By you're logic, then the correct form of english would be "txt" speak as it is more recent than American. Honestly, I've overheared sombody saying "lol". Almost made me want to club him to death.

When I hear 'Pants' I think of toddlers underwear. Step AWAY from Her Majesty's English GG.

Make me
Anyway, I think there are more people in the world that use it our way, because we have a bigger cultural reach right now - like movies and music, which non-Americans can get American spelling and words from.
So pants, shorts and briefs in that order of shortness
[/ QUOTE ]
I think, seeing as though you can read and understand what I am typing, that Great Britain has had the bigger cultural reach in History's grand scheme of things - don't you?
[/ QUOTE ]
In that case, American words and spelling are correct, as they're the most recent form of English
[/ QUOTE ]
Now that you're grammer has been corrected let me say I fail to see your logic there old boy. *puffs on ye olde pipe* -
My original character, Imoba Strife the Martial Arts/Reflex scrapper on Union has just been "Replaced" in these few recent days by Imoba Strife a Katana/Willpower Scrapper of the exact same apearence but in the Defiant dimention.
I love my original character to bits, and I'm realy just looking at this new version of him as a "What if" alternative. now he's made it past the lvl22 mark I'm truely suprised at how much [censored] he kicks, he does a much better job than his original self -
Blast you Vladamir Harkonen for flounting your BETA access to us mere mortals who have yet to get in! *checks email again*

It's all about play style. If you love to charge right and get stuck in to the fight without care or thought, then you're going to get debt. If you take care, fight a bit slower, and use tactics instead of brute force, then you won't get debt.
[/ QUOTE ]
Tell that to a brute
I do miss old debt, It used to make me run away from fights that were going south (with varying degrees of success) through fear of being lumbered with even yet more debt (early Imoba was not the best of survivors that he is today).
I feel especialy foolish as I oly recently realised the secret to blaster survivability lies in clinging to the cieling (via hover), though this was because I hated hover because it was so slow. Not so anymore
*Super Edit*
[ QUOTE ]
EDIT: I also have a fire/ice blaster at level 50 who doesn't have any debt badges either! To me, it's a "badge" of honour!
[/ QUOTE ]
oooh congratulations sir! Suddenly I feel obligated to match your success with my blaster(s). It shall truely be an accolade to hold close to my chest with pride should i succeed! -
I swear this has been suggested before maybe a year ago.
I liked it then and I like it now -
My office belt has come back to me? *Glee!*
I must don it at once! *flees to do so* -

ah but thats why I said "make it optional".
[/ QUOTE ]
If you make it optional, who would opt in? There's no benifit to opting in, so why would you? Either make it so you got no choice or make some pretty big incentive for opting in. -
Welcome to the game and forums. I suggest you take a quick glance at this post listing a few of the things that get suggested a few thousand times a year.

I never noticed that green/blue border, I'll have to look carefully next time I log in.
And yes, that was a silly idea of theirs *roll eyes* -
Ok, I've decided I'll dump my mirriad of costumes on you guys and see what you lot think.
Imoba Strife: As seen in Union as a Martial Artist and in Defiant as a Katana Scrapper.
Jacen Strife: Union Thug Mastermind. I plan on rerolling him as dual pistols when that set comes out.
Furious Strife: Union Axe Brute. This giant originally had wings, but i had trouble seeing past him with them.
Arctic Strife: Union ice Blaster. Can't see his scalf in this image though.
Malhavoc: What, a character not called strife?!Union AR Blaster.
Arondight: Union Sword and Shield Scrapper. Caution, may explode when excited, scared, happy or bored.
Valiant Red: Union, somthing just tickled me when I thuaght up a Stalker called Valiant who dresses in bright red clothing, real inconspicous.
Adra: Defiant Dark Defender. My newest cahracter. How do you like how I managed to get the "Shadowed Face" look?
ok, thats enough from me (the few remaining costumes are full of suck anyway). -
Power customization sugestion No. 13725.3
I so wish it could happen, and hopfully it will. Just don't hold your breath. -
1) I think so but for the life of me I can't remember what the limit is
2) They've turned into yellow books
3) Lobster thermador with tartar sauce. mhmm mhmm! -

I've got toons that have never healed anyone but themselves and yet somehow have worked towards the badge to quite some extent. I no idea why.

I've noticed this on my Scrapper too, although I put it down to using the tempory power to repair the nuclear power plant core in the respec TF I once did. -

Personally I've always wondered how the (bleep) the masked people see throught the masks. Even if they're fairly see-through it's still a huge risk to limit your sight like that.

Here's the secret (and I'll whisper it because it's a touchy subject) *it's not real*.

I wouldnt say that I dont mind the lack in animation variety, more that I tolerate it. I always felt it stupid in WoW that if I fall 500ft to my death, my avatar did not go smash, but stood stock still for a second before doing the standard death animation.
Heck I'd be tickled if there where 2 death animations and the game picked one at random upon death. ofcourse thats just me aiming real low there. In an ideal word there would be a death animation for every situation.
But can you imagine the work load of the development teams? lots of diferent death animation for every type of critter in your game. It's no wonder they take the lazy option every time. -

Ok so:
/Selfdefeat
# Forces user to be defeated.
# 5 minute Cool-down timer.
# 30 second activation time (non-interrupt)
# Defeated user cannot be targeted.
# Perhaps "/cancel" can cancel the emote if accidently used?
# User incurs debt x2 when used.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just to add to this, long activation time, but you can still take damage in this time period just so theres no way of exploiting it, for instance, a tank about to die, uses the command and gets 30 secs hibernate style time
If it would help, it could be done like a logout box with a timer, and you can press a key to cancel or you will die at time up and auto teleport to hospital.
[/ QUOTE ]
this^ -
but that would mean they'd have to get sombody to do the voices, while I do like the idea and support it, I get the feeling that it's unlikley to happen.
-
If you go for an axe/ tank, you could call him:
Hue McHew
or
Huge Hue McHew

*speaks loudly at the sky*
It would sure be nice if some kind of representative of Paragon Studios would come and shed some light on this issue, so that all is made clear us, the players. Hint, hint. -
[ QUOTE ]
Allow mayhem/safeguard mission contacts you've outlevelled to still offer you that mission, and auto-exemp you for it - either that or make them available through Ouroboros - so players who want the explore badges from them don't feel bound to have to do the mayhem/safeguard every 5 levels.
