Hello all. I just want to check and see if I've got a bug on my account or if I misunderstood something somewhere. (I'm leaning toward me misunderstanding something.)
So before I had gone premium, I had used 7 extra slots on my home server and had 4 global slots left unused. My understanding had been that I would have those plus the 2 global that all non-paying accounts have. When I check I have the 7 server slots on my home server as I half expected plus the 4 unused global.
Was I wrong to expect the "starter" globals or does my account have an issue I should pursue? -
Ok, in a few hours I'm losing my VIP status. But naturally I don't want to decide which toons to have and have not, so I'm wondering...
I have 14 transfers stocked up (Bought some at Freedom launch), and I'm hoping that I can use some of them to help me play as I want for a bit yet. I expect I'll have 13 global sots to play with if I'm understanding everything correctly. So my question is thus.
If I unlock an empty slot on sever A, can I transfer a toon from a locked slot on server B to the empty slot on server A?
All answers appreciated! -
Ok first off congratulations on finding an SG/coalition that fits your preferred playstyle. My advice would be to simply ask your SG leader. I promise you he has heard the request before and already has an answer.
Will your 2nd account be VIP? Currently only VIPs can create a SG, pay rent, or edit the base. In addition you presently have to have at least 1 Paragon rewards token before you can join an SG on live. (i23 will let free players join SGs, but there is no info I know of about whether they can create, edit, or pay rent.) -
Well, since you're on the forums, yes.
Go to your server's forums and post there. Also don't forget to mention if you are a hero or a villain.

However, they CAN buy prestige for the SG.

Quick thought about Warburg echo. Perhaps instead of being accessed through Oro it could be via Arena terminal instead? This would help minimize any back end issues with the 2 separate Oros.

Please note that this thread contains spoilers from the Who Will Die SSAs. If you want to preserve the surprise please stop reading now.
Ok so I've gotten curious. By the end of WWD, Warburg had been taken over twice. Once by Longbow and once by Malta. All of it's missles were fired at Wade's island to take down his shields. Oh and Marshall Blitz is off-site. (Captured and freed by unknown forces.)
Warburg would seem to be in a state of limbo, so some questions occurred to me.
In no particular order..
1. Will Warburg get a zone makeover?
2. Will we still be able to get the temp powers? (Side discussion on the badge for firing the rockets 10 times.)
3. Will we get the repeatable missions removed or revamped?
4. Who should control Warburg?
5. Will Warburg be removed entirely?
6. Will Warburg's free for all (yet still factional) PvP setup be revamped?
7. If Warburg is removed, will there/can there be an echo? (Not certain of the point of removal if there's an echo, but I'm kinda sleepy.)
Ok that's all I can muster just now. Time will tell if I've managed to find a topic of interest or not. Please feel free to discuss.

Probably depends on where you intend to use it most. If I recall correctly, the chance to hold isn't high enough magnitude to hold bosses. So if you are doing mostly trials with their higher ratio of bosses, you will get less benefit from that. Just food for thought.
Cones can be plenty effective by the way, but yes they do require positioning. This is much less of an issue if the toon is already using cones on a regular basis. Sonic Blast has 3 cones in it for example. By the time you get to level 50 using that set, positioning should be second nature. -
Yeah gotta echo the Bots/FF MM comments. During a Rikti invasion you need JUST enough effort to keep the game from logging you out. Unless you invested in Task/Strike Force mode, in which case, feel free to use your sleep aid medications responsibly.

Victory. The only server with it's own emote.
'nuff said. -
76) Have him "man" the complaint desk at city hall. Bonus points for having the dead parrot sketch playing somewhere in the background..

I have a variant of the OP's question. Do Catalysts drop from their own pool or do they affect the drop rates of anything else?

First off, welcome to the game! Another thought on addressing your knockback issues is the lowly breakfree inspiration. Breakfrees protect from knockback. But of course your inspiration tray is valuable so I have an alternative storage idea. Email your global name however many breakfrees you want up to the limit. Any level 10 character can send emails.
Additional ways to store inspirations include SG storage racks and auction slots. -
Thanks Hyperstrike. I didn't know that about Disk Cleanup. Yeah anything to do with registry should raise a caution flag. Which is why I recommended a specific tool, CCleaner, for it as I have used it personally on a number of systems. Doesn't make it perfect of course, but I'm giving the best advice I'm able.
-
Also please don't forget that a simpler solution may at least help. Running Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter may actually help. After that run whatever antispyware you may have and perhaps a registry cleaner such as the one found in CCleaner. Not saying it will cure everything, but it may help.

I want a platypus vanity pet that despawns when you enter a mission and respawns when you exit!

Quote:Redside has always had a much lower population than blueside. Then you add in that many players just avoid DFB and you get our current situation. Playtimes as always, add to the challenges. In many ways it seems easier to find an iTrial on our server, but then those are co-op.Every time I log a villain in on Victory, NOBODY is running DFB on red side! If I try to form one, nobody's around to help get the team started. Do folks on Victory just avoid red side like the plague? Its really frustrating!
For myself, I MIGHT do DFB over the current 1-5 content, but it's a matter of convenience. More than one and I could easily miss the AP mayhem and that ain't gonna happen.
For the folks I mentor in this game I advise them to avoid it and get the better learning offered in the regular game. When they have a few months under their belt, then they can make their choice. -

Quote:I don't like to be disagreeable, but I believe this is incorrect. My understanding is that it won't be moved on again until February. Quite different from dead. My preferred source for news on SOPA/PIPA is torrentfreak, which has already been referenced in this thread.Recent developments: The Whitehouse is against it, the House won't move on it, and two Senators who were once for it, one of whom was the sponsor, has withdrawn their support.
It's dead. A similar bill died last congressional session. It's pretty darned unlikely it will be attempted again this year.
No offense at all intended to Zombie Man. But with all due respect, I will put torrentfreak's take on this bills status over his. -

It might also be worth noting that it isn't always the SG leader being the demanding one. As an SG leader, I can get called away by members as well. Now if I have an announced SG function, I might send them a reminder, but wouldn't insist that they drop whatever they happen to be doing at the moment.

Ok, so after apparently stumping the forums, I decided to just go find out. Short answer is yes, a hero can apparently buy prestige for a VG.
Long answer has a story that has my fiancee laughing maniacally in my direction. Seems while I was in the interface I looked away and clicked. So yeah... I spent 1.908 Billion on this experiment in one shot..... -
Hi all. So my badger went to blueside some time ago without quitting her VG. I know I can't earn prestige, but can it be bought?
