The first time I read this, I thought, "What? Why would we be fighting unicorns???" Then I went back and read it again. "Oh, the Orson Welles robot in the movie."

And maybe you should calm down a bit. It's not their job to tell you shortcuts. Basically, you're asking the support staff to tell you game tips? Talk about audacity.

I'll admit, though, he should have said, "Your best bet would be to ask (politely) on the forums."

    Dumb IO question

I use SO's until I can slot level 35 enhancements. Then I craft set IO's and keep them forever, adding additional IO's as I level. I find the planning and crafting a bit time-consuming so I only want to do it once per toon.

    Chest Detail Bug

Can you give us some more info?
    1) Is this on your characters AND other characters you see?
    2) Is it all of your characters?
    3) Can you post a screenshot? (This requires hosting the pic elsewhere and linking to it - you can't upload pics to the forums.)
  6. I haven't seen one in months.
    And I'm:
    1) Online a lot.
    2) Attentive.

I'd like to try one some day. I have not done one in the 'new format'. I did the old Hami plenty, including lead taunt.
  7. How many level 50's are you attempting to 'become an incarnate'?
That covers a lot of ground. I have twenty 50's and I have unlocked the Alpha slot on every one of them so that they are ABLE to get shard drops. Most of them are retired, but I want them to be able to get drops if I ever play them - just like I get Member of Vanguard on every single toon.

My main/badger will be getting everything. No matter how long it takes.
I have the level shift on a /rad and a tank. I plan to get the shift on a couple more tanks. Unless an upcoming slot has something particularly useful to those toons, I don't expect to get any more incarnate stuff on any of them.

Do you feel that doing more than say one hero and one villain is doing 'too much at once'?
    Nope.

Do you feel a shift has occured to more time devoted soley to level 50's leaving far less time to level an alt?
Absolutely, but I wouldn't phrase it that way.
"Are SOME people spending a lot more time on their 50's?" Yes, they are - by choice.

Do you feel this is a good thing?
Neither good nor bad. It's the player's individual choice.

Do you seem to not have enough time to devote to alt characters because you feel you need to be collecting shards and such?
I have as much time as I choose for each toon. I chose to run the Kahn TF 25 times while it was the WST. Tonight, the first night of a new WST, I spent the evening playing a level 39 stalker.

Do you think changing the Weekly Task Force to a Bi-montly Task Force would be 'better'? Perhaps offering a more relaxed atmosphere for the playerbase?
umm..... yes, but not for that reason. If each WST only lasts one week, we're going to run out of strike forces pretty fast.

Yeah, this is about par for the course. Too little incarnate content.... too much incarnate content.... You really can't make everyone happy.

Not that I've ever noticed. Aside from the King, it's all smashing and electric. Now, the standard-looking clockwork in the Lady Grey TF are a different story....

And those two are the largest by some margin. Also, Virtue is the main RP destination and I think Freedom is where a lot of the PvP'ers went. However, not everyone likes a crowded server, and they can indeed seem crowded at times.

You keep using the word "epic" incorrectly in relation to Peacebringers.

    from dictionary.reference.com
    1. noting or pertaining to a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style: Homer's Iliad is an epic poem.
    2. resembling or suggesting such poetry: an epic novel on the founding of the country.
    3. heroic; majestic; impressively great: the epic events of the war.
    4. of unusually great size or extent: a crime wave of epic proportions.

Despite already having been corrected on this matter, you keep using definitions 3 or 4 in regard to the 'epic' archetypes. The correct definition would be 1 or 2. The phrase "epic archetype" means Khelds are part of an epic story line; it is not saying that the AT itself is great or majestic.

eh, it's not a big deal at all. My ice/SS tank is barely inconvenienced by it. I pay more attention to the -damage so I don't waste any big attacks.

You don't, because it's a waste of limited resources. You only have so many slots for whatever sets will benefit you. Starting from a position of 0 def and 0 resistance and trying to get significant numbers will gimp other aspects of your character.

I tanked the Mother Mayhem mission on my invuln without dying once. That's an entire map of psi enemies. If Dull Pain wasn't up, I used a single medium purple insp to keep the incoming damage at a reasonable level. By the time it was running out, I had either gotten another or gotten 3 of something else I could combine. Please note, my invuln has over 300% regen so when Dull Pain caps his hit points, the regen rate has a big impact. My thinking was that +regen works against *ALL* damage. And it works very well indeed.

Actually, they apparently are. You can get MULTIPLE shards from a single enemy defeat and it is not like Vanguard Merits where you get a fixed number based on rank.

Well how about because it makes no sense. Since this whole thing with leaving the pylons up started I have lost count of the number of LGFTs I have done where this tactic was used and it didn't stop Hami from attacking the team at all. Someone somehow got the idea in their head that leaving those Pylons up HELPED the team survive more.
And someone somehow ACTUALLY TESTED IT AND DEMORECORDED IT. Have you actually done any testing with controlled circumstances or are you just jumping on the bandwagon and scoffing at the idea?

Sure, but you don't really need the 4th tier. The big benefit is the level shift and you get that with the 3rd tier. If you really must have the 4th tier, then expect to pay some dues for it. I have the 4th tier on one toon - mainly because it has a badge that comes with it.

It's certainly not an annoyance to me. The voids and quantums aren't particularly dangerous (except to a kheld). As for the cysts, I WELCOME them. I see them so rarely that it's exciting when we run into one. Seriously, my PB is level 37 and I think I've seen two cysts so far. They spawn so much less often than voids and quantums.

  25. I'm proud that I *DO* have a farm toon. I hardly ever farm, because I find it boring, but I wanted to see what it was like and try it. This game has tremendous variety available. I also have concept builds. I have two catgirls. I have purpled toons. I have toons using only SO's.
