I have no advice other than to log a support call and to wish you luck getting your very nice costume restored.

Quote:Looks like a very nice breed of dog.My wife and I have a purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
So far she's been perfectly healthy. We made sure of her pedigree before we got her. Her line was bred to be hunting dogs, and not necessarily show dogs, so the long term health of them was the primary concern of the breeder.
The problem as I see it is that to continue with our current definitions of pedigree and pure breeds means a dangerously restricted gene pool. The various pedigree associations try to keep the breeds healthy by only allowing mating between animals that have a defect free line back to their grandparents. While this "largely" prevents immediate problems it is not a solution. The only solution is a larger gene pool. Which is why I think the public should be encouraged to buy cross breeds and we should drop the idea of "pedigrees" -
Quote:Hush! You are not supposed to mention that mission.Run the hero-side Mender Silos pseudo task force. You'll get some opinion of Manti after that, one way or the other.
It is a pretty decent TF, and if I'm not mistaken has the second largest enemy model in the game (Jade Spider) in the climax.
Been a while since I ran it myself, but I remember I liked it.

Its one of the few surviving missions where the signature characters aren't all "incarnated" and a solo hero can come along, beat up Lord Recluse, Ghost Widow et al and prove yourself to be at least Statesman's equal.
If it wasn't for the fact that the map is so buggy and the AI gets stuck in so many places, that would be one of my favourite missions. However I won't bug it because I fear that if the Devs spend any time on it, it will get Incarnate Trial treatment or else the signature villains will be changed to goons in suits -
Every "pure" breed has some kind of problem, which is why if I get another dog (and I would really really like one) it will be a cross. In recent years I have become ideologically opposed to the whole concept of pedigree breeds.

I am hoping it will have nothing to do with Praetoria but in that I am expecting to be disappointed.
I hope it will have a nice little story arc and I will be surprised if that expectation isn't met.
I am expecting it to use a game mechanic that divorces the missions from the game world but I am hoping it won't. As convenient as they are I dislike these missions that just start "nowhere" as I find them immersion-breaking. -

Quote:What else are you going to spend your prestige on?So...why should a Group spent the inf/prestige on maintaining one?
Admittedly there are fewer reasons to run a base these days, given the many ways we have to get about and the changes to email, but they are still fun and cool. -

Quote:I find it interesting that X-Men: First Class felt okay to go with costumes that were very close to the original comic while the first X-Men film had to give everyone rubbishy batman suits. Its as though because the film was set in the 60s the Directors/Producers had the confidence to do a "proper" costume. Even the ridiculous White Queen!I'm 44 and was disappointed that the X-Men movie didn't use their real costumes. I'm not a fan of the darker, grungier looks. I don't want every character to look like a high-tech soldier, street thug, or normal civilian. Give me old school superheroes any day.
I am looking forward to The Avengers. Modern super heroes with bright flashy costumes -

Quote:I hear this a lot but its not true. The first use of the "F" word on the BBC was in 65 and that caused a bit of bother but no one was bothered by "Bloody". Unless it was in PlaySchool"Bloody" as in "Not bloody likely" was once considered profane in England, and even in the 60s and 70s BBC got flack for using it on the air. In the States it's simply considered quaint.

Quote:Available on a different marketJust out of curiosity, is the slide power available to purchase anywhere in the market? I haven't been able to find it.
However you will have to contact support and ask them to apply the code to your account because the web site won't handle this type of upgrade any more.
I upgraded my North American account using the EU Deluxe DVD Edition (the one in the link above) a couple of months ago. -
Quote:Or...Or...
Dog = Your personal slave...dogs will "love" anyone...even people who beat them...so don't feel to special. You have to take them out to ****...have to clean...feed on a schedule because they are too dumb otherwise.
Cat = Actually have to treat like a member of the family to gain their respec. Clean themselves. **** on their own.
Dog = the physical embodiment of optimism and loyalty
Cat = cares nothing about you and will go live with the granny up the street if she provides better grub -

Quote:I am a big fan of Doom and prefer the stories where he is written somewhat ambiguously. Like the one where he succeeds in taking over the world and actually does a better job of running it, turning it into a utopian society.Dr. Doom is always a good example. Specific writers aside, he's pretty much always an unambiguous bad guy. He kills people, threatens cities, bargains with homicidal aliens and more, so we know this is not a very good person. But at the same time, we can still admire his genius, we can still admire his achievements and we can still admire his tenacity. This is a villain that the narrative respects, and because the narrative respects him, we as the audience are in turn compelled to respect him, as well. This doesn't always work, obviously, but it still works more often than not.
I feel the same about Mr Fantastic. There was a story where Sue Storm found a diary that suggested Reed Richards predicted the effects the cosmic rays would have and knowingly flew them into the radiation. That Reed Richards was far more interesting that the one the story end with, who had merely been the victim of a frame-up by our favourite Baron. -
