  2. I might be able to bring a Brute or Crab, if I can make it next Sunday.
  3. Meh. I can't tell exactly what I'd be spending $30, so I'll wait until it's clear.
  4. I, for one, would certainly welcome back XPP01.

    But, not Skippy.
  5. Elk, they want people who can provide quality feedback in a way that can be easily understood.

    Think about it....

    Yes, and you should play.
    Everyone should play.
    Everyone should play everything.

I need more time to play stuff.
  7. Heya, Det.! Good to see you around.

I'll try to answer your questions, if if they already were:
    1. Not I, but hopefully someone is running things at that time.
    2. Skippy scattered them to the far corners, with predictable drama and lack of warning. Blind dis-invites?
    3. Yes, but I never see the others. I mostly only make time for the Wednesday night static group.
    4. Cobalt desperately needs a slave to take of him. What? Oh. Um, he may also need a shave. Yeah, that too.
  8. I play CoH, CO, and STO. Each of them offers a different experience and play style, and I enjoy them all. I may not have massive amounts of time to spend in all (or any) of them, but I do enjoy all three.

Sure, MMO companies make mistakes, and an MMO is never truly a finished product. To me, the entire experience in any game is mostly "Go there & fight that." It's the nature of the experience that will likely only see fundamental change with new technology. However, the places these three games send me and the things they have me fight are pretty colors.

On the other hand, I'm not 'leet' by any definition. The changes and updates don't bother me. I can enjoy the powers I have thematically, even when the power gets tweaked a little (or a lot). I have never based my purchase of a game on a build, so changing a build isn't game breaking for me.

Witty, if you need a Fleet to run with, let me know.

  10. Ohh, that make sense now. I thought that you mean "girlfriend as needed". Yeah, "global friend" makes more sense.

Might I also comment that "OP" is not a verb. It is the abbreviation of a noun.
Although "OP" usually stands for "operator" (which is actually not an abbreviation), CK used it to mean "operate" (which is a verb).

    I'm just sayin'....

That's actually not my job as a Hero. When they reach Paragon City proper, then call me. If they can't get past Longbow and the drones, then I'm not worried.

    LOL PvP!
  14. FYI: I am also stealing your buzz while I steal all your x2 XP while you are at work.

  16. Southern Frost thanks you again! She grew up on TTs, and it's always cool to see the cavalcade of Tankers gather.

She even got to hand out a random present to an unsuspecting tank!
(Yes, she had one leftover from last winter.)

The time you had to spend in game is not normal. That doesn't make it bad; it's just not the kind of time to which most people have access. Although the number of people with multiple 50s certainly continues to grow, most people haven't level one of each AT to 50, much less filled their slots. So, for the (probable) majority, the journey to 50 is still more important than what to do with a character after all the current content is finished.

Besides, as the devs have already pointed out, it is simply not feasible for them to create content faster than you can go through it. Eventually, you'll have done everything (which each character) they put out before they can put out more. Thus, it's not cost effective to plan for high level content that way.

Even if it's dropped from twenty-six miles to 15K, that's still a marathon.
  18. I'm as much here as I always am. We still have a villain static group (now only 3 people on Thursday nights), which I want to see hit 50.

Heck, I still haven't hit 50 on all the ATs yet!

Can I color mine clear? It would save my PC on graphic rendering.

I love it when SGs allow me to run with their SG groups, even though I'm not in their SG.

    Sorry for your loss, Z.

Everyone learns about loss and pain sometime. At least your daughter gets to learn about it early from a pet, instead of a relative.
