Regarding the loaded up salvage rack, I'd just convert a bit at a time as needed. Since the 30 item rack nerf, you won't have that much salvage on one rack again.
Also, you can obtain people's globals from the supergroup listing. Rt-Click on a name, and use the "add a note" feature... the note will generate the toon name as the global, but the true global will show in your system spam in the chat window. You can then send a tell to their global, if you so desire. -
Quote:I'm also pretty sure this is where the confusion stems from. The confusion over I17 and Loyalty folks I think stems from the fact they moved UM and DS into I17 from GR. Thus some feel they should have special access to I17 since it now contains what was GR material.
GR was announced during HeroCon in October 2009. Ultra Mode was touted as being a big part of it.
Quote:Soon after UM was announced Posi (or another dev... I can't remember) said that they would try to get UM out before GR if they could, which means it IS NOT an exclusive to GR. This means when they test UM they do not have to go by the Loyalty Program.
Personally, I was interested in testing UM in "off" mode, since I have an older rig. I wanted to check if there was any crossover/interference with my current setup. I know they say there won't be, but that's what testing is for, right?(and, yes, I'll be upgrading, but not for a little while yet).
So, yes, there was some initial disappointment when I didn't get into the Closed Beta. But I accept that since it's part of i17 now, well, that's just the way the ol' ball bounces. -

Although they will gain weight once in a home environment, they

Cheers!
True this.
A low-carb, grain-free diet will keep a dog trim & muscular. It is, after all, their natural diet.
A dog's digestive system can handle small amounts of grains, but unfortunately, a lot of commercial pet foods have excessive amounts of grain, which can lead to various problems ranging from skin allergies to pancreatic issues.
Personally, I feed a diet of raw meats, bones & organs to my furry carnivores (the dog will occasionally get veggies). For folks who prefer to feed commercial diets, I always recommend looking for the "grain-free" statement on the label. -

Comparing the center bit of the head, that second pic is different than the first (prolly a slight angle diff) -
They should stack according to the duration of the shooting power that you are using.
For instance: I would use the cryo ammo with my Suppresion shot which would last 16 seconds (slotted for hold duration). Once hit with cryo Suppression, I'd switch to toxic/chem for Dual Pistol shot for a quick debuff. Then switch to incind for Bullet rain for a nice peppering of DoT. This was all easily accomplished within the 16 second hold that suppression gave me.
The recharge/delay is not for switching from one ammo type to another, but rather for switching back to the first one used. Each ammo has a 4 second recharge. Once selected, the recharge begins. So if you choose an ammo type and use it for 2 seconds, then switch to another type, you will have 2 seconds before you can switch back to the first one again. (I hope that made sense). -

There is still the matter of the clipping of the fur on one side, and the odd dimple in the back. -

Thank you Vox Doom and FW for the clarification on Daddy Long Legs venom. I was going off a vague memory, my apologies.
For the record, I do not call flying insects "daddy long legs". When I mentioned "Daddy Long Legs" I was specifically referring to the arachnid.
Also, I never said they were harmful to humans. I've know since I was a child that they were harmless, allowing the featherlight critters to crawl over me whenever I came across one.
In general, I leave the arachnids alone, unless a dangerous one comes into the house. Since I have small furry animals in the house, venomous spiders (widows) are not allowed. However, they are more than welcome to the feast of crickets, ants, and cockroaches outside (though, I do sweep the webs from our patio furniture and bbq grill). -
Dear Mr. Sexah Jay,
I love the Magic Bolero. It is so nice for a touch of class and elegance. So imagine my consternation when I noticed a few flaws with the sleeve trim and the fur, and an odd dimple in the back. Please pardon the large pictures.
I do realize you are most likely quite busy with the new releases coming down the pike, but if you (or perhaps one of your sweat shop minions) could take a gander at what is causing these discrepancies, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only appreciative one.
Thank you ever so much, my dear. -

Quote:Widows are also blind. They rely on the vibrations of their webs to tell them where their prey is. This is why they are also shy and reclusive, preferring to lie in wait for their prey as opposed to actively hunting for it. Widows rarely bite unless they are physically disturbed or assaulted.oh, btw, widows quickly become an infestation if you're not careful, had rain drive them into my apartment once a few years back.....REALLLY fun time cleaning the apartment after a friend of mine found five widows and egg sacks on a suitcase of mine (had to throw it out)
Their bite is venomous, but not as deadly to humans as rumored (though can be quite dangerous for small animals). In actuality, Daddy Long Legs have a more powerful bite when percentage of venom is compared (though Daddy Long Legs are generally considered harmless to humans... something about how they are unable to puncture our skin, if I recall). -
One of my favorite websites was started as an art project... photographing insects: What's that Bug? It soon became an incredible source for insect identification, as people from around the world submitted their own pictures of all kinds of bugs; moths, beetles, caterpillars, wasps... you name it. The Arachnid pages are quite extensive. And they even have a page dedicated to Unnecessary Carnage.

Quoting OP from another thread to show that OP says the exact opposite of what he's complaining about in this thread.
Snarky and dismissive comment about the OP being inconsistent and likening him to a creature that lives under a bridge and eats goats. -
I would like to chime in with Samuel here.
The beauty of this game is its customization. Beginning with the character creator, to choosing missions & difficulty levels, to "tricking out" your powers with cool enhancements... YOU get to choose your path(s).
Unlike many other MMO's, CoH is not exactly "loot" based, at least not in the same way that you might be used to. The "loot" (salvage) you pick up is intended for use in crafting enhancements for your powers (or you can sell it). ANYONE can make nearly any kind of enhancement that they may need or want. You are not necessarily strapped to grinding for that one special piece of loot.
There are several ways to aquire any recipe or salvage that you may find yourself in need or want of. When you have the time and inclination, you will want to become familiar with the Auction House (Wentworth's), the merit system, and the AE ticket system... They each provide different methods for obtaining enhancement recipes and salvage.
A couple more tips:
-- Join the most active global chat channel for your server. You can usually find out what that channel is by asking in the server forums.
-- Pwiki is your friend. I have several pages bookmarked, and often have it up in the background while I'm playing.
-- Mid's Hero Planner is your friend. I wish someone had pointed me to this fabulous little program early on. Could have saved me some grief in planning my powers on some of my characters.
Welcome to the game and good hunting! -
Quote:The Shoji Wall Lamps allow stacking of wall items, and, with careful effort, you can stack things diagonally on their corners.
You can also use the round wall lights. They have a 45 degree adjustment built into them (once you place them, they can be angled). So, you can place your wall light, angle it, and stack another wall item on it at the adjusted angle. As far as I know, it only works for wall items.
That being said, I would love if all items had a 45 degree adjustment, it would at the very least make putting chairs around a circular table more realistic (among many other very useful applications). But, honestly, I am not holding my breath for base love. And, considering the "love" our salvage capacity received over a year ago, I'm cautious about wishing. -
There are also times when you might hear the glowie through walls if two rooms are close enough together, but separated by walls (ie, the path to the other room might be a bit of a maze to get to).
However, since it seems that this is a very particular mission that others are more familiar with, I'd give their advise a bit more weight on the matter. -
I seriously doubt they will implement a transaction fee. It's not just influence that will be attachable... it's ANYTHING THAT CAN BE TRADED (recipes, salvage, brainstorms).

Uhhhmmm... I didn't see anything referencing a fee for attachments to global e-mails. As far as I can tell, they are being treated the same as a straight trade. How do you figure the 10% for cross-server transfer?
