Mind/ Concerns

Anyone else able to help me get to the bottom of this? I'm used to Confuse stacking with itself. It seems to work fine on lieutenants and minions right now, but if I try to stack it up on a boss, it doesn't do anything. I've worn this three times now, and I'm wondering if I'm dealing with a fruity type of boss or something.

I don't remember longbow wardens having extra mez protection unless they're the forcefielding kind (which are rare - I only remember seeing something like that out in the wilds of Grandville).

So, any nearby Mind/ doms able to throw a confuse on some boss or other and see if it works or not?

Hm... I might have noticed some weirdness but I chalked it up to Cimeroran mez protection so I didn't really pay attention. I removed Confuse from my powers tray a few ITFs ago and haven't been using it since. Mass Confusion seems to work fine though but I mostly use that when Domination is up so again the observation is probably skewed.

It seems to only be kicking me on Longbow commanders, which I never really saw as being mez protected before.

Oh well, probably nothing as big a deal as I thought.

Longbow commanders have a leadership type of toggle which grants them confuse resistance. This is why it's hard to stack it enough to affect them.

Yeah it's always been this way. I usually conf stack until I finally get a moment of Confuse on then and then start holding and confusing until they hold and detoggle. Once their Tactics drop they become normal

Yeah the Wardens have always been tough to confuse, which is what makes it really sweet when you get your Domination bar full and then they are pushovers.

You won't be able to confuse the Longbow Commanders that have the Leadership toggles with one application of confuse even in Domination. I don't know how many times I've used Mass Confusion on a mob in the LRSF and have it do nothing.

Those are the Commanders mentioned earlier.

As others have mentioned, Longbow Commanders run Tactics which grants them (and their allies) confuse protection and resistance.

Talen if I remember from your past posts, your a Mind/Nrg right? Does this have the same effect when you use power boost and try to spam confuse on the boss's?

I need to test it on my Mind/nrg to see.
