Can't find notebook

It will be in a 'glowie' - usually a desk. It pulses with light, and makes a 'whommmm whommmm' sound. Click the glowie to 'find' the notebook.

Coming in the next free update to the game (Issue 17 in April) will be a feature that makes glowies easier to find if they're the last objective in your mission, so don't despair if you have difficulty with these (finding the last glowie is a classic frustration).

I can't find any glowing desks. The only one I found was the one with the key in it, and I can't seem to find any others. I've searched for a while, even on top of the containment cans. Are there any doors I might have missed?

Edit: Great! That update sounds like it will help. In the mean time, I'll put that mission on hold.

Most instanced missions are randomly generated. There is no way to tell what your map layout is, sorry. I recommend turning your volume up, and retracing your steps.

Not likely. It could be a box, a crate, or some other object. If you have your sound on, it will make a pulsing <Woooom Woooom> sound when you get close to it. The closer you get, the louder it will be. For that mission, in the big room with all of the large containers in it, check behind the containers, as there are some pockets back there where the object might be.

If you found one with a key in it, that means the key opens a door. Look around for a big metal garage door and click. The object with the notebook will be somewhere in the new section.

Agree with Lemur Lad. You found a key, which may now open a large floor-to-ceiling metal door.

Look at your map display. Is there an area which you haven't explored, but is blocked by a door?

Also, you can drop a mission every three days for full rewards. Talk to the original contact to do so.

That notebook is usually in a small cardboard box behind the containers on your left when you enter a large kind of open room with another room on the right, and straight ahead it will dead end. This room has a roll up door. Please note that both this bigger room and the slightly smaller one off to the right will probably need to be cleared (they are both "one room" according to the game).

On occasion you might find that even though the text says to find an object, the mission is really a kill all or a kill the boss and those in the room with him/her.

There are also times when you might hear the glowie through walls if two rooms are close enough together, but separated by walls (ie, the path to the other room might be a bit of a maze to get to).

However, since it seems that this is a very particular mission that others are more familiar with, I'd give their advise a bit more weight on the matter.

Also, once you find the key, a yellow star on your map should indicate the location of the door it opens. Check your map to verify if you've found and opened the correct door. Some of these warehouse maps have multiple doors, some of which may not require a key to pass.

Yeah, it's the Dyne lab map.
