You find people doing regular PVE on all servers. Its just that nobody advertises/spams on broadcast. We use the global channels. Its way easier and cross-zone. -
Pair a Plant/Storm with Earth Epic, and you have a very Impressive (and Angry) Nature Spirit.
It really is Fun!

I did what I set myself to do...
Freedom to Praetorians!
I got Horror Nova from 14 to 25, and out of Praetoria.
I got Assembler Nova from 12 to 20, and out of Praetoria.
Besides that...
P-Nova has gone from 28 to 30, so now i can start on her Butterfree costume.
Sapper Nova has gone from 25 to 28 (or 30).
And I did 5 tip missions on my stalker, Panzer Sister Nova (who almost got a whole level with that). -
YAY!!!

What I WASN'T surprised by was how effective it was. I created the character with one goal in mind, and that goal she fulfills quite famously: Permanent strong AOE control. Additional aggro from multiple spawns becomes irrelevant when you have as many debuffs and controls at your disposal as this combo.
I have a 50 Earth/TA/Fire... Its very effective and scary to use. -
One of the reasons I actually love Dark Astoria is being able to spot the references on the Neighbourhoods...

I am kind of addicted to the Shadow Shard.
That makes Bases very important to me in case something goes wrong.
I also love the power to design my base.
And there is still some places easier to reach from base telepads than from using something else. DA, Eden and Crey's Folly, for an example.
Base storage is pretty usefull for me. My base is pretty big, with lots of storage bins. And there is only 3 RL members. So we pretty much divided invention bins among ourselves and named then. Its personal, and there is no need to enforce it with a system. This couldnt be done with a large group, but it works for us.
Besides... its home. -

When I am in a rush I call the server global chat and say: I am on <<ZONE NAME HERE>>... can someone drop me an O-Portal?
Normally in less time than I had to use to type that I get a team invitation and tp and the O-Portal.
When I am not in a rush I go inside my base, open the Pillar of Fire and select a mission... I do the mission and its done. A brand new o-portal.
Its not hard. -

I would settle for cosmetic enviromental effects...
A big fire power putting fire on things around the point of effect. Let it burn a while.
We could expand it for a few elements... Fire, Ice, electric, even dark could play some part...
Not every power needs to do that... only large AoE effects... -
