I felt the same way didn't like the efforts to civilize the place but the tunnels still seem pretty hazardous if you dare to brave them and Meg Mason's timed missions really add something challenging.

    MA Mondays!

Had a great time as per usual. Was even able to rate and make comments this time for each arc played and they all were great, imho. I think whoever keeps making those animal/humanoid custom mobs for the Bovine and the recently featured Feline arcs deserves special mention cause they are so freakin' hilarious!

    Mind/ Concerns

Yeah the Wardens have always been tough to confuse, which is what makes it really sweet when you get your Domination bar full and then they are pushovers.
  4. Just trying to figure out how I'm supposed to calculate UK time seems pretty daunting. They don't even have identical Daylight Savings Time dates over there, right?

    MA Mondays!

Sounds awesome! I'll even try to be on time for once.
  6. Isn't Elf_Stalker was the designate Troll for this topic? I guess it is nice that all the English speaking servers have been merged onto the same page and it's also easier to switch between the EU and NA servers. I expect it will cause a lot of culture shock for people though.

I'm really gonna miss that auto spell checker feature cause I make more errors and typos than seems humanly possible.
  7. The new forums don't seem to be done yet, despite what it says in the updater, given that a lot of the threads like the Community and Dev digests are just full of a bunch of broken links that don't work. Maybe they will improve the look of the front page as well. I just don't like it but then I'm a grouch when it comes to dealing with change.
  8. Anything more you could tell us about the leaders of Vanguard would be appreciated--More on their backgrounds, the exact nature and origin of their powers, etc.. So far we've only got a little bit in their character description and the sparse info you can get about Lady Grey and Serpent Drummer from the MA interface and that doesn't even seem to list those cool spirit animals among SD's powers! Why not add all 7 Vanguard Leaders to MA? By the way, they need a catchier name, maybe the V7?

    MA Mondays!

Had a great time. Loved Illicit Affair with all the AV smashing goodness and also Ltn Frost's arc. The one with the bovine humanoids (what was the name?) was super hilarious. Didn't get the comment/rating screen on any of the arcs so will have to go back and try to do them solo. Is this a new bug, btw? Cause it never happened to me before.

Might as well throw my two amateurish attempts into the ring. Made these both with MA first came out and am thinking of scrapping them soon and buying the maximum number of arc slots for a whole new series featuring a personal nemesis. So feel free to be brutally honest.

    Alternate Realities
    Arc # 193665
    Length: Very Long
    Morality: Neutral
Basically my attempt to create my own personal bank Mayhem/Safeguard arc with some non-canonical twists thrown in for fun.

    Alternate Realities II: Fever Dreams
    Arc # 158534
    Length: Very Long
    Morality: Neutral
As the silly title suggests, I went a little crazy with this one just to see what could be done. It's kind of a grind but a fun one I think and each mission has a kind of Mastermind theme one way or another. So much so that it could almost be a training simulation for those new to that AT or just curious about it.

I'm like there if I can get an invite to team. Always seem to show up late and can't get in
  11. Nothing much has changed except that Psychic Scream is now a must have instead of a choice, and TK Thrust is now slightly better than taking Air Superiority, imho. If you weren't playing like Blapper before, you definitely should now.

You still have to take Psi Dart and it still ain't good for much but a snipe if you put one or two range enhancements in it (aside from the -recharge against AVs or for building Domination). Take Mental Blast early then respec out of it once you get Subdue cause there's little need for both in your build. Stamina yes, especially if you plan on taking the most awesome power of Telekinesis.

Maybe put slightly more emphasis on Recharge Reduction and possibly also End Reduction and Recovery if you can manage it and you are golden.

Here's a standard build I've been using, sans the IO sets, that has worked pretty well for me so far while teaming or soloing. Bear in mind that Mids has not been updated yet with the new values for Doms.

For my second (solo) build I'm thinking of substituting Psionic Lance for Subdue as it does have it's uses when soloing and switching Recall Friend to TP Foe.

She just has a chunky face, like she used to have obesity problems.

[/ QUOTE ] Since when can you tell if somebody used to be fat by the "chunkiness" of their face? That's just wrong.

