  2. Actually, Rajani Isa said that.
I used to do it too, though.

hmm.... Are you aware that Fitness is now inherent? All new characters (and any old ones that you respec) get Swift, Hurdle, Health and Stamina automatically at level two.

I think they will only talk to people in their level range. At 50, the only one that will talk to you is Ghost Falcon in Peregrine Island. Of course, as mentioned, there are multiple SO sellers that don't require you to do a mission in order to buy from them.

    Money talks.
Sadly, Congress is structurally corrupt. As an example, did you know that if you get caught engaging in insider trading, it can pretty much trash your life. If a member of Congress does the same thing, it's not illegal for them. Nice, huh?

And whether or not we agree with the devs they have made it clear they have no intention on running that script again any time in the near future.
    <shrug>
Yes, I know all these things.
    I still think it's a good idea.
And the devs have previously changed their minds about their intentions.

Ah, but it's your OPINION that it's a bad idea.
There is no objective metric that determines the quality of the idea.

Fair enough, but some people do not build their tanks to 'tank'. Sometimes people want to have a melee fighter that's tougher than a scrapper. If they're built for fighting, and not tanking, then tanking IS NOT THEIR PURPOSE.

I hope no player with even half a brain buys into this line of bull.
Man... just a dozen kinds of stupid in that post.

You could make it look like one big one if you have them overlap. My main base has two Orbits of Control back-to-back and overlapping.

Yep. I have several coalitions for that purpose. I have 3 SG's on Infinity with full sets of teleporters in each.

    You want 3 LBW2 and 5 other gladiators. That gives you 3 healers hitting 8 targets: 3 x 8 = 24. Your example gives 2 x 11 = 22 - approximately 8% less effective.

Got what merit? Rogues (and Vigilantes) can not earn Alignment Merits.
  12. Or just before you zone. I usually activate offensive toggles just before zoning since offensive toggles will root you and zoning will let you cut that short.

    I'll correct you.
Arena heal farming works just fine.

Regarding Destiny, I HEAR that it's actually quite fast. I've never done it myself, though.

    Apparently not.

While I generally voice strong opposition in threads like this one, I don't see a problem here. Any account that hasn't been touched in over 5 years probably should be fair game. Realistically, the majority of people wouldn't even be able to dig up their original account ID and password (or their serial codes, etc).

I really think they were just using "Iron Blade" as a description based on the fact that according to mythology Iron weapons do more damage to certain creatures.
Clearly not. If it was just a description, it would not be capitalized. It's a proper name.
  16. Yeah, it's WAY messed up. I can understand some odd positions if someone gets blasted 40 ft and slams into a wall. However, when Malaise leaves his body in the signature arc, his body looks like someone crumpled it up and stomped on it. It's hideous.
  17. I haven't soloed the villain one yet (ran it on a team of seven) so I haven't had time to scrutinize it. I have soled the hero version. My only issue is one that you noted: the 'name' enemies are complete wusses. Wade was the only challenging fight. To be fair, I was soloing it on a purpled, incarnated scrapper so that might not be a good yardstick. When I did the villain one on a team of seven, we expected to see AV's. Why didn't we have AV's? They can downgrade to EB's for soloers or small teams, but a team of 7 should have AV's.

Aside from the 'challenge' level of the enemies, I don't agree with the rest of your comments. I think the writing was stellar and the cutscene at the end was outstanding.

I never said I couldn't understand how it might happen. I said it was ridiculous to structure your build around such an event as if it were a common occurrence.

Basically, that seems a good plan. I have an empathy defender that I play at low levels a lot and I did a slight variation on that. I slotted a few powers with level 25 enhancements, a few with level 30's and a few with level 35's.

I figured out which bonuses I really wanted to keep at lower level (recharge and heal bonuses) and which ones I didn't actually need until later (extra recovery - since I have less powers at low levels).

Obviously you're keen on making assumptions to support your arguments. I seem to understand the situation better than you, but it doesn't lead to the certainty and inescapable conclusions you espouse. You seemed to be claiming that you need to plan your build around being completely immobilized when that is actually a rare occurence.

I think you've missed the point. That name is trite and cliche. When we get the darkness control set, the servers will be awash in characters named Dark Lord, Dark Prince, Lord of Darkness, Dark Master, etc, etc. A name like Arbiter Death is really only suitable for a joke character. Now, to be fair, I do make joke characters. I have already grabbed the name 'Dark Lord Darkness'.

Gulzow, on the other hand, is unique. It tells you instantly that you're dealing with a specific person (or someone deliberately copying their name).
