To answer the original question, if I like the person, sure.
Don't worry about powers or skill much. -
That....
is well thought out.
Much better than what Longbow is now. -
Upon further review and discussion, we won't get the Cyborg pack.
Science pack - possibly. -
I'll have to look closer at the Cyborg and Science packs, now.

I can't imagine not having the Pyre epic pool, so Consume is definitely staying for me.

Quote:Great post.I have never cared about weather effects and I never will. They do precisely zilch for me. Yes, they're cool to see. Once. Beyond that, they're just fluff, and I agree with War Witch - they add nothing to the part of the game that I care about.
"Immersion" is such a blanket statement these days, what with people throwing it around willy-nilly, that it no longer has any meaning or weight. I, for one, would be much more "immersed" in the game if I could colour my Ring of Fire to be the same colour as my Cremate and my Healing Flames than I would be if it rained or it snowed. In fact, having weather and seasons tends to distract me from games more than it helps, with the possible exception of L4D2 where it actually makes you blind as a bat, thus carrying a gameplay effect.
I will always pick more costumes, more powers, more locations and more customization over weather. -
I'm glad we finally got an official statement on the issue.
Thanks for that. -
Really? I remember Hal doing tons of creation of items with the ring back in the 70's and 80's. Pity if they changed that.

glad to see that it has gone back up.
I'll need to log in later. -
Usually, the way I know that I'm in a closed Betas is by checking the Dev Digest. The e-mails seem to be very spotty.
And I don't get the NCSoft newsletter. -
Quote:Uber - Hera considers selling on the market as part of the market mini-game. See above.Yes - if you are participating in the market by selling your drops, you are playing the market minigame. It's only feasible to buy good stuff on the market if you sell good stuff there first.
You could, I suppose, grind enough inf through drops to get to the 2 billion price tag of some enhancements. That would take a while. I've IO'd characters under artificial constraints, like a fire tanker I built with defense set bonuses that I capped at 30, to run old line TFs with. A lot of that stuff had to be bought outright with merits, because of short supply of key buttons below the limit I had set. -
I'll probably get more damage for my Fire Tank. Mwahaha.

In case you don't clink the link, the plan is Nov. 16th.
If that doesn't happen, then it will be after Thanksgiving. -
I checked out the 88 base for the first time.
Wow, that is amazing. -

Quote:I think that Castle told Bill in a PM that they would have the same values, but I can't swear to that. They WILL have the default slot at level 2, just like Sprint, Rest and Brawl. And you can add slots to them just as you could before starting at level 3. They have not mentioned that the values will remain the same, but I strongly suspect that they will be the same level of recovery/regen (25%/40%)

My first "main" character at release was a Science Invuln. tank.
All of that untyped Vahz damage hurt like heck.
I still don't know how I got him to 10 without quitting. -

Some people have interesting views of the word exploit.
So trading prestige with inf at AP is an exploit now. Go figure. -
If you were flamed, I suspect it was due to the way you wanted it done. I find it hard to imagine people not wanting to be able to customize powers or weapons.
-
Well, you can't really see those people running missions. They are, well, in a mission, after all.
