Quote:And the books' author is delighted by this. She likes being able to watch the show and not know what's going to happen next. There is very little in common with the book and the TV series. The first season seems to be the only one where they followed the book at all. Lafayette's role has changed quite significantly, Tara has a rather minor role, Tommy doesn't exist, and the Queen of Louisiana had a longer role in the books.

Yup, Jason's getting kitty cat'd, and Eric is all "Who am I?"
The witch lady is certainly proving to be "goofy evil." -
I'm all for making them account wide. Please make it happen, devs.

Isn't it to just get all the badges for it, like the first two trials?
-
Didn't Supes and Cap have a lovechild and name him Statesman?

I didn't expect to successfully complete the new Keyes trial in the first week of it going live, much less the first day, but there I was this morning, with my Brute showing off the Keyes Technician badge after my first try! And I had no previous experience with the trial from beta, and neither did most of the league.
Really, the trial sounds complicated, but like all the trials, if you just follow directions and stay on task, it's pretty simple. We took down Anti-Matter with less than 2 minutes on the clock, and it was all a lot of fun.
Thanks Paragon! -
Yeah, the whole Tara-is-a-lesbian-MMA-fighter thing is completely new on me. I have enough faith in the show to give this story thread a chance. Hopefully it be for more than just titillation.

Quote:Well, remember at the end of last season he got into a fight with Queen Sophie Anne. It's possible he killed her and took over. Though I somehow doubt it was that simple.
- I'm curious if Bill's investigations and such from the books played into his become the king, but I'm glad it looks like we'll get a flashback episode explaining this transition; I just hope we don't divert too much from what's going on now to explain what happened in the missing year.

I like him as an actor. Outside of SVU, he's a pretty funny guy, too. I wonder who he will play. Metallo? Brainiac?

Well, what'd y'all think of the season premiere? A lot of developments and twists. I kinda saw the last surprise from a mile away, but it looks like it'll lead to some fun situations.
Anyone else get a Legend (the Tom Cruise movie) vibe from those faeries? XD -
The Princess Bride is what I'll always remember him for. RIP Mr Falk.

Ascension armor, here I come!

I have to second Werewolf, and Cave Dwellers. Those ones had me rolling on the floor laughing the first time I watched them.

I'd keep my Brute on Virtue for certain. Beyond that it'd be like Sophie's Choice!

And lo, did plans for a pilgrimage to the D&D nerd idol commence!

Wow, beautiful. Where'd you get these, GG?

Okay, I just don't understand the idea of cutting off MMs and Trollers, or any basic ATs at all. I'll be a VIP so it won't affect me personally, but the concept is baffling to me. Logically I would leave all 10 basics and just keep the epics for VIPs/Premiums.
-
The f2p page says free and premium players will only get access to 8 archetypes. I can understand keeping the epics to VIPs, but.... there's 10 basic ATs!
Just what basic ATs are getting cut? No tankers? No dominators? What ATs can they deny to free players and get away with it? -
After seing the Head-Squid Seers, I hereby rename First Ward as "Ravenholme."
......
Nobody goes there anymore....

Pretty logical assumption. The aliens could be more like the Covenant in Halo, with different species united under one banner. They could be taking the children to indoctrinate them as new members, since the adults may not be suitable.
