We have GMs in the game who regulate content. If you make an offensive character, the GMs randomize name/description/costume/etc. Why would MMs with their pets be any different? Why would THIS ONE ISSUE be a sticking point for the devs as a bar to creating new content when they already have a system in place to remedy it?
And moreover, where have the developers ever said it?
Again, no dev has EVER stated anything like this. If you disagree with me, go ahead and post your proof.

I'm another who agrees that the ending was fitting and fine...it's the few thousand pages or so just before the ending that were so mind numbingly lame that I have a problem with.
[SPOILERS]
Firstly all of the blending of other fictional worlds just doesn't work. From the end of Wolves of the Calla, where the Wolves turn out to be Doombots wielding lightsabers, to the presence of King himself in the story...all of that is just horrid, and hopefully they jettison every bit of it from a film adaptation.
Then there's the fantastically anti-climactic way the confrontation with the Crimson King played out...again, I hope that gets entirely redone. The very existence of Mordred is something that needs eliminated, especially the way that Flagg went out.
The first 4 books (although the very end of 4 was starting to stray into lame territory) were excellent. Everything that came after was weak and full of fail, and even though I agree that the loop was a fitting ending (even if it was blindingly obvious that's what was going to happen if you read the revised first book), I still don't think it was handled as well as it could have been.
I'd have preferred he take another 20 years and get the books done right, but I suppose after his accident he felt like he'd better just get through them. Unfortunately, the last three books are left feeling rushed and full of bad ideas. -

Well it was more aimed at Judas, saying that using superhero sounding names, makes one uncreative.
His post, like many others, sounds like "Oh, there's lots of free names, go use Sakura Rosebleed"
For example, a couple of months after GR was announced and after people had been discussing Praetoria for a while (Never mind the fact that Praetoria's been part of the game lore since issue 1) I was able to get Captain Praetoria, Kid Praetoria, Miss Praetoria and Doctor Praetoria on almost every server, including Freedom and Virtue. I've released a number of them on different servers but that's just an example of Superheroic names that "should" have been long taken but were just out there waiting to be picked up by someone. -

Sorry, but "Romgon the Orc" is a craptastic name.
Sorry, but "Reika Myanami" is not super hero sounding.
Stuff like Captain Shadow (okay I wouldnt use it, but thats besdies the point) is a typical Super Hero name.
People want their super hero names. And being an english based game, a lot of people want to stick to english.
Now, what they should do, is stop worring about people who's account have been inactive for a year, and free up their names. That would solve a lot of the problems. -
I play on Virtue, Freedom and Champion. I don't have problems getting names.
People just need to use some intelligence and creativity (i.e. stop trying to be "Captain Shadow", "Midnight Hawk" or "Spawn of Darkness") and they'll find that there are plenty of good names. -

Can I have fire blast/shield mastery, with Tank Hp and defensive modifiers, blaster damage mods, and criticals?
Also, for my APP I want Summon Robots. Just the protector bots, the titan and the two upgrades. I won't be needing the rest of the set, thanks. -
I can't comment on the review, because I couldn't get past the first few minutes. It might have only been the first few seconds.
It felt like two hours.
Some random guy, no personality, no style, slumped on a couch mumbling to an animated talking sword.

For me, it's a huge quality of life power that I was more then happy to snag. I'm one of those wackos who CAN'T play without a travel power. I had to get to level 14 to even start enjoying the game previously...sure I can get jet packs or those weird jumping packs but for some illogical reason based somewhere within the depths of my insane brain the 2:00:00 timer coupled w/ the fact that it's not something inherent to my character makes those a non-worthy substitute (I know that makes no sense).
With ninja run + swift, I can ignore a travel power at 14 and either skip it all together or get it much later.
I really wish though they would take out health and stamina and just make them autopowers already...I can't play w/o stamina at least...or heck even if they just got rid of the cooldown on rest I'd be happy...Heck, if they did any of the aforementioned I'd doubt I'd ever unsub lol. I know I'm nuts, but a travel power + stam (or near unlimited rest) are two mandatory requirements for my enjoyment of CoH. -

I'll also chime in to say that I never heard about SP anywhere but this forum. Admittedly, I don't read comics, but I still do peruse other geek and game related sites. I'm sure it was mentioned on some of them, but it slipped under my radar. Even after hearing of it, the only reason I saw it was because MC does a really good job in everything I've seen him in.
As for Serenity, it was basically driven by DVD sales from a cenceled TV show, had a low budget for sci-fi, no A-list actors and was released in September. That's not a recipe for box office success. -

Swift will indeed boost your run speed under NR.
However, Hurdle will increase the jumping speed under NR, and, unless things have changed recenctly, jumping around with NR+Hurdle is faster than running with NR+Swift, so that's the way to go if you're looking to skip a travel power. -
