I had noticed I was out of respecs so I figured a good way to test the build was to go ahead and run a respec with it and see how happy I was with it. I did well but I noticed a hole in my build. The hole stats with an N and ends with bomb. *burns respec right away to put neutron bomb in*

Doh! I can't believe I forgot the data chunk...such a silly mistake...but I think I'll take your advice and take neutron bomb. I didn't realize it ticked that rarely. Lemme put up my build with neutron bomb.

Truth. Melt armor has tiny numbers and short duration. While it'd be possible to to make blaze mastery work you could just as easy use body mastery for cheaper and use energy torrent which isn't amazing but it isn't the suckfest that's torrent from dark mastery. So really, it comes down to money vs numbers. Are you willing to invest the big bucks to make blaze work or do you just want the cheaper easier route that's also good.

I actually have a Rad/MM, it is ridiculous. I mean it in the best way possible. Love is irradiate and psychic shock wave then nuking while realizing you have a fully saturated drain psyche so you won't be at a total end crash.
Oh also rad you can put an achilles proc in it which will give you -def and -res, not reliable -res but it's there. -
A little something I've been toying around with quite sometime...I couldn't decide between a few things...well the biggest thing I keep looking at and thinking is world of confusion with a ton of damage procs in it and neutron bomb.
Neutron is a nice power and nice damage and a good radius but effffff I hate the animation time. Bugs the mess out of me. Would a proc'd out world of confusion be a viable alternative or is that just madness?

Me and a buddy have a Spine/Elec and a Spine/Dark level pacted. We just charge in, spine burst, auras mop up the rest, move on.

I six slot with GSFC and never had an issue with it. The only time I've noticed a large amount of miss was on Nemesis who had veng stacked about 4-5 times. And really, even then a yellow or two instantly fixes that.

Hey Stef, I do see your slotting all over the place for defense. Sounds good in theory but most likely you'll want to focus on a specific type of defense. The issue is that resistance based toons start with pretty much no defense and you're having to build up. So you'll want to soft cap the one you're most worried about. For a scrapper that'd be melee most of the time. You're charging head long into the fray. Another alternative is smashing lethal which is the most common damage types in the game and will also help on ranged and aoes that are also smashing and lethal.

I dunno, that looks fine to me. Also you didn't turn on your auto accolades. That puts you at 4.55 end a second. Pretty absolute you wouldn't have an end issue.

I was talking in a channel that I'm associated with when suddenly someone dropped a bombshell on me that's rather interesting! We all know how end heavy dark regeneration is...well someone notified me that there is an easy way to get around it. Theft of Essence chance for endurance. Apparently in an aoe heal that effects multiple targets it will check for the proc on each target. IE if you hit 10 targets with Dark Regeneration you will have 10 chances for the proc to succeed. 10 targets with a 20% chance for 10 endurance isn't bad at all. With luck and the proc goes off multiple times you may very well end up gaining more end than spent. But that is a gamble I suppose. So the question you have to ask your self is...do you feel lucky, punk? Well do you!?

Stay strong, once you get a scrapper to their late 30's things get easier and more fun. Beyond that the sky is the limits.

I hate when her soul storm ninjas my shield...but I generically pop magus right before charging her unless I'm trying to solo her. But say on STF or a MoSTF, yeah Magus. <_<

The run thing is pretty weird. I mean I've had critters run from me just because I killed their allies fast. I'm not sure what all can possibly trigger it.

This thread reminds me of my first time playing this game...rolled a spine/regen, pretty much made all the worst decisions...learned and moved on. But yeah, take chances, make mistakes, get messy. Best way to learn.
