Any other Champion server players starting up on Trek Online?

I've gotten a ship up and running (USS Esoteric) under the command of Witty@wittypirate aka Spaul cha'Thalek. I'm the guy in blue. Anyone got a Fleet up yet?

One thing I learned about Star trek is that no matter what the issue is, Miles O'Brien can build a machine to deal with it.

HOWEVER, the combined engineering genius of Scottie, Jordie, O'Brien, and even Rom can't save the Federation from the crappy mismanagement of Cryptic.

Star Trek Universe teaches you that anything is possible, HOWEVER they will have a harder time with the Nerf stick then they had with the Dominion.

Believe it or not there are quite a few COH players over there! There is a fleet called the Paragon Fleet and it is made up of all people whom play COH! I don't personally belong to it (did in beta) but you should have no problem finding somebody to help you join! As for Champion Players... I only know of myself and maybe a few others playing over there. Havn't run into many others at the moment! Hit me up at @DazzMarvelous! See ya there!

I'll let the paid beta work it's way through their product for a few months before I take a look at it.

I'm also a little leery of Cryptics bait and switch tenancies with their newly released mmos. =B

I lost any interest in trying STO after hearing that you have to pay extra to play certain races. A meaningful cash shop at launch does not sit well in my book especially when it's selling content that should be free after paying for the box + monthly subscription.

Ehh.... It's a nice escape from the CoH world! I love to just PEW PEW things in space and run around in my little ship! I haven't left CoH... just trying to breathe a little after all the chaos of the past year on Champion! I love you all and I'll still be around for events it's just been fun to escape to another game and be a stranger and do my own thing really! I've teamed with a couple peeps from Champion but nothing serious... which is really nice... just plain ole space pew pew fun! The game is actually pretty solid after Open Beta and yes... like any other game they have stuff you can buy (microtransactions, blegh but hey I guess it's a MMO thing now) to add on (just like our booster packs) and won't be limited to just species, costumes, etc.

I play CoH, CO, and STO. Each of them offers a different experience and play style, and I enjoy them all. I may not have massive amounts of time to spend in all (or any) of them, but I do enjoy all three.

Sure, MMO companies make mistakes, and an MMO is never truly a finished product. To me, the entire experience in any game is mostly "Go there & fight that." It's the nature of the experience that will likely only see fundamental change with new technology. However, the places these three games send me and the things they have me fight are pretty colors.

On the other hand, I'm not 'leet' by any definition. The changes and updates don't bother me. I can enjoy the powers I have thematically, even when the power gets tweaked a little (or a lot). I have never based my purchase of a game on a build, so changing a build isn't game breaking for me.

Witty, if you need a Fleet to run with, let me know.

If I am correct, PS is part of the MEGAFLEET.

One MMO is enough for me.. With school and other events, my life can't take another MMO.

Hopefully this isn't a discouragement, but I'll be there, too, as soon as I upgrade my system (Note to self: read the specs BEFORE buying the game!).

yup staying here also Cryptic seems to be doing some shady @#$% over there with CO and STO not too far behind, 1 MMO is enough for me also, besides Skippy is over there doing the same ol same ol.

Damnit everyone keeps talking about ships and I have yet to find a single one in the grand canyon province or figure out how to craft one . . . . .
