Clicking the 'Force Launch' button does get me to the log in screen, where it then says
Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 2060.201108130612.1, client 2060.201108050059.1 -

I've always loved the Gothic architecture of Mercy, it's twisting turning alleyways with hidden crumbling statues, old fountains and bandstands.
I, for one, hope they don't change it too much. I love doing Doctor Creed's arc. -

As for a dark and gritty non-powered hero/vigilante there's always Dirk Knightly the monologuing private detective. He'd probably jump at the chance for an interview or just to have his business card featured somewhere in the magazine

That new patch broke the Tailor. Now not only can you not zoom in on the lower half of your character (it just zooms to your top half), you can no longer zoom in to your face or torso when browsing through the options!

I kind of know all the pubs in the city centre for some weird reason,probably because trying to find food for a coeliac is a pain. also the place in Digbeth maybe finished next year and also the USA team are training and staying here in Brum during the Olympics so could be interesting.
Not sure when folks will be going for food/drinks (as in times etc) it was pretty staggered last year with people just going when they were hungry. A few of us did meet up on the Friday night, although having a couple of folks under 18 we ended up descending en-mass to the hotel a few of us were staying at and chatting till the wee hours of the morning, instead of going to the pub (I don't drink anyways).
Saturday evening a few of us did go to the Square Peg (Wetherspoons McPub) for a bite to eat. Best thing to do would be to pop down and see what's happening
Global Gaming mentioned the possible move to Digbeth last year. If it's bigger and better premises with more computers then it might be a strong possibility for next year (If I'm still running these events and Paragon haven't taken over by then! Or unless there's suddenly a bigger better place elsewhere )

The character has no reason to take these assurances at face value. Butane points out the Well could be controlling Gray but really it's even worse than that. In the UK city status was linked to having a cathedral. The only cathedral in game (if I recall) is Moth Cathedral, which would make Dark Astoria a city

I just want a way of being able to earn Astral Merits and Empyrean Merits without having to do an iTrial.
At the moment I'm doing the WST (on one character only as it's the only one that the iAbilities would actually fit concept wise) and upgrading the Notice of the Well to 40 Threads, which I then use to either unlock iXP or make components to go in my unlocked Incarnate Abilities.
The only thing that I can't currently do is purchase Auras or Emotes as I can't get Astral Merits or Empyrean Merits from anything other than iTrials, which I am not doing. I just want a way to change either Villain/Hero Merits, Merit Rewards (from completing story arcs etc) or something to get Astral Merits. Empyrean Merits could stay behind the iTrials to make the armour more special, but I don't see why auras and emotes have to be locked behind end-game content that I have no wish to do. -
I've no idea if this has been suggested elsewhere, if it has I apologise.
It's probably a crazy idea, but I'd love to be able to use my Hero/Villain Merits to obtain Astral Merits. Not sure how many H/V Merits it would take to hand in to get an Astral, but it would at least be a way for the solo and non-iTrial player to be able to eventually afford to get a new aura or emote. -

I use this handy guide so I don't out level any of the contacts in Praetoria. It's slow going, but I wanted to experience all of the arcs for a change.
