umm yea... "back in the day" hvnd, earthgaurd, les, ESPECIALLY PON ,SF, PINGUS AND HOJ spent everynight getting wrecked by VoRI... if heroes still arent winning these days then its nothing new.
I love PvP. But every bloody vill has [Hibernate]. Becomes way too frustrating.
So I started dealing with this by tp'ing constantly [hibernating] vills in front of the base drones. Only to get called cheap. This happened last week....a vill who constantly hibernated justified it by saying "I spent a power on the slot and its legit. So what's the issue?" Yet whined when I tp'ed him. So I copied and pasted his answer. :-)
But yeah....lets get more heroes out there!

Oh and Shay you know blasters can get hibernate too :P You can't complain about it if you have access to it too, just the same as a villain can't complain about droning, unless hes dumb and can't figure out to stay out of the base.

Here is the justification. Do you get a kill credit when you drone someone? Nope. Why is that? Because that is not the way the game was intended to be played. Killing someone the easy way is cheap. Using phase or hibernate is an evasion tactic. Its a legitimate power and working as intended. Learn how to pvp better in time and you will see those powers are not that hard to get past or around. When you drone someone you are not giving them a fair shot at fighting you. Someone phasing or hibernoobing is, number one they must be fighting to even need to click the power, and two they are powers you can still get a kill through.

The type I'll drone are the thankfully rare players who, while hibernating, fill the broadcast with language and insults that are certainly reportable. These rare lads need to learn a lesson in sportsmanship that is well applied with droning--the Happy Hand of social Darwinism.
I had a big mouth my first time in RV and crossed a line--got droned, learned the lesson.
I didn't mean to imply I used this as a standard tactic in PvP--apologies for the confusion.

But yea, I love having UC and HoJ in RV. I also Enjoy arena with them.

I can at least say that PON,HOJ and Templar of Steel use to show up in numbers and all you old tymers saying that old pvp sg or Vori sg use to wreck people so what. where are those SG/VG at now? hmmm you keep living past... but present where we rocking.. F what you did... and show what you can do now. I seen Villains come up in RV. Alot of the villains few months ago were mainly SO' or wasn't a flavor of the month toon. AE help alot Villains players make PVP toons. The main reason now villains are kicking butt is alot of them got there toons IOed out now and not like before were you find alot Villains that were SO'ed out. ALL I CAN SAY IS I BEEN RECKING SH*T with my Melt Sheet in Zone and Arena.
Any how we had a good kickball today and we should have more. New pvp players should come out and have fun... you might get wreck but at least you learn what you need to do.
