Bane Soldier?
Strange. My L26 Bane (who is kicking more *** at that level solo than any of my Stalkers ever have!) has no problems running on SOs. Two slots in Stamina and one Endurance Reduction enhancement in each attack toggle (of which he has three) does the trick for him... (certainly better than the same system does for my Shield Defense/War Mace Tanker who also has three toggles and all attacks slotted with EndRedux - as well as three slots in Stamina compared to my Bane's two)
I agree. I wouldn't say that my Bane is outstanding in terms of its endurance efficiency, but I haven't as many problems with it as I have with a scrapper at a corresponding level. I use maybe one blue inspiration per mission, and that's while running several toggles of leadership as well as the spider leadership powers (I think 5 in total).
Too many alts to list.
I finally got my Bane to lvl 50 and have him Alpha slotted with Cardiac. I also run Tough and Weave. My Bane can out damage my BS /Ele Scrapper when it comes to attack chain. He is a Beast.

I've started playing a soldier and just recently got him to 24 and went with bane (the spider legs steer me away from the crab). As of right now his Damage Output:Endurance usage ratio is terrible. I run out of endurance before one mob is done.
So basically, I'm wondering, does the end usage even out a bit in the higher levels? Can Bane's solo missions well? Then is there anyone here with a nice PvE Bane build that I can look off of to get a good idea on how to take this toon? I'd say my budget for this toon is no more than 3 bil sadly =/ |
I'm sure we could all agree it comes down to slotting, could someone post their standard SO slotting and give the OP a suggestion to work from?
Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.

1x Acc, 1x End, 1x Rech, 3x Dam for the attacks. 1x End and 3x whatever's appropriate for the toggles.
Having the ability to put 2 builds on a character, I made a bane build after levelling my crab to 50. I've since liquidated the crab build to get rid of the crablegs and to slot up this new build.
As for endurance, I only have assault, maneuvers and the status resistance ones running. Non-inherent fitness stamina is 3-slotted with 2 level 50 EndMod IOs and Performance shifter chance for +End. The PS IO is indeed useful and I think it's more effective than having a 3rd EndMod slotted in. Now with only those 3 toggles, I have no endurance problems.
My plan is to someday respec this character to have inherent fitness with 4 slots (so to include the 3rd EndMod IO, or the PS EndMod IO) and possibly take tough/weave.
I haven't respeced yet because I'm not sure how much I want tough/weave. I already added global S/L and mele/ranged/AOE defenses through IOs that give me more than enough protection in teams. Solo this so far has been ok, although I can do better.
So without cardiac, I've started to slot up musculature. I'll likely go for the core paragon in time as I like the idea of having +45% damage that's unaffected by ED.
