"Get a Villain, a Rogue, or a Loyalist"

These are the instructions from Ganymede in his special assignment of 'Getting Gertie's Garter" or better known as getting the Girdle of Aphrodite.

You need one of these worthies to break the lockbox to get the girdle.

I asked Villains and loyalists and rogues in Pocket D and got no response. I tried Emailing and got no response.

How does one "get" a Villain or a Rogue or a Loyalist to complete this assignment??

The redside alignments are always in higher demand during Spring Fling. Combined with their fewer numbers...

Also make sure that in options you haven't set see opposing faction private/local/broadcast to no. People may have be replying and you couldn't see it

Hi Folks: In frustration, I cancelled the assignment. My emails elicited the response that the person I was contacting does not exist. To be cnadid my email skills are poor and I may have been doing it wrong (/tell <person or thing> and insert my message.

For the record I play a hero called NOMANN on the Champion server, but have logged off until noon on Saturday PST. I have little experience playing with a team as I have made it thus far on my own.

Doh! Looks like I might have missed you. If you still need a hand with this just send me a tell (That's: /tell @R-Tech, Your Message Here) I'll be online for a while now that I'm back.

Also, you can type /search to bring up a window to see who is around on the server at that moment. You can talk to anyone in the same area by using /b Your Message Here or send them a private tell with /tell PlayerName, Your Message Here, which it sounds like you got right. You'll know if the message went through because it will show up in your chat tab in bright yellow letters. If you're not sure if a given player is a Villain, Rogue, or Loyalist alignment then you can ask. You only need one person to assist you with the mission, and all they will need to do is click on a chest at the end of said mission.

If there's anything else we can do to help just let us know. In the mean time I'll try finding you in-game. Best of luck out there!

P.S.: Checking to make sure that you can read messages from players that are of an opposing alignment is a very good suggestion. You can find the option by clicking "Menu" on your health/XP bar, then clicking on "Options" and scrolling down while on the "General" tab until you find the "Chat" settings. It should say "Show Villain ____ Chat" and be set to "Enabled". There are three options, make sure they're all on.

My Ganymede valentine's Day mission was a disaster. Not for all the help offered but due to my own ignorance on communique procedures and protocols for team building. Apparently I ran out of time.

I wish to thank all the folks who offered to help this ignorant player. I will leaqrn how to properly conduct communiques and I learned the protocols for creating a team. In both of my heroes I have had an aversion to 'joining' a group, team or task force.

Don't worry KW, we all had to learn the ropes when we were new. It's the way it goes.

If you missed out on that mission, I think Ganymede will give it out again if you want to retry it. Until you get the hang of team building you can also keep an eye out for other people running the mission and ask if they need a hand. Then you can take turns with your missions.

On the plus side, if you don't get around to finishing it this time there is still a while left on the event, and it will be back next year too. The badges from the special missions will be there waiting for you when you're ready.

It's worth noting that not only do you need to do your mission with help from a villian/etc, you need to help a villian with thier mission before you can get DJ Zero's missions.
