Considering I just got a new compy with a flatpanel LCD monitor last week, I'll file this information away for when it happens to me, and I panic.

No, it's the bacon server. Ulli makes sure there's no cookies around, so it can't be the cookie server.

Sounds like you need to talk to Duff, the Ace of Cakes!!

I need to log in on my Villain. I think she's done with her current, bringing her down to 3 as well...
And, if I stay on the ball, I should have them all done before GR comes out, not counting any that I17 may add... -
Down to my last 3!

Quote:I'm gonna have to agree with this. I don't really like any of the Mastermind Secondary Powersets, so I'm not drooling to have it nao. However, I am interested in seeing it.Honestly, on the list of Dual Pistols, Demon Summoning, and GR in general, Demon Summoning is at the bottom of my list.
Sorry to disagree with you, but DP applies to multiple ATs while DS only applies to one, and GR applies to the entire game. You know what they say about the needs of the many...
Heck, I might end up surprised by it, like I was with Willpower, which I thought would be a LOL set, and turned out to kick my ***, or like I was with Dual Pistols, which I thought would be great on a Blaster, OK on a Corruptor, and LOL on a Defender, but turned out to kick my *** on all three Archetypes.
So, while I'm not squirming in anticipation of trying it out, I do look forward to having the chance. -

WOOOOOOOOOOO!! CONGRATULATIONS!! -
Wow. What a downer. Looks like I won't be pre-ordering GR, unless my local GameStop has the option for me to. There's no way I'm gonna buy this without the 30 Days Playtime.
With a few exceptions, from this point on, I plan to start all new characters in Praetoria. That means that even with the digital pre-order, I'll still hav to wait until July to make a DP or DS character.
Oh well. That'll make a fine Happy Birthday to me. -
Quote:Hmm... maybe I should add the PPD Logo to his chest...damn... makes me wish i was at home right now, to get some screenshots up... and Kheldarn, ur DPM... is like a purple Robo-Cop

I'm inclined to believe that the lag comes from the capes.

First is Pistols Test, DP/Energy Blaster
Next is DPM, DP/MM Blaster
And finally, Fiddeh Test, DP/Devices, who was made only to see if it was possible to get out of the Tutorial after a Level Bump (it is, BTW)

Probably because the game engine for City Of Heroes is leased from Cryptic. Technically, they still own it.

Quote:IIRC, it's actually 6. The 6th was either Tyrant's Tower, or an area that we couldn't see. Don't remember which...I vaguely recall reading that Praetoria is divided into five districts with Tyrant's Tower in the middle of them. I think that's where the number comes from.
Quote:I also recall reading that Praetoria won't have any war walls, and with no copious amounts of water to separate zones like in the Rogue Isles, there's speculation that Praetoria will be a huge super-zone of sorts, with the five districts possibly having different level-ranges for mobs. That'd make them functionally zones but still make Praetoria feel like a coherent and cohesive world and not a bunch of zones connected with loading screens.
Of course this is purely speculation so you need to take all that with a grain of salt. -
Not necessarily. If their current computer has a low end vidja card and/or monitor, it may very well have looked like nothing more than additional shadows.
On my old compy, I could see more than just shadows, but after my recent upgrade, I can see all KINDS of stuffs I couldn't see before.
OP, have you watch the footage from Hero Con? The 14:00 mark is when they start to show the fancy Ultra Mode stuff. -
IIRC, you have to defeat a minimum of 20 before the counter will show up.
You can always come back to it by doing the Intro To Ouroborus arc. The mission from Mender Tesseract (2nd one, IIRC) sends you back to Outbreak, and it's full of Contaminated. And you have to defeat at least 25 to finish the mission, so 4 runs will get the badge, though there are soooo many you shouldn't need 4 runs... -
I think a Dev or Mod stated that Training Room doesn't charge. You can't really test a new feature by charging players every time they try it out. So, no code was attached to it to actually charge you. You don't even need to have a card on file to purchase slots, respecs, MA Story slots, renames, or transfers.

You are incorrect. The Vet Rewards are based on your Account, not your characters. If you make a brand new character right now, you'll find you have access to everything for all 12 months of Vet Rewards on that new character.
As for the resepc, a.k.a. VetSpec, you can't use them via /respec. You have to talk to Jack Wolfe in Galaxy City for Heroes, or Arbiter Lupin in Nerva or Arbiter Sawyer in Port Oaks for Villains. -
Yeah, I hope to be able to put a card in some time down the road. Gonna be awhile before I might be in a position to be able to do it, though.

*sigh* It started happening again last night. Fortunatly, I finally tracked down the problem.
When I was setting things up on this new computer, I took my Architect Edition DVD for CoH, and used it to install the game. Then, I took it out, put it back in, and installed again, telling it to install to CoHTest.
That screwed things up. I finally realized it when I was looking through the registry after it started it again.
So, I uninstalled, and this time, installed Test the correct way. Hopefully, this will fix it... -
Quote:It can be watched vicariously through The Nostalgia Critic. That's how I saw it. And I'm oh so glad that's the only way I saw it...The "i was frozen today" tag is a quote from the movie Suburban Commando said by Chirstopher LLoyd. Not even sure I've ever seen the movie or understand the context.
