  2. Not to be snarky, but Id read all the patch notes. From like Issue 6 on.

    Ed (enhancement diversication(?)) was issue 6 for us. Basically it means more than 3 of any type of enhancement and they start to lose their value. So only 3 damage in an attack. Or 3 defense in an armor.

    To answer you question specifically on Hasten. 3 recharge reductions and thats it.

    Theres been sooo many changes to the game that asking for tips could have people writing PAGES of info for you.

    Any specific questions you have can be answered. And the scrapper forum is a great place for info. Most of the people that post on this forum I believe are the most knowledgable in all the game. And the most level-headed.

    If AV solo'n is as important to you as you said in the last paragraph of the OP.
    Elec/ might not be the way to go then.

    I do have an elec/shield brute at 40 right now and its hella fun.

    /rgn sounds interesting if you like clickies. And with MoG's change its the perfect tool to take an alpha. Id imagine alternating LR/MoG and youd survive most alpha strikes.

    dm/nin stalkers are stupid powerful

    ranged/support...

    rad/psi, ddd, kin/arch def
    ill/rad, fire/rad, fire/kin, grav/storm, fire/thermal troller
    son/rad, fire/dark corruptor
    bot/trap, necro/poison thugs/dark mm
    fire/mm, arch/mm, ice/dev blast
    mind/fire, fire/psi doms.

    Luminara and Fulmens make great points. Any toon could solo anyone else's content in this game. I think the above list is a good outline of toons that have stupid lvls of power.

    But thats not to say that someone else couldnt come up on the boards and have toons not on that list do stupid crazy levels of power stuff ingame.

    Why do you think the cry for /sr's change in defense debuff protection.

    Either way softcapped kat/elec or high regen kat/elec will be beast.

    If katana is bringing defense in DA.
    and your getting resistance from your secondary.
    Wouldnt you want to improve regen for total layered protection.

    Instead of adding position/typed defense bonus's with IO's, doesnt it make more sense to try to increase another layer of mitigation?

    Double stacked DA is goin to give you 32% s/l defense, Add a steadfast and CJ and your at roughly 40% s/l def. Ill rely on my /secondary for oddball damage types.

    With the new changes to /elec's regen power (forget the name), and body masterys new physical perfection. Id imagine you could get impressive +regen goin.

    Take leadership up to health. dont take stamina. Pick up tough/weave... this is makin my altitis flare up again.

    Just a thought.

    ie twister for warhammer online. I was under the impression that this game didnt allow that kinda stuff here.

    I guess it depends on your definition of the not too distant future. We might all be driving, or piloting actually, flying cars in the not too distant future. Is that the time frame you speak of?

    You have a heal and ...

    I think the last thing /rgn needs is heals or endurance.

    /dark however is an endo ***** and has deathshroud. And if you put ID on him knock proof.

    DM/DA IO advice.

    I believe its impervium armor that gives 2.5% recovery bonus for 4 slots.

    Razzle dazzle or Stupify (cant remember which) have crazy good 2 slot bonus's for recovery as well.

    performance shifter, knockback IO's (so u can drop accro), and theft of essense +end proc in DR. Thats what id work on first. With those 3 or 4 IO's /dark armor plays completely different.

    Oh yea, and the max health/endurance accolades help tons.

    After looking at your build and seeing you didnt take OG, forget what I said about razzle dazzle/stupify.

  14. Your 3 basic armors arent that bad at end consumption.
    Its when u keep CoD and deathshroud on all the time that you feel the pinch. Im not even gonna start with CoF.

    Id grab CJ for immobilize protection and avoid Accro altogether as well (another huge end drain, slot -knock IO's if u can afford them).

    Theft of essense proc in DR is a game changer. Good luck finding one of them!!!
    Performance shifter helps tons as well.

    Other than that. Moderate endredux slotting in your attacs and you should be golden.

    IO stuns have great recovery bonus's. For relatively little cost. Impervium armor is the beast as well.

    Try for the +endurance accolades as well. Their relatively easy to get.

    A ddd just died in a mission. Soul transfer, HT, OG, DP.
    Thats like 35 mag of stun in like 10.87234 secs?
    Add another and you can start to talk about holding AV's through PtoDs in nanoseconds.

    Wonder if ST's stun will get changed like nightfall did (ranged damage mods) in scrappers epic.

    Of all my scrappers ill finally be able to tell whos the strongest.

    Can my softcapped aidself claws/sr take on that maxed spawn.
    How well will my kat/wp do with Just SO's? And will my kat/da do as good? And if so will my ma/da be able to do the same thing. Is it all cuz of divine avalanche?
    How much *** will my dm/invuln brute kick?

    Think of how much other awesomeness is comin next issue.

    This game really does get better and better.

    The community I believe has alot to do with that.

  18. Ma/da, single target sniper. 1 difficult target stunned and quickly eliminated with good single target damage.
    Elec/da, minion/Lt muncher. Not much fun against that pesky AV though.

    Caltrops are teh roxxor. However, scattering mobs will eventually get outta range of OG and DR. Not a place I like to be. Anyone who thinks unleashing with TT + NF on a defender sux, I question their judgement. True, dark epic kinda sux but that might change if you want a controllery scrapper.

    Too bad /dark is the only choice you can get if u wanna scraptroll.

    Something like kinetics for scrappers would be incredible.

    Attack foe with siphon power clone and get your resist powers.
    Attack foe with ID equivalent to get your mez protection.
    transfusion/ference for what they are.
    SS for a recharge + damage buff ala build up/quickness.
    Image fulcrum shift the equivalent of something like an unstoppable buff.

    Have it be like riding a razors edge. Slip up and forget to attack with ID and your mezzed.
    Oh, SP ran out, that next hits gonna hurt. Good thing tranfusions ready. Attack attack attack...

    Anyways just some ramblings.

    Elec/dark does sound hella fun though. Dont think I can take anymore lvls with dark armor though.
  19. I use to run roughshod in pvp on an ice/thermal cor.

    With the changes introduced in I13, your shields grant very little +resist. Everyone already has resistance to all damage types.
    Your heals u could target on the imps but Id rather throw a hold or something else then try to target my pets. Still your AoE heal is good for yourself.
    Thaw is worthless as its all mez resistance now.
    Forge is still good. As is melt armor and heat exhaustion.


    With how mobile pvp is Id imagine your imps would just slow you down.
    I could see it being decent in arena, but not too great for zone.

    Who cares though, if you have fun so be it.

    Dark miasma doesnt get soul transfer, thats dark armor (scrapper secondary).
    Howling twilight is an auto hit mag 2 (i think) stun with some -regen in it. It also has the side benefit of rezzing a full team to full health.

    If you die playing dark miasma, you cant use HT.
    Hitting vengeance after a player drops then rezzing is hella-good-time though.

    People like Stupid_fanboi, The Mighty Storm (later the Mighty Scourge), Sarate, and Havoc where doing this stuff aloooong time ago.

    What these guys understand are the numbers behind the builds and how to maximize Mids

    You can actually "scrap" with those.
    Their lower hit points are the only difference.
