Teaming on villains

OK, seems for awhile now that unless I'm running strike forces it's hard to find a team to run with on villains. It just seems that teaming is no longer in existence red side. So to all those who primarily play villains, I have a question for you all. I am thinking about starting a themed style team on villains, playing these toons one night a week. Starting at lvl 1 going to break out and working our way to level 50. I would be open to many different themes. I started a X-Men theme team while I was stationed in Japan making each character our version of any X-Men we choose. This is kind of the theme style team I am talking about. I'm open to any suggestions on themes. I am more curious if any one would be interested. I'm just tired of soloing and would really like to bring teaming back on a regular basis instead of just teaming for strike forces. Well guess I will now wait and see. I haven't given up on Champion server yet. You have been my home for over 3 years and I have met some really wonderful people. I really want to bring that friendly teaming atmosphere back to the number 1 server in the game. Don't fail me now Champion, lets be that friendly, team oriented, teaching others the ins and outs of the game server we used to be.

I play almost exclusively on my villains now and very rarely have issues finding teams. Granted I'm teaming with most of the same people from my sg/global, but we also include some pugs when we have the room.

I am also on two static teams at the moment, which is a great way to have a dedicated team to play with once a week. I run a Saturday afternoon all-VEAT static team and am also on the Wednesday night early team that formed through the forums.

If you have an idea of when you are thinking of running a static team and what the time-frame is, please post that. I may be interested and I know other people would be too, depending on the time and day.

Plus, look me up the next time you are on ... I'm on for a couple of hours during week nights and generally most of the weekend and my villain group almost always has something either planned or in the works for teaming.

I'm on one of the villain Wednesday static teams too- the one that seems to be dying as I can only think of two other people who show up on a regular basis. We're only in the 21-23 lvl range, so joining up (9CST/7PST Wednesday evenings) is an option for you to consider.

I've got a themed villain static team starting later this month with my SG too (still voting on theme), and there are tons of ideas for themes out there. I wouldn't be opposed to joining another team as one of my hero statics also seemed to die this last year. I play better when focused on specific goals and on a schedule. But I'd like more information on day/time zone/time as well.

As far as ideas I was playing around with one in my head and it was an all AR/ team consisting of secondarys such as cold, therm, sonic, and traps mainly for the shields for the defense. And for the time frame I was considering Saturday evening around 6pm EST. Since that seems to be one of the few time frames that the Army isn't calling me in for something. But I am open to any day and time frame really. I am also open to any themed ideas. That was just one I was playing around with in my head. But since I have to be up at 0530 every weekday to get ready for PT, staying up to late is kinda difficult to do. Thanks again for the replays Talon and Llewthor.

I'm 99% villain on Champion, play wise. (And 30 of 33 characters are red.) I prefer villain archetypes, and play as often as I can. (Precluded by real life and occasional ventures to play with friends that rather blue)

I usually can be found playing my main villain, but do use the aforementioned plethora of villain alts. If you need more blood and I'm on, let me know @chicagodoodler. I play eveningish a couple times a week and then on weekends. I have just about anything you might be looking for, power/archetype-wise.

I have some lowbies I would use for a static team on Champion and I would be open to making a new one. I am not sure Saturdays would be best for me. I can be a bit busy on Triumph most Saturdays when I dont have plans with the wife.

Not sure about the AR theme, but I would roll up and Arch/TA Corr if you are thinking about some sort of Mercs type of team. Sounds like I am on when Seldom is on if that helps.

When I play on villains non Static team ( am the lead on the wednesday one ). I dont always play villains but when I do I haven't spent a lot atime alone.

Like Llewthor said, static teams are a good way to find some players. What Talon is running across is what kinda hit the wednesday team I was on last year. about March things picked up for the lost players and we ended with all of us 50.

There are teams out there.

I play red side quite often myself. I only have a few characters but I really love 'em. Also once I can get scrappers red side I'll play a bit more. <_<
