Yeah, the problem was I'm most likely away on the 19th-21st -weekend, and less than one week notice might have been a bit of a stretch. This way people at least have time to fix their timetables

Just to make a quick suggestion - if you have trouble getting enough people you could do it on the test server. That way debt is also meaningless, people with a spare respec could add in some powers that might be specifically useful to what you're doing, and people from Defiant (like me) and elsewhere could join in.
But fair enough if you'd rather not. Best of luck with this and fair play for doing some investigating. The whole thing has me most intrigued.
If the time of day can be put back a little I will be able to come along, with either Green Jet (scrapper) or Hawaiin Punch (tank - who will be 50 by then). I would also like to investigate the abandoned Crey Facility unless this has already been exhausted as an area of research?
I want to be there and know no reason why I couldn't be, but the inability to plan my life ahead by more than a week says it's not certain.

Same. Consider this a preliminary sign up: I want to bring Ar'cane,lvl 46 scrapper. I don't really care about the debt. The only problem is that it's 3 weeks away and i might have to do other stuff.

Is this being done on Test? They might actually change something in I7. Even though i doubt it.
I am still considering should this be done on Test - the upsides is that no-one loses anything, but the downside is that if they are running something critical new test-y stuff there on that particular weekend, it might mean unscheduled server reboots that will render any and all work completed undone.
I'm open to the idea, but I think it pretty much depends on how things look at that point.

Someone didnt think about the monster isle in Peregrine? Maybe there is something to do (like temp power for hydra, ambrosia for crystal titan)
I've been round the monster isles in peregrine, it's fairly dull (although very funny, you see how long your tank can live by themselves while running round the island randomly through groups)

Ok, time to remind about this. We have about two teams filled with eager monster-hunters.
Some saddish factual stuff. The test server will be in shambles after this week's RV event, no matter what they will claim. This means we'll be doing the test on Union.
Also judging from the preliminaries, we only have about 2 teams so far. Would be nice to at least double that amount. All this talk about debt must have scared the fair folk of Onion. We'll probably be at this for a couple of hours, so late arrivals will be more than welcome. If the early beginning time is a problem, I'm willing to bump the starting time up a bit. But remember folks - 17:00 GMT = 18:00 BST
As mentioned before, I have nothing else material to offer than whatever the Monsters drop and debt, but if we in fact figure out something about The Hive, we'll be doing something groundbreaking.

Now that it's a little closer to actual event, I can definitely say that I'll be able to make it but I might be a bit late depending on when I get home as I'll be away for the weekend.

EDIT: Oh shoot, just realized that this is on Saturday. I won't be able to make it after all. For some reason I was thinking it was on Sunday 
I was hoping to make it but I won't be lvl 45 by tomorrow. I did have a thought that the Rikti crash site might be of interest. I went on a little expedition and found that the ship itself is protected by DE lvl50's.
Similar set up to Hamidon in that it is accessed via a 'quiet' trial zone. Just a thought.
Just out of interest, why do people think there's more to the hive than just Hamidon?
I've had a look round there several times thanks and have yet to see anything that suggests something special there.
The fact the game is 2 years old now and there are so many servers in the US, I'd have thought something would have been found by now or at least enough evidence found to suggest something that there would have been a huge buzz about it, like there was with Caleb.
As for the Dev's refusing to confirm or deny anything and making Cryptic remarks, look at the Caleb incident. They refused to admit it was bugged and claimed 'it woul take a concerted effort', 'look for the clues' etc. Several different and convoluted strategies were tried then they amditted there was a bug and fixed. The solution to that 'great mystery' and 'challenging spawn method'? Just spend 20 minutes or so killing a few demons on Thorn Isle.
Other than the Jell-o in the middle, I suspect the only other thing of interest there is the Giant Monster 'Red Herring'
For me it was reading that the Devs managed Hamidon with just 3 teams. Roughly a third of a full SG which made me think that Hamidon was initially set up as a SG trial.
I am also an optimist and I have to believe that the last great villain in the game has more to it.
Ok, since the old "Real Hami Raid" thread is long gone in the winds of history, and contains all sorts of mix-matched information, I'll start a new one about a more specific subject.
I'm looking for about 4-5 full teams of heroes to do a Hive Expedition on Saturday 27th May, 17:00 GMT.
The Purpose of this is not to Raid Hamidon. We'll be out to try and figure out new stuff about what is The Hive and how it works. I guarantee you, if you thought the Hami Raids were boring and full of waiting, this expedition will be much worse. And you will not get a Hami-O from participating.
At least the following things will be done during this "event":
<ul type="square">[*] Travel through the Spiral Path that leads through the hive, without the assistance of Stealth, Invisibility, Phase Shift, PFF or other powers that prevent the Monsters from killing us. We will kill everything that tries to cross our path, and since the enemies are Monsters, this will take time and mean a lot of debt and dying.[*] Try to notice new features about The Hive not previously mentioned.[*] Will occupy the Forests of The Hive, just to see if they serve a purpose.[*] Will occupy the Cave Entrances, for the same reasons.[*] Die a horrible painful death in the hands of the Mitos and Big H himself in a 40-man charge against the blob.[/list]
Ideally your character should be of level 50. If you're lower than that, you need to understand that you aren't gaining anything from this but metric assloads of debt and possibly some insight to The Hive. We want all Archtypes represented, for diversity is part of was is The Vision of Statesman, so come as you are, no need to respec to a specific build.
Also in ideal situation you have both CoH and CoV and a SG base with Medical facilities. If you don't have a SG base with medbay, you should be willing to "temp" in a supergroup taking part that offers these services. This, of course if you have CoV, and can use Bases in the first place. If not, you need to have patience enough to wait for someone to Res you.
If you can live with these terms, reply to this message with the name of your character, the AT and level. Plus any ideas about what other stuff you want to investigate while in The Hive.
Team Leaders will be assigned once I know who is coming, priority goes to those who have investigated this stuff before and have participated in the one-team expeditions done to The Hive.
