holding on to dangerous artifacts

i guess you never worked in a factory where it mainly men then... if you don't swear there, you are not heared..... it took me a year to stop swearing when i left there

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, when I was in that situation, I found it was the few women that swore the most.

Personally, I rarely swear myself, but I don't care when other people do (and have my filter turned off). It's just words, it's possible to insult people far worse in the politest language possible.
  14. My router, she went kablooey on Friday when I was at work. And as I have just got back on line, I managed to do absolutely nothing.

Luckily, I'd already told my SG I was going to be working on a Villain the whole weekend and they wouldn't see me, so I wasn't missed
  15. [ QUOTE ]
Also I've never really seen the point as Hero 1's sacrifice is only relevant to the heroes of paragon (and maybe the rest of the US and the UK) why would say russian or Chinese heroes stop wearing a cape?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I don't know, maybe because the Omega Team stopped the Rikti from conquering the entire world?

For myself, I have a grand total of one alt that wears a cape, and that's one of the vet reward ones, so I really don't care when people get to wear them. But they are such a huge part of the superhero lore that it did seem a bit silly you had to wait to get one.
  16. In the past couple of weeks I have been ambushed by Rikti inside a train station and Nemesis inside Wentworths. The mobs finally realising they can avoid the drones if they go round the back was surprise enough for me!
  17. [ QUOTE ]
I love loads of these but I have to
be honest Joe90 is my favorite

    Joe90

    [/ QUOTE ]

As a wearer of glasses from an early age, Joe 90 was my hero!

    taboo

I say we take off and nuke Khorak from orbit.

It's the only way to be sure.
  19. Perhaps a little specialist for Dual Blades, but you can't beat The Flashing Blade!

    Edit:

Ooh, they have Marine Boy on the same page! And the Water Margin!
  20. The last time I took one of these kinds of things, it told me I was a sociopath. It's a good job nobody else's opinion counts, or I might have felt upset.
  21. Kiken

    PPD on the job

You know how it is. There are still a lot of buildings that aren't properly repaired after the Rikti war. Somebody has to lean against the walls to stop them falling down
  22. Actually, if I recall, old MoG actually prevented Regen, the same way it prevented you being healed in any way. I was one of those who never took it and rarely felt the need for it.

And I was under the impression that new MoG still had the resistance and defence, without the health penalties, making it useful for alpha strikes (which is where Regen wasw always weak)
  23. I have just returned from work and an overwhelmed by the outpouring of love that has occured.

    *hugs GG*

Purely platonically. You understand that, right Khorak?

Some people even believe the fashions were better in the 80s

    [/ QUOTE ]

Big hair. Frilly shirts. Men wearing make-up plastered on with trowels. Fashion WAS better in the 80s!

Well, at least to the extent that I actually had hair to look stupid with back then
  25. Kiken

    no blinds

Whenever I get a blind invite (and I am always flagged as 'Not Looking For Team'), I know the person who sent it is lazy and arrogant and refuse it. After all, if they can't take 30 seconds to let me know they are doing 'x-level missions, in x-zone', why should I waste my time and spoil my fun, to join a team only to find out it's a boring farming one?
