My best way to build a WP scrapper?
Well for a none BS or none Katana WP, I would be going for type defense. S/L/F/C/E/N be at 40% and above with 2300+ HP (with all accolades) 700+% regen. Kinetic Combat for S/L defense, Aegis for F/C defense and Eradication for E/N defense. Now add in Weave, Maneuvers and CJ along with the 2 +3 defense. 3 Numinas and 3 LotG would get you HP and Regen. Red zone the health on RttC.

Now for a Katana or BS / WP...
Going to use DA or Parry to cap out my melee (2 applications). So I'll be looking to cap my F/C/E/N defense. Gonna be going with pretty much the same sets here. Just gonna ignore the smashing hole I got and let my resists, HP and regen take care of that.

Well just hit 30. Picked up Maneuvers, and been running 1/6.
3 bars from 31 and a fully slotted Energy Drain... ;-)
Edit: Though I find myself needing a bit more accuracy against +2's
well got side tracked and joined a team... -
1. Claws/Regen - none stop slashing machine from 1-50
2. Claws/SR - none stop slashing mutant from 50 and above ;-)
3. Now this is a toughy. Could go either way - Fire/Shielder or my mini tank Claws/Inv...
And the craps of them all for me...

I wanted to fit in tough and weave as early as possible, so it was either spin or focus. I went with spin for the aoe it offers, though I did miss focus just last night on a mish full of tsoo. Those darn sorcs are a pain, put me down like 5 times on that mish. Probably gonna follow my plan on picking up manauvers at 30 as I don't see any problems with my endurance. Gonna see how far I could push EA with just SO's and regular IO's I find along the way (no sets not even the +3 defense).
side note:
Energy Drain takes so frickin long... I needs my heal now!!! -
Hit 29 myself...
Got nergy drain slotted with 2 recharge and a heal. Gonna go run a few mish and see if I need manauvers at 30 or pick up focus.
The ride here was indeed a bit harsh...

Energy Drain cost 13 endurance to use... waiting to use it with just 13 endurance left could drop all your toggles... ;-) -
Everything should be fine.
They can't have it too far off the scrappers number.. could they?
I'm just only starting to get a hang of this thing you guys call fury... and its some what starting to grow on me... ;-) -

Not for it's ridiculous ST or ridiculous AoE capabilty but rather somewhere in the middle for both -
Well finally got some playing time in and got mine to 23. Running 0/6 against Miners, freaks and bugs. Not much problem with freaks, a bit of a problem with the miners and spiders.

just hit 24... looks like gonna have a heavy diet of freaks. Gonna see if I could handle 0/8.
weave at 26 then energy drain at 28. Should be OK from there. -

It's not even worth the extra power pick. Grabbing CP before hand pretty much kills the need of the endurance recovery that PP offers, and you're gonna need a lot more to run FA.
My Claws/SR however would have this 3 slotted with Numinas (Heal - heal/end - heal/rech). -
Claws anything really... but since you narrowed it down to regen or WP, then I would go Claws/Regen.

Evis is really not that far off Slash on ST DPA. But like others had mentioned, if you're gonna drop something that would be the first to go. Shockwave is a keeper, I highly recommend it on any claws scrapper.

I usually use shockwave as an opener to bunch up the mobs.
Great attack against Cims and +4's.
I highly recomend it on any claws scrappers/brutes. -

Energy doesn't seem to be too bad for me. Got mine to 17 last night just huntin and runnin some mish. I'm following a build that will have s/l/f/c/e/n at around 25 defense at level 25. That will jump to 33 at level 30. And that build is purely SO.
Will post the build when I get a chance for anybody enterested. -

Working on my first "real" Brute on a Claws/Energy myself.
Was kinda lookin forward on a claws/stone also but come to find out the devs hate claws... ;-)