Anyway Desdemona does indeed look original and very hot.

    Dropships

Huh? If 0 is 0 percent then (by admittedly arbitrarily using decimals to the hundredth place) 1 would be 100 percent more than 0 and 2 would be 200 percent.

Of course that is if you allow for the fact that you can destroy like 99 percent of a Drop Ship before it leaves a zone.

Anyway, stupidity of this aside, I still think it rocks and hope to attend the next one of these on Victory.
  14. Irresponsible

    Dropships

That's 200 percent more than most servers have managed, especially if you count villainside. Would have liked to attend this one but whenever something cool like this happens they seemed to get scheduled for multiple servers and at the same time. Victory rules!
  15. Please post your screen captures if you've got them. I only managed to get a couple cause I thought we'd have more time before the Rikti showed up so was completely unprepared.

Can't wait to see the video and it was a great event indeed, second one I've been to this weekend!! I think the Rikti must be running out of ships by now!
  16. That is just a fantastic video and love the song! Great screengrabs everyone!! I was Razor Vein (at 0:16 in the video, blonde with feisty tails and blast tights!) and was on the same team as Demobot I thinks. Too bad I didn't think to record or do some screen grabs of my own cause I am dumb cause now I can't even remember the name of most of my teammates or leader although there were lots of them with Templar in the name so I thought somebody was multiboxing until I realized it's a SG name. Yeah anyway that totally rocked hard core and there absolutely should be a badge for downing a drop ship just like with all the other GM's in the game.

Oh and my favorite part prior to the Rikti showing up was all the Alakazamreact transformations and the bridge to nowhere of course.
  17. But there's no reason a PB with Dwarf form can't tank if you are willing to go a little slower maybe compared to the average tank led team and there were two scrappers for back up? Strange how sometimes teams just don't gel.
  18. With my Mind/Psi Dom I find it better to stack Confusion on bosses or if that doesn't work stack holds on them than to use Terrify, which I find more useful as a compliment to the other cone and AoE damage attacks than as a control, especially if talking about controlling bosses. Telekinesis works better as a control than Mass Hypnosis or Terrify for the early levels too provided you can find a convenient corner to push the mobs into.

When soloing you will probably get more use out of the combo of Levitate and TK Thrust than anything else which do indeed make for one of the most awesome synergies in the game.
  19. I thought that if you don't count the farms AE is balanced because it's so easy to make custom mobs that can wipe out even players that are IOed out to solo normal AVs. At least that was my experience when AE was first released. Haven't played it in a bit but aren't custom mobs still readily made to be overpowered?
  20. My problem is I never used Psi Scream before nor Mental Blast either and feel like now I have to have both in order to stay anywhere near the damage PSW used to do so I've had to give up Total Domination and Mass Hypnosis to fit them in my build. The result has been less than desirable though cause now it's like I've given up too much control. The right balance is still elusive.

Would love to see some more people post their new builds or suggestions for Psi Assault post I15.
  21. The problem with Task and Strike Forces is that they have some of the best content in the game but since they require you to team and most teams are driven to complete the arc as fast as possible, you never get to slow down and actually enjoy the content. Even if they don't Stealth it teams will still mostly steamroll over everything and it can seemingly never go as slowly as it could solo.
  22. As a PB I find myself in human form a lot between fights so I can heal, increase hit points, and click Build Up and Hasten, so having Stamina does help recover endurance quicker.
  23. Yeah it loads great and was fun to read. When's the next one coming out?
  24. I must have relied too much on PSW cause now my Dom just doesn't seem to kill nearly as quickly and suddenly can't solo tough mobs on the two highest difficulty settings anymore. Haven't really noticed the end issue yet but the damage sure seems less than it was.
  25. [ QUOTE ]
    What happens after 37?

[/ QUOTE ] PSW becomes available at 38, an occasion that was once marked by joyous dancing in the streets and ritual exchanges of fruit and other goodies by Psi Doms everywhere. Now it's probably gonna be kind of just another level.

Thanks for all the suggestions and encouragement on this thread. I did go ahead and respec my Dom into the following build in order to better take advantage of the new emphasis on single target damage but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
