As for the +1 level shift, that would be nice, but it's not essential. I got the Master badges for both of these TF's before the level shift existed.
Anyway, I'll be there. Since we already have a tank and a rad, I'll bring Ironblade. My only toons with the level shift are a tank, a rad and Ironblade.

It's a bit unfortunate that this group is going to default to whatever the WST is. I was really enjoying levelling lowbies through the TFs in level sequence, which looks like it will be a thing of the past.
With all the focus on level 50 content because of the new shiny Incarnate stuff, I was glad to see that lower level TF & SFs were included in the rotation - but it also looks like that won't happen with enough regularity to level up characters.
I know that the decision is up to Ms. Cats, but I jut wanted to point out that getting the WST for any given week is going to be easy at any time during the week, while getting a non-WST will be all the more difficult.
I don't know if I will be in town next Saturday, but if I am, I will have to bring either Maurya or Brighid, since they are the only Incarnates I have.

I understand what you are saying.. you want tf's for your lowbie toons. That will happen. I was really doing this to give everyone, including myself, the opportunity to get the incarnate components for their current level 50 toons.
I can't play the game much, if at all, during the week, so Friday nights and Saturdays are the only time I can get those components on one toon. If folks want to run the low-level tf's rather than the WST, that's fine with me. I am not a dictator... I run these events for you guys.
I guess I'll be there with something that's laying around.

Especially, b/c the devs have hinted that - in the future - shards will drop for 50's even while exemped down. So someone who wants to get shards will be able to run a lowbie TF to get them. But right now, the WST is the best way to kit out your alpha-enabled toons.
And while we're on the subject, I really want to express my appreciation to you MsCats, for putting these thing together every Saturday. It makes planning a toon's progression much easier when you know in advance that you'll be able to run a particular TF.

Thanks for making the statement that we will be returning to some other system of choosing TFs instead of just relying on whatever the WST is for the particular week.
I also appreciate you running these Ms.Cats, I just wanted to start a bit of discussion wbout where you thought the Saturday TFs were headed.

Can someone clarify just how "alpha" you need to be for this TF? I thought the slot just had to be opened (and if you have it filled, that's great, even if only with a common).

In order to do the TF, you need to have unlocked your alpha slot. However, if you have you slot unlocked, but have nothing in it, you will be level-shifted down by 4 levels. (Emperor Cole's got some ray gun thingy that does that. Somehow.) You'll still have powers, hitpoints, etc as a level 50, but your combat level will only be 46.

Having any Alpha enhancement slotted is enough to avoid the -4 level debuff, even if it's a Tier 1 (Common). Tier 3 (Rare) and Tier 4 (Very Rare) provide a +1 level shift; handy to have, but certainly not needed for Apex.
I can bring either a brute or a corrupter. Not sure who yet. Both have either a rare or very rare slotted.
