  1. I thought we all knew that Ill/Rad = Easy Mode
    The route to 18 is very fast, then after you have all your debuffs and Phantom Army it's basically done.
    Things can only get better with more lvl up

  3. I never slotted my Human form attacks, because basically they're weak version of nova's and at lvl 3-5 I put those slots in TP, with 3 range and 2 end redux it's very quick and I can go everywhere without need to rest even without stamina.
  4. I have my Mires slotted with 2 acc and 3 recharges and my Eclipse with 2acc, 3 rec redux and a dmg res to have everything up asap and be sure to hit the foes to get the buffs.

    The dwarf isn't that tough and I think that the optimal slotting for the Drain is 2 acc, 2 heals and 2 rec redux cos the 3rd heal or recharge SO doesn't make much difference, but it's defo the only power from dwarf worth 6 slots(apart from the form itself).

    I also slotted Antagonize heavily because it's pants vs AVs without slotting..

    My Dark Nova has 3 tohit buffs and 3 end mods and my AoE attacks are slotted for 1 acc, 3 dmg and 2 rec redux to keep them comin and my Extraction with 3 recharges and 3 damage as they seem to have a pretty good accuracy out of the box.

    If they're changing the defence system to match the value and survivability of resistance based power sets then they'll need to either tune down the Lucks(25% is more than what an ice tank can get without a fully powered Energy Absorption)or buff the resistance ones(who does need a 5% resistance, seriously...).

    Unyielding is always useful, there's nothing worse than seeing a tanker getting mez'd.
    Toggle it up when you log in and keep it always on, no matter the foes.
    Each and every enemy type has some kind of mez(knock up/down/sideways, sleep, stun, holds are everywhere, hence the need of Unyielding always on,
    The only way I can be detoggled of Unyielding on my tanker is a faceplant

    Fireball -> aggro from the whole mob -> dead blaster -> no damage output.

    Tankers and empath (as I assume that your h34al0rZ are the empaths) are just facilitator, both have a secondary powerset that can (unless they changed it while I wasn't lookin) _deal damage_, yes, you've seen well, they can deal damage!!

    Back on topic: A tanker without taunt _can_ do his job if he's got an aura, but not without any aura.
    Anyway a tanker with an aura _and_ taunt will do a much better job than a tanker without taunt.
  8. Shadow Cloak is just Cloak of Darkness under a different name and Inky Aspect is the same as Oppressive Gloom(I have a WS and a /DA Brute ).

    The defense from Shadow Cloak is between naff and pants(3.5% sounds right) so it's not worth enhancing IMO if not for an end redux in the default slot

    I seriously hope you are joking.

    Since with one dmg res slot you're already at 85% res to all but psi, with that and Unyielding you're capping all of your res without need to waste further slots for damage res enhance(because goin over the cap doesn't count against debuffs).

    An optimal way to slot it is 1 dmg res 3 rec redux, the end recovery is already good enough without enhancing.

    I've got it with only the default slot for dmg resistance and it works great for me as I use it mainly as a panic button, if you want it to become part of your tanking style and have it up as often as possible put 3 recharge in there aswell and get used to the duration

    Some of us tanks can still do things like it should be done, and imo i am one of them. Keeping aggro can be a bit tricky with the 17cap but with some training its all doable.

    A stone tank can indeed survive in the middle of such herd if he's in GA, he won't be able to keep the aggro due to the level difference, tho

    You really never learn, where are the 5 missing slots on brawl, rest and sprint?!
    Also you need 6 slotted flurry(for recharge, obviously)in any build, no matter what.

  17. The most fun thing is when teaming with controller: while blasting in Nova I get mezd, pop out of nova, retoggle Nova, the mez starts working again and detoggles Nova, rince, repeat

    On the idea anyway, I don't see how you could make a bar to let you know what Cosmic balance is doin, you would need 3 different bars(dmg resistance, dmg buff and mez resistance)to be of any use and itwould fill the screen a bit too much IMO(not anyone plays in 1900x1300 )

  22. If you're on Union we in the 1AT coalition have a Kheldian-only SG, you could join in there if you want as we're coalitioned with other single-AT SG so you won't lack teammates.
    I know that the Deviants made a similar Coalition so they should have an house for Kheldians aswell
  23. Err....IMO the _only_ choice if you want to be a tauntbot it's Fire Epic.
    Fireblast, char and fireball are the best thing you can hope for grabbin, keeping and consolidating aggro..
    If someone runs, Fireblast.
    If there's someone really boring, Char.
    When you want all the attention for you, Fireball.

    But between Earth and Arctic I'd pick Earth, no doubt.

    We really have a different concept of 'nerf' LOL!
    I still don't understand why you can only resist a taunt with the defence and not with resistances..
    I.E.: You can miss an Ice Armor tank or a SR Scrapper with taunt but you'll hardly miss an Invuln tank or a DA Scrapper but they don't get resistance to taunt like Ice or SR...

    LoL, it's not a glitch and it's not Photoshopped, but things haven't always been like they're now, back a couple of issue you were able to tank and properly herd any number of foes, in this screenshot I was with Temp Invuln, Unyelding and Resist Phisical Damage with DOs and I already was with 95% res to Smash and Lethal so those trolls were doin 1-2 damage to me at best
    I made 3 herd in this Atta mish with 8 people on team(and we all know how many trolls are there in that mish)there were far more back there, but they're hidden by the hill.

    Another herd from Stagefright's Ice Duke.
    Every tank basically was able to taunt and survive to almost any number of foes(as long as they weren't +8 or so(altho I've seen stone tanks survive in the middle of an herd of +13).
