Claws/Elec
The main question I have is, which claw attack should I drop?
Slash, Focus, or Eviscerate?
Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.
Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.
I want to say none of the above but if I had to choose, I'd say Evis. Focus and Slash are your best single target DPS in claws.
Level 50 is a journey, not a destination.
▲Scrapper Issues List - Going Rogue Edition▲
Evis or shockwave, you need all the others.
Claws do very well with just 5 attacks- spin, strike, Evis , follow up and focus
you will never find yourself with no attacks up
Evis will be the easiest to drop. Going with less single target attacks only works with high end recharge builds. Focus should never be on the list of attacks to drop.
I found Shockwave to be too situational. I hardly ever used it. I burned a respec to see how Evis would work out.
Pros: When it hits, wow!!
decent cone size
Cons: Animation time
only 5 targets.
But I am using it more then I was shockwave. And when I am grouping I am not KBing mobs away from my own AoE attacks and everyone elses.

Try something more like this.
Shockwave is BEYOND useful you just have to master how to use it. With CJ and Hurdle you can jump right above a mob and shockwave it creating a KD effect. Easiest way to do it is to get in the center, Spin, pick a center enemy, Leap straight up and Shockwave. Instant KD effect and amazing AoE output, far more useful than any of the Epic AoEs because of the lack of Redraw and much better damage.
Note: Alotta picks were just filler, theres a ton of flexibility in this build, but my firm belief is that if youre skipping Shockwave, you should reroll as a Spines
Evis is really not that far off Slash on ST DPA. But like others had mentioned, if you're gonna drop something that would be the first to go. Shockwave is a keeper, I highly recommend it on any claws scrapper.
Thank you all for the replies. I thought maybe Eviscerate would be the one to go, even though it makes me sad. I have also noticed that Power Surge seems less than spectacular, especially for a scrapper. I am leaning toward skipping it as well.
I definitely do not think I can skip Shockwave, as its damage and mitigation will be important to my playstyle. I am not married to the Blaze APP, but it does fit my concept a bit, so I lean towards it strongly.
While I will cheaply frankenslot and use commons as I play through the levels, I have made up a build idea for the long-term I think could be workable. Dinged level 22 at the end of a Posi TF, so I now have Energize (I ended up taking Stamina at 20, ). I did both Vahz Story arcs from 10-19, I learned I have a toxic hole.
+HPs, +regen, and +recharge are my goals, I ended up with a decent amount of +acc and +damage as well. I guess I'll be able to double stack Follow-Up, which I imagine is a good thing?

The thing about power surge and scrappers is the cap. 75% for scappers is a far cry lower then the 90% tanks get. But its still better then anything else unless you pop insps frequently.
I started a Claws / Elec scrapper which I now have at level 17. I will mostly team or solo normal type missions (maybe set for +1 level, and 2 or 3 people). I will either slot common IOs or Frankenslot whatever is cheapest.
I would like to drop one attack for the build below and pick up Hasten. Which attack should I drop? Is there any other advice for a cheapy build? The slots and enhancements that are in the build are accurate up to level 17; after that is conjecture, much of which is not done as well as I'd like, but before I started doing the nitty-gritty of exact slotting I wanted to get an idea of which attack I should drop.
