** I just went back and looked at my notes about the PE vs. dUmb match and it wasnt that they were trying to farm En3my, it was that they kept his awesomeness caged and when he got out of cage our other emp wasnt getting him any buffs so he had any perception to trow fiya. **

Want to thank all those who said positive things about the HoJ. We are mainly a PvE SG that enjoys taking a break from PvE by doing zone PvP and Kickballs. Myself and a few other SG mates enjoy both aspects of the game. Lets keep it positive and have a good time, see you all in game!

I'm not the nicest guy around, but I am umm.... "okayy" with any person that is willing to learn PvP..
I know scribe made a PvP101 channel so people could get help/advice from "pro/Skilled" PvP'rs, haven't seen anyone use it lately tho... or at all in that fact? So if people are really serious about this thread, and want to learn stuff about PvP? Maybe use the channel? If you are not in the channel, send scribe a tell. Get to know people.
PvP also isn't just in the Zone, or in Pocket D. Its in arena chat (My Favorite PvP) and through broadcast/tells/SG/team/etc.. So if you're a little softie and cry to moma when you get picked on.. just don't bother please..
Another thing I would like to mention about to ((((ALL THE HERO PvP'rs)))) is when us villains get but ***** left, right, up, and down.. and there is only ONE.. maybe TWO villains left in RV, we stay and STILL fight it out. But when the "heroes" get out numbered by maybe three-four villains, and we have y'all stuck in your base for maybe about.. five-minutes y'all say "If anyone wants to 1v1 me, send me a tell" and if no one says yes.. y'all leave? like really?? Us villains can be out numbered 7-2 and stick it through, but y'all just run away? Maybe y'all need a new strategy..

Anyone who gets out of line in PvP wearing , Get Wrecked tags, will get kicked from VG. We are a vg that is promoting pvp and not a vg that is a bunch of loud mouth jerks.

srsly though it's nice to see PvP getting some love from the champion player base again.
yeah but the storms in the lab was always not to much fun for the other team.

I think the most memorable match for me was against a storm team. I had emped for PCJL's storm team for a while, but then being on the receiving end of dUmb's storm team in my first match with A.S.S. was epic. I had never had much experience with how to evade storms. Vent was silent with everyone concentrating. That is of course until the win came.
I have to say Recluse Victory was popping last night. Started off small team of villains beating the Heroes until they called for back up and push us back to our base.... and then villains numbers started to grow and force the heroes back to their base and it was a all out war. Villz again.... kick butt.

As far as I know there are maybe 4-5 of us that ever hardcore test pvp'd. Me, En3my, As4es and Neuronia come to mind. I am sure there might be one or 2 that still pvp on a regular basis that I am not thinking of. I bet even as good as En3my is he will admit he isn't nearly as good as he used to be because those that offered any hardcore competition to practice against are no longer here. Being the best when there is not competition isn't exactly an accomplishment. |
I've been doing a lot of 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 events on Infinity, and it usually end up my Ill/Emp with a fellow dUmbie undefeated, we beat other dUmbies and another player etc.
It's still like PvPing in molasses though, even with the Travel Suppression off, just horrible stuff. Champion, Infinity and Freedom are the only servers where good spikes and real spikes still happen on a regular basis, and even then you have a 4-5 second window to react, which is abso-freaking-lutely reedeeculously long.
