Help me chose origin

I came up with a character idea for a SS/Fire brute, which to me appear to be in the cross section of natural, science and tech. Character is born as a natural human with natural parents. His abilities is a combination of intensive training, steroids and intramuscular oil injections (think Greg Valentino). The oils are various back alley blends of cooking oil, motor oil and crude oil. The blends have no scientific proven effect (probably not even mad scientific), but just works in his case. He is a result of experiments by some sort of back alley Dr Mengele.
His fire abilities are because of combustion of injected hydrocarbons.

Generally, when picking an origin, I go expressly with where the most supernatural aspect of their two primary power sets come from.

In this case I would probably say you could narrow it down to tech or science, and personally I would learn most towards the latter.

I would say science. He would have been strong with just his training. But he's SUPER strong because of what he's injected into his body.

Definitely sound Science origin. Lots of foreign chemicals injected into the body to make it better; pretty much the definition of Science.

When I'm stuck, I like to look at the names of Single Origin enhancements and see which one best completes the sentence "X can increase my character's powers".

Still sounds like science, even if low science, to me.

Going to also chime in and say Science. He's not using devices or implants to give himself powers (Tech), and nor is he using solely the abilities native to his species (Natural), he is being chemically altered, granting him his superpowers. Definitely Science.

Ever since the five starter origin powers were introduced, I pretty much use those as visual flavor to determine my characters origin.
