Assuming you mean the small, hard plastic game time cards that came in DVD boxes, try your local Wal-Mart, if you have one.
They should have $20 CoX-specific cards (30 days and comes with the 30 day jet pack and are what I use) should be on the same racks with the $20 Guild Wars cards (wish they'd change those to let you add any of the campaigns or the expansion instead of just Prophecies), the $35 NCSoft cards (2 month's time in CoX, Aion or Lineage II), and the assortment of Nexon, Zynga (Mafia Wars, FarmVille, etc.), Dragonica, Hello Kitty Online, etc. cards. Other chain stores that sell those types of cards might have 'em, as well. -
Especially during Cat Herding, er, Task Forces where it seems the vast majority of players can't grasp the concept of "stay with the group". (Or have I just been very unlucky to have everyone wander off 'til it's AV time on every single TF I've been on? :P)

Until I20 hits, I can support that stand. After that, though, shards'll be dropping in it... (Personally, though, I'll be skipping it - my characters tend to be built for 29 as the lowest they can go [L30-32 IOs being the best tradeoff, IMHO, between power and amount of content that can be done without losing sets while exemplared])

Thursday's fine for me. (any day is, really)

Highly doubt you can fire it that many times. And how many times you can fire it is not the issue. The issue is doing significant damage in one shot from an extreme distance (though it's a great thing with my squishy AR/Dev Blaster with his Sniper Rifle, LRM Rocket, and Time Bomb, I can't think of any situation where it would be of use to a Stalker) without the foe being able to fire back at you while doing so.

Tuesday's a rather bad time for these sorts of things thanks to it being the first day for each new Weekly Strike Target - which is probably one of the reasons why so few showed up yesterday.
But Rotten Ronnie Raines'll try to be there... -
Quote:If you want Stalker-like play without the stigma of actually being a Stalker, go with a Bane Spider. It's a pipe dream.
I am currently in the process of dismantling my spines/nin stalker in exchange for a fire/EA brute. Just so I can still enjoy (in many ways superior) stalker like play style yet get s/tf and raid invites. Castle's stalkers are where we want them post was the final straw. The AT is dead to me. -
I'd vote Positron. I like having an Endurance bar, so fighting Clockwork sucks.

Quote:Yes, both. It's a deliberate strategy because of the way damage is shared. First, the attacks have to hit you through your Defense. Then the damage gets reduced by your Resistance. Then the damage gets reduced further as it's spread out to your pets within Supremacy range (2 shares for you, 1 share for each of your pets, which means the damage you take is reduced to 25% of the post-Resistance total if all of your pets are out and in range).Katie,
This is a bit cryptic to me. Are you saying that you take personal attacks for the MM (which may be from the primary and/or PPP) to draw aggro on yourself, or just that you run in BG mode? (or both?)
MT
The upshot is: personal attacks and Provoke are great, at least as long as you've been building for Defense and/or Resistance, stay near your pets in bodyguard mode and don't order them to focus-fire on an enemy (since that drops BG mode for a while; with Bots/Traps I'd edit your focus-fire macro to only send in the Drones & Assault Bot so that the Protectors stay on Defensive/Follow and you get a 50% reduction to damage) -
Pity that was it and that I could only stay a little while. :/ Oh, well. Can't all be as well attended as Tanker Tuesdays and such, I guess, especially the first time out...

Quote:Against EBs, sure, and on higher +#/x# settings. At normal difficulties, though, against normal (plus Bosses) foes, they're just fine...Unfortunately our blasters don't live up to the comic book image and for a new player the blaster is the most difficult and frustrating AT to play. It's the one and only blue side AT where the primary, secondary, and epic don't give you all the tools that you need to both win and survive, hence the reliance on inspirations and set bonuses.
To you, perhaps. Not everyone has the Go! Go! Go! mentality where speed is everything. -
Next up is "Judgement". As to what it'll be, IIRC, it's supposedly going to be AoEs of some sort.

So, 2 and a half hours from now. Rotten Ronnie Raines'll be there.

You still get shards while solo, but it's quite rare no matter what you have slotted. The way they've got it set up has it so that drops are more likely the larger the team (not just the team-equivalency at the Field Analyst/Fateweaver) you're on.
-
Depends on the player and how perma you want your Phantom Army. I went the Spiritual route on my Ill/Rad and now have about a 3s buffer between its recharge and the PAs starting to disappear. Means far fewer times that they've disappeared on their own before I could cast again - which, due to my slow reflexes, means fewer faceplants from whatever baddies I happen to be facing.
-
Yadda, yadda, yadda. Time Bomb's fine as it is. You trade speed for an extreme amount of damage, with lots of KB, at a safe range that you can immediately follow up with another attack while it's in the process of blowing up, which means excellent safety.
-
A to-hit of 64% instead of 50%? The way everyone keeps going on about them, I thought they were up at 90% or something. I suppose it could be a problem for those who rely only on Defense and who refuse to carry greens or purples...
-
-
And that's the problem - it was your first MM and thus you obviously didn't know what you were doing and therefore played badly with it.
-
Smoke bomb's not reliable for toe-bombing, in my experience. It also doesn't help you when you jump over a small building on Peregrine and land in the middle of a pack of Malta you had no way of spotting... :P (since they'll already be aggro'd and thus Smoke Grenade won't let you keep them off your back)
-
Strange. My L26 Bane (who is kicking more *** at that level solo than any of my Stalkers ever have!) has no problems running on SOs. Two slots in Stamina and one Endurance Reduction enhancement in each attack toggle (of which he has three) does the trick for him... (certainly better than the same system does for my Shield Defense/War Mace Tanker who also has three toggles and all attacks slotted with EndRedux - as well as three slots in Stamina compared to my Bane's two)
-
The redside alignments are always in higher demand during Spring Fling. Combined with their fewer numbers...

Not really. You can just hit the x key (or whatever you bind the descend key to) and get close enough quickly. You do tends to slide a little, though, if you're angled at all, but not much of a problem with a little practice. (note that my above suggestions are how I handled respeccing my AR/Dev, with the exception of grabbing Maneuvers to mule an LotG recharge since he already had Hasten).
