I tend to just list stuff for 10 inf. Most of it sells for prices well in excess of that. The stuff that doesn't, well, I don't want it taking up valuable space, nor do I want to hassle with running to a vendor.

And to be quite frank, most of my random salvage are in a certain category where a lot of what I'm picking up is going for 10K apiece or more.

I've spent the last two weeks in the MA exploring marketing possiblities (with new characters, not farming my 50's). After my first three mission runs, my lowbie promptly joined the millionaire club.

Normally what I do is go after whatever tier 3 salvage I can afford, then fill the spaces in with common salvage.

Yeah. If you're playing MA, you have to essentially be doing something wrong if you can't make a few million off a couple missions.

Seriously. A couple rares can give a toon their first million in a speed that's completely unheard of.

One dumb question.

Is your three-slotting of Stamina really optimal? With the +End proc already in there and Transference, you're looking at monster recovery as it is. No place else that you could eke out a little "somethin' somethin'"?

One other thing on the 1B build. Why EXACTLY are you slotting up both Taunt AND Provoke?

If you were using it as an IO mule I could understand. But you aren't, and likely won't. Those extra slots could be better utilized elsewhere.

And, as everyone else said. Invest in IOs and slot out some -KB IOs. They aren't cheap, but they will DEFINITELY stabilize your build.

Okay. Sorry, I've seen (and perpetrated if truth be told) some boneheaded posts in forums prior to this.

Just wanted to make sure.

If you bought the boosters, and have applied them in your account manager at Plaync.com, then you should be able to log into the game and:

1: On the Power trays, click "Powers".
2: Your Temp/Accolade, etc powers will be down the right-hand side of the window that pops up.
3: Simply click and drag the power down into your Power trays.

I think the problem with the Defender inherent is something like this:

A: If your team is up to the challenge, you spend very little time doing more than maintenance healing to keep them topped off. Thus your inherent never really grants you any beneficial effect.

B: Threats significant enough to trigger your inherent are ALREADY overrunning your ability to buff/heal your teammates. Better endurance retention does you little good if you're stuffed head-first into a wood-chipper.

Now maybe I'm missing something. And if I am, someone please smack me up side the head and show me the error of my ways.

What server Doc?

1: Yes, as soon as you apply it (the code to activate the booster), ALL your characters (both new and existing) gain access.

2: No. Basically the booster applies to all characters regardless of origin or concept-appropriateness. So you can have science characters dropping the Mystic Fortune from the Magic booster. You can have your witch character using the Super Serum costume change emote from the Science booster, etc.

3: Welcome back. And don't worry. You're just being slapped upside the head with a lot of new data all at once. You'll assimilate quickly (you DO have the Cyborg pack RIGHT?)

I wish I could say this. Usually, with a full zone and everyone fighting, I get a bit of lag on low-pop servers.

Tried participating in one on Freedom just to see what it was like.

I could move around just fine. But I couldn't get more than one power off every couple minutes it was lagged so bad.

I'm well into my thirties (year, not levels) with over a year of play time and I still like them.

NO.

Does it mean it's okay to do it and there aren't possible repercussions?

NO.

Bidding on L53 recipes and enhancers is one thing. At one point they existed in the game (and in some cases still do). So using them to store inf on the market is one thing.

Bidding on something that accidentally showed up on the market before it became part of the game? That's something else.

I'm coming at this from a purely technical POV of "you're fiddling around with something that's broken or unfinished".

If he's trying to get a jump on the market, I could probably care less (but if so, I'm not quite sure how).

It's called "Risk Assessment". Clearly his assessment was flawed.

Should he not be able to get back into the market because of this? No. But it's something for customer support to step in and rectify. Probably by canceling the bid.

This. My stoner of choice is fire. I've tried a few others but this was the one I had the most fun with and made the most well rounded character possible for a stone tank IMO.

Still able to solo missions outside of granite, and still very able to hold agro with 2-4 aoe's (if you take bof and a pool 4) one of which is available very quickly.

It is an offensive set with no mitigation, but stone doesn't need mitigation IMO. I never worry about dying since granite is always available if needed so there really is no downside to taking arguably the most offensive tanker secondary and pairing it with the most defensive primary.

I can't really speak to elec since I haven't ever made a brute.

Yeah. Tectonica (my Stone/Fire) was what showed me what was going on with my SS/Inv tank and why it felt so squishy when I was leveling. On Inv/ if you have your defense numbers up, you watch them jump around like a frog on a hotplate, even if nothing is debuffing you. This sometimes leaves you vulnerable at inopportune moments. With Stone, you know your defense level right off the bat and it stays there.

Hence my final push towards a MaxDefense SS/Inv tank that, while not doing GREAT damage, is absolutely BEASTLY to try and kill (at least outside of PVP).

While Granite IS more durable, for most missions that I solo, I really don't need to run Granite for save as the stoner "Oh *BLEEP!*" button (mostly due to the "Kill 'em faster" factor).

It's the same mentality of hami farms, rikti doll farms, etc.

Something is obviously not right. So you're (generic "you", not you in particular DumpleBerry) going to jump on it and hope to profit from it.

Call up the campus tech support staff and explain what you're trying to do. Also, it's probably a good idea to have the Trouble Connecting? Guide open so you can give them things like port numbers.

And as someone who has been active in the whole hacker scene, worked network security jobs, and basically got a laundry list of "been there, done that, sent postcards!", no. Breaking into and subverting a university's IT infrastructure isn't a laughing matter. Sure, you'll get on and play the game for a while. But, then the police come and take you away and you don't play anymore.

I'm having a lot of fun with a Stone/Fire at the moment. So I can recommend this.
