Did this guy just diss Caltrops?
  2. Definitely sound Science origin. Lots of foreign chemicals injected into the body to make it better; pretty much the definition of Science.

Yikes, ok, nevermind then. Guess my eyes were just playing tricks on me.

If you simply like a character's story but DON'T like the visual, leave that out of this thread. It'll help me tally up the results of the visuals you actually like.
Sorry, I was answering the "click" part of the question, guess I misinterpretted.

Thankfully, I like a lot of the elements of Synapse's costume as well. The lightning motif is nice for Synapse, since he's an electricity blaster, and there's some elements that compliment the Science origin as well (goggles).

Wait, he IS Science origin technically, right?

    3. Who looks the coolest/most intriguing/scariest, etc?
    4. Which costumes are the best fit for the particular character's story?
5.Feel free to look at GMs, AVs, and even enemy group bosses while you're at it, but I'm curious which boss-level and higher NPC costumes really capture your attention and why.
    1. My favorite would have to be Nightstar. I know she's only a little bit from just a repainted Vicky, but it's such a GREAT improvement over "mirror-Luminary". A few others would be Positron (now that he finally got the helmet off), Scirocco, Mako, and BABs.

    2. I like Synapse's personality a lot. I can relate with his story (even though I wasn't experimented on by an evil corporation and then later escaped), I just wish he was used more in the story.

    3. Siege is pretty terrifying to me now. Most people don't really feel this way, but come on, a giant robot with Incarnate blood and adonis DNA? Winning!

    4. Read 3.

    5. An AV that piqued my interest positively was Reichsman. He's exactly what I envision when I see an evil Nazi god. A character that piqued my interest negatively is Battle Maiden. Honestly, I look at the other Praetors and they have all of these fancy unique costumes that make them all awesome and stuff, and Battle Maiden just gets a Valkyrie set?

Hope this helps in some way.

    Whozawutnow?

Positron had to solo Reichsman again, so Posi shut down the servers for a few minutes so they wouldn't get damaged.

States was too busy trying to find people to fight Lord Recluse for him again, of course.

In fact, I'm certain the Contact Marauder model that may also be used in the normal Praetorian arcs is actually shorter than the Trial version.
I speculate this since I notice Nightstar is a hell of a lot taller in the BAF than she is as a trainer.
I noticed this too. The contact version of Marauder is about the same height as BAB in his trainer version.

Reichsman has slightly different powers than his Primal counterpart and a much more aggressive personality. It's not a stretch to suggest his personality influenced his transformation differently and he became a bit bigger; all the better to intimidate his subordinates.
I agree with this for Reichsman. And yes, Emperor Cole is a little smaller than Statesman, which makes sense, since you don't see Emperor Cole doing much other than watching things behind the scenes nowadays.
  8. Alright, I think it's about time to get my AE arcs out into the public...

    Big Magic Blowout! #369774
Follow a creepy Vigilante known as SpittingouttheDemons as he gathers ingredients to summon a powerful Demon Lord and take him down before he takes over Paragon City! Light comedy, can be challenging.

Who Really Cares About This? Z! #509577
This is a relatively new arc that I've made. Join a rag tag band of heroes on their mission to defeat their own powerful rival who happens to be working with Lord Recluse and Nemesis... or is he? Mostly comedy, and definitely a challenge in teams, but not so much solo.

That Meddling King! (teams recommended) #21450
This was actually the first arc I made and was only 1 mission before I decided to expand it. Wolfen Frost and Wolfen Blaze are rivals, one the leader of the Wolfen Tribe, and one the leader of the Wolfen Exiles, respectively. The arc basically has you helping them go back and forth against eachother. Also contains a small, secret backstory pertaining to the Wolfen Tribe. This is definitely my most challenging one, and have been told accordingly, but I did that on purpose.

    As always, feedback is appreciated.

Nope, none of those. I play a Bane Spider, no procs, no holds.
  10. I was pretty much done with trying to get information after I found out the Laser Rifle set won't have wah-wah lasers.
  11. I'm not sure what it is, because I've had this happen in an "auto toggle" situation as well. Here's 3 I've seen.

An Electric Armor custom enemy constantly trying to cast Lightning Field despite it being on, but cycling attacks as usual through the casting animation. I've even had this one turn on Power Surge and Power Sink while simultaneously trying to cast Lightning Field.

An Ice Armor custom enemy trying to cast Icicles despite it, once again, being on. This didn't seem to happen as much as the Electric Armor enemy. Attacks cycle as normally, and go through the Icicles animation.

A Fire Armor trying to cast Plasma Shield, yet it's already on. Same deal with the attacks, but this only happened once or twice.

These are the worst ones I've seen. Other custom enemies will try to turn on their toggles despite them being on, but only seem to do it once, and don't attack through the animations.

Is there any way we can get run one of these running in Virtue? Better yet, is there a global channel I should know about?
  13. Do custom enemies try WAY too hard to turn on their toggles? My custom enemy with Regeneration is constantly roaring at me trying to turn on Integration (albeit it never staying on regardless) while simultaneously using its attack powers, which seems a little odd to me.
  14. Alright, new AE challenge: A Nemesis Plot within a Nemesis Plot. My 3 slots are already filled, so I'll leave it to another to make this a reality.

I agree with these, although it seems the "door problem" only happens with the newer entrances, such as in Praetoria. Where did the coding get botched at?
  17. As a fellow man that plays female characters, I totally vote for a female only server so I can take notes on female behavior for the little bit of outside life I have.
  18. ...ALL the models?

    All dem models needs updatin'.

Honestly, I seriously would detest to a sequel coming out, if that's what you mean. I kind of sunk the last 7 years into this game alone.

I remember way back when, making an Earth/FF controller because OMG Ruin Mages were INSANE. Needless to say I was less impressed with the playable PC version. -_-
QFT. I entirely skip CoT around the 20s just for this reason.
  20. Well, I play a VEAT (that's where I stop bragging, don't worry), so anything that affects my endurance bar negatively presents a challenge, such as Sappers, Sappers, and Sappers.

I also find DE to be a challenge when Crystals drop their buff pets. The +to-hit tears right through my defense.

Thankfully, +2x3 doesn't present too much of a problem to me as long as I'm not blindly charging into everything, but I think that's where the challenge lies. You know, not rushing everything because I think I'm totally freaking amazing.
  21. Speaking as a fellow VEAT...

MORE, GIVE ME MORE RECOVERY. I NEEEED MORE RECOVERY.

    That is all.
  22. And this is where I submit my suggestion for a Rainbow Control powerset.
  23. I recall someone I know saying that they were running a Keyes trial with an NCSoft employee. I didn't believe him, but I saw the name, in big letters, NCSoft_, and then something else, probably with a B. It might've been Beastyle, but all I know is that it made me jealous. :P
