The only reason any of my characters have travel powers anymore is that I can't be bothered to respec 'em and my new characters have little desire to get any, either, other than perhaps Teleport...

This but I would also guess that if you were being hit by all the attacks sent at you, your fury would build faster, thus giving you more power.

I was just poking around mids to help me respec my illusion/kin controller when I noticed this: both in game and on mids Blind is listed as an aoe, but no radius is given nor is the target stats in-game show the target type to be an aoe. So poses my question, is blind actually an aoe hold? If not can the data change to be corrected or better yet if blind is not can it be made into? (it is ok if it stay single target damage, just want the holds). After all, Illusion controll is the only controll powerset without an aoe power (unless blind is, from experiance, does not seem like it).

Something I just thought of, What if their inherent worked like a defenders (dons high fire resist of fire armor) in that your inherent would be team-reliant. You would get a damage buff for each member of your team. You would have an above average base damage and for each team member you would get a damage buff. The damage buff would work on a negative exponential decrease so as your damage was buffed for each team member you would get half the damage buff from before as your team count increased. It would work so that fully slotted your archetype would be just under a well slotted melee AT damage.

Something that could be done to make teleport much better is keep it mostly the same, BUT instead of falling after a few seconds, you stay floating untill you move. For instance teleport would look like this- after you teleported a hover flag would activate on you but in coding a move cancel tag would be put on the hover effect.

An angel could be many things. A list would look like:
1. A PB, controlling and blasting holy light.
2. A fire blaster, being a worker of God, carrying out His will and blasting holy fire.
3. A Fire meele toon, just the fire swords are a bible reference. (the angel who guarded the garden of eden after Adam and Eve were ran out wielded a flaming sword.)
4. For a fallen angel, a WS, or any dark power sets. -
I have a question, is it wrong to buy mostly cheap recipies on the market, buy the somewhat expensive salvage (in some cases, ie. 3 mil. a piece-ouch), and then craft the recipies and make a profit on the market? For instance if I buy three lockdown +2 mag recipies when I have 16 mil. inf. when I sell them I make a profit of almost 2x what I had before. I am wondering this because is it draining up the market of rare recipies and salvage or is it just wise business. So is it wrong or just a good inf. making plan?

I could not open the build because I am about as smart as a fire imp when it comes to mids, but, looking at the #'s in the game I would have to agree, very powerful. I might just try this when going rogue releases (I do not frequent redside very often). Excelent idea. -

Ok I get the point, I am sorry, and please forgive me. Once this post is gone from the first or second page of this forum I will repost it in the suggestion forum. I had heard here and there that the devs hardly go to the sugestion forums (and I just checked dev digest, no posts in the sugestion forums-although they may still go there and just read). So to sum it up I am sorry, and again please forgive me. -
Well I guess you were right, but how often do the devs frequent the sugestion forums? Plus, I planned to see how much my ideas were liked and then post them in the sugestion forum if they were popular.

Before I begin let me request for no sugestion forum thataway's -->. These are some things I have seen around the forums or have thought of myself. Also before I begin I would like to know what you all think of my (and other's) ideas that I am requesting here. (in other words tell me what you think.)
1. Would it be possible to have a WW or black market access pannel in sg or vg bases. Why? Well it would cut the occasional lag at WW (I know, not very often, but still.) It would allow you to buy recipies and salvage then craft it in your base (to sell for more or slot). And it would be a handy tool.
2. Instead of a vault being a personal salvage storage, make it an inf. storage. Why? Well salvage can be stored and sold on the market. Sometimes it would be nice to store inf. and then withdraw it when needed. Also if it was account-wide you could store inf. and then get it with another toon, or with another toon on a different server.
3. I had a 3 but I forgot it.
4. For you all to tell me what you think. -
I would like to know how you get to the matrix room (the arena one). It would be neat to go there just so I could say I did it. Master_Blade, would it be possible for you to post how to get there, or would you be modsmacked?

I also have noticed that all of the quick jerky animations have been fixed and a bunch of the mobs have new idle animations too. Yay for the devs! -

Has the quality of public relations with the CoX crew degraded from what it was in the past? For instance the server page often being wrong (not on the main servers but on test it was wrong), there being no hint of announcement on I16 for a couple hours after it went live (forums one counts only for half, a good portion of the playerbase, I think does not use the forums), there being no announcement for I16 going live on the main page (the hero con one should have been moved down one because I16 is live now should of replaced it's spot), the GMoTD for I16 was only a short mini one, among some others I've noticed. I know a couple of people on the design team are sick with H1N1 but would that affect public relations?
This is not a rant or gripe but more of a "Wha--?" This started after I15 sometime I belive and has gone downhill since. :S
(P.S. how do you work the smileys, I cannot sem to find the :S one.) -
What is odd however, is there is no announcement saying i16 is live or not. Not on the forums, the updater, or the main page. *Waits as updater loads, hopes...*

I have a question, I heard somewhere that a Dual Blades/Super Reflexes scrapper looks almost like a dancer with the dodges from SR and the movement of the blades in DB, and I plan to roll one but, how well does SR play? I already like the powers of DB (a cone attack that is unmatched except for the tier 9 which is also a cone, the combo system... all of it rocks.) but have no idea about SR. I like the power quickness but the long recharge on elude is kinda scary (never used a t9 defensive power.) One more thing, how does the fx effects look, I might wait untill I16 goes live if the effects look wierd, but if not I would roll him before (What would be some cool colors to put on SR, the fx will determine his roll time.)

I have noticed this with animations too, for instance one day I was one shoting lowbie enemies in atlas on one of my higher levels while waiting for a friend and when I took out someone who was doing the purse snatching emote after the snatchee ran off the snatcher was holding a floating purse and pulling it while flopped over.
[edit] just did the same with a lowbie and still the same continuing animation after he died. I think this is a bug and someone needs to pm the devs about this. -
Before I start I will admit I do not play on redside, I just do not like the lack of shiny-clean-order that can be found in the rogue islands compaired to paragon city. Yes they are the Rogue Islands, but that in not my point.
Now with going rogue coming (thank you devs!) I plan to take a MM to paragon. But just reading the "Who else hates MM's" put some questions to mind. They are:
1.What are MM's basic job?
2.WhatA are the basic MM tactics?
3.How are MM's played?
4.What are possible "stunts" (tanker-alpha esque) a MM can pull?
5.How does the MM pet command system work?
And finally 6.Is it possible to set keybinds to tell a specific pet to do x job (move, attack, guard, ect.) like if you give a robotics pet drone the timebomb from (I think) traps can you tell that one pet with the bomb to move to a mob that you target.
Once going rogue comes out I plan to roll a MM so learning this is crucial to not annoy others. Thanks for any help -

I like the concept and think it could be implemented under the current code (you get quasi-side kicks in certain missions already) and could be done in a way that maintains balance. Plus it would add a lot to the "concept" driven characters that could add to their story line by having a customizable side kick. I would love, for example, if my Shield Tanker could get a TA/A defender or an MA/SR Scrapper as a side kick (think Captain America and Hawkeye or Falcon). Emphasis added in the only way I know to add emphasis here (not a clue on how to bold ect.) This would be perfect for the natural super booster. (if you noticed there is a sci, tech and magic origin booster already) just think a natural hero with a sword and shield pulls out a long range communicator and calls in an archery whatever (mabey you can design the costume like a second hero or villian but only have powers to level 20-no pool powers no app's just half the levels worth of normal powers.) Then this would be possible.
