PvE Server w/o AE?

Is there like a dedicated server where people actually do missions instead of chilling in atlas spamming for farms?

All the servers are the same - there are no PvE or PvP servers.
To avoid farms like that, join the server global chat channel, where you'll get more variety of team types on offer.

Just wondering if theres any unoffical server dedicated to regular PvE missions?

Like how freedom is the unoffical PvP server, and virtue for RPing.

Hmm...

Actually, Freedom isnt the non-official server for farming?

You find people doing regular PVE on all servers. Its just that nobody advertises/spams on broadcast. We use the global channels. Its way easier and cross-zone.

All of them.

Ask around. Head to your server's forum down below and check out the global channels. Join a good supergroup. Hook up with a group like Repeat Offenders. And don't overlook AE - it's not "just farms" or the like. Create some of your own, check the ones listed in the MA section or peoples signatures, have fun with it.

Interesting, I'm on Virtue and it's been awhile since I heard anyone spamming for AE mishes.Last time I heard anything was when the last exploit was goin on haven't heard a peep since.

While spam looking for AE farms is rampant in Atlas Park (on Freedom, at least), I've only ever seen it there. PI has spam for non-AE farming, but outside those two things I've never seen spam for farming. Maybe I'm just lucky?

People still do AE farms? I thought that died after the exploits were nuked. Then again, Freedom has a reputation for the kind of people who don't get with the program.

Get out of Atlas, is my advice, and join a global chat or two.

I just get out of Atlas ASAP - essentially start in Galaxy or Praetoria

As other people have said if it annoys you enough just avoid Atlas (on any server) and you'll be fine.
I spend almost no time in Atlas and I can't remember the last time I saw spam for AE farms. *shrugs*

If you happen to be on Infinity, we have the "AE Anonymous" global channel, which is dedicated to all teaming opportunities excluding those that are AE related. We definitely still have AE farms and people running normal AE arcs (of which there are many good ones), but the chatter for it is pretty limited, especially outside of Atlas Park.

Then again, a lot of our chatter is via globals, period.

Justice.

...unofficially, of course.

Craft your inventions in AE!!

Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!

First off, I like your sig saying you play easy mode but you seem to dislike AE. Might as well dislike all the people conversing in Pocket D and under Atlas because they're not running teams either... but I digress.

As others have stated you can join global channels. You can leave Atlas Park at any time. Or use the 'search' function to find teams. Or even leave Freedom, that is actually the only server I've been on that has frequent requests to join farms in the Atlas Park AE.

How does going to Galaxy City solve the problem of people still spamming all the time in atlas? Just avoiding the problem isnt solving it.

So based off this thread I'm guessing the best server is probably Virtue or Infinity.

Sounds good, might finally get a good 8 person frostfire team for once.

You're not listening. You can do that on any server.

The problem isn't people in atlas spamming. The problem is you not learning to use the communication tools that are provided.

I don't think I've seen that happening in months on Guardian or Justice, the two servers I frequent most. I haven't seen it on any server, but I'm not on the others consistently enough to rule it out. I'd be surprised though.

How about you be specific and tell us what server and what times you see this problem?

The trick to finding non AE teams is to wander around in the different zones.

AFter level 5 The Hollows and Kings Row open up to you.

Join some teams or make your own. Find some like minded friends and you are off and running.

I live on Justice and rarely hear the spamming of AE Farms when I wander through Atlas.

I always feel bad for the people that stumble across our great game during the height of an AE exploit explosion. Do not lose faith though. There are great teams everywhere in the City or at least that has been my experience. Occasionally it just takes a bit of time to find them though.

Oh yeah, before I forget. There are in fact three idiot people playing as well. I think they probably vary from person to person though. Avoid them at all costs. Who they are, well that is up to you to decide. Heck. I bet to some I am one of the three idiot people. Not much I can do about that.

Oh yeah, before I forget (part 2). Welcome to the City. It is a glorious place to spend some time.

HeeHee. Just noticed you have been here since 2005. I guess I should have said I'm glad you have stayed this long and I hope you continue to enjoy yourself.

Enjoy your day please.

Bingo.

If the OP isn't willing to use the other starting zone for peace and quiet then he needs to use the communication tools we have been provided for the short time he spends in Atlas Park.

Even soloing it only takes half an hour to get to level 5 which opens up contacts in Kings Row and The Hollows, and most of that time will be spent inside missions where he can't receive Broadcast messages.

On the rare occasions when he finds himself in AP during when there are more players online that enjoy AE missions he can use the /ignore feature and even the /ignore spammer feature for the few people that are truly spamming messages.

He even has the option of customizing which chat channels he listens to in his chat box. A simple click and he can have a tab set that doesn't show any Local or Broadcast messages which he can tab off as soon as he leaves Atlas Park.

AE is still faster to get XP then any part of the normal game.
