It's kinda Willpowerish, in that it has S/L resist and exotic defenses, but not as much S/L defense and exotic resists.

Uh...
Well, for one thing, a villain SG can still have a Pillar of Ice and Flame, through which a member can run a flashback, which will then award Entrusted with the Secret.
But moreover, there are like fifty other ways to get Entrusted with the Secret besides the exploration badge on the Ouroboros spire, most of which do not require the help of other players with the badge. That's how people got it in the first place, after all.
Edit: if that was the joke, I claim the Poe's Law defense >.> -
Red inspirations are kind of like an XP gain buff ;P

You can use middle-click on an empty slot to place another of whatever you placed last, or the next IO in the set if the previous cannot be placed (due to Unique-ness or because you already have that one in the power). So you can place the first Ragnarok through the menus as normal, then middle-click on each of the remaining slots and it will fill in the rest of the set.
Enjoy -
I'm working on one of these too, and I'm not the best on Blaster builds, but for brainstorming purposes, here's what I'm currently planning on once I reach 50 (although I've gone through like four ground-up revisions to the "plan" in the last week, so...):
Code:I went for flight and Leviathan Mastery, like you did, and 32.5% S/L/R defense. Geyser needs more recharge than in the build you posted, IMO. One Force Feedback proc every ~80 seconds isn't terribly exciting, either. -
Since they're Attuned, a level 15 Overwhelming Force: Accuracy/Damage (or whatever other piece) is functionally identical to a level 50 of the same piece, but they are technically not the same item, so Wentworth's lists them separately, and they don't stack in base storage, and etc. You can see the level if you drag the enhancement into chat.
Why didn't they change all the enhancements to the same level when they fixed the auction bug? Dunno, apparently that would have been more difficult. -
Quote:Ah, yes, you're right. Cycling Aim, Build Up, and Power Boost (with Tactics + Kismet) would indeed allow a /nrg Blaster to have +22% tohit at all times. That's a whole lot of power activations, though, so although it's technically perma, it's not quite the same as just toggling on Tactics and slotting a Kismet as Corruptors/Defenders will do. At the least, though, it would be fair to say a /nrg blaster can have fast-snipe as often as they like.Yeah... no, that's not true.

They don't delete accounts, for database reasons as they say, and also probably for business reasons (financial records, etc). However, they definitely can and do ban/lock accounts, which would still accomplish what you want. Perhaps asking for that instead would have better results?
But yes, you need to talk to support about this, not us in the Player Questions forum. -
Judging by your join date and post count, your participation in the forums doesn't involve a lot of posting, which means you don't even really need to be logged in, which means removing/locking/banning/whatever your forum account won't help much.
If you want to remove yourself from the forums, some kind of program that will block the forums for you seems like a better approach. Either way, best of luck. -
There have been quite a few fictional characters that were straight-up omnipotent. Anyone wearing the Infinity Gauntlet, for example. I'm not sure how one would meaningfully pick which was the most powerful.
-
Personally, I am planning a Claws/Bio, and secretly hoping that the Rularuu weapons go up on the market at some point so that I don't have to wait 30+ levels to get them.
-
Yep, you've got it right. Alternately, a near-guaranteed double Build Up is pretty nifty, too.
-
Quote:If the goal is to keep it from being easily perma, I'd rather see a) a different threshold for Corruptors and Defenders that prevents them from getting there with just Tactics + Kismet, or b) some totally separate mechanic.Because it wasn't meant to be a practical perma thing, which is one of the "Forgotten Facts" people here tend to ignore.
Alternatively we can push the ToHit requirement VERY high so Corruptors/Defenders can't easily do it, and force everyone to stack Tactics or munch Yellows.
I personally like this idea.
Otherwise, we can make it a Perma Reduction and nerf the daylights out of the snipes. Which will happen if people push for that change. -
This has been explored pretty thoroughly in previous threads; Blasters cannot get 22% permanently under their own power, except with /Devices (via Targeting Drone). Aim and Build Up can get you there for 10 seconds at a time pretty frequently, though. Zombie Man has a guide that covers the various other tohit buffs available, but very few are perma-able.
And yes, this will DEFINITELY get brought up once the issue 24 changes enter beta. -
They will, presumably, become the same as the Attuned versions. The Performance Shifter proc is currently 1.5 PPM, which means it is slightly better than a 20% chance. Under the i24 changes, it would be 1.875 PPM, which would make it better still. The Attuned version of the Gaussian's proc is currently 1 PPM on beta, which means 1.25 PPM in i24, which means way, way better than the current flat 5% proc chance, especially in Build Up and similar powers, where it will easily reach the 90% proc chance cap.
I have heard, but not personally confirmed, that PPM procs in toggles/autos (and also in "field" powers like Caltrops or Distortion Field) get a chance to fire on every tick, but calculate their proc chance using the tick frequency as the cycle time. Averaged over time, this should be equivalent to one chance every 10 seconds with a 10-second cycle time for the proc chance. -
AFAIK, no it doesn't refresh, because it is a granted power, not a normal debuff.
There is some benefit to having it in two powers, since more opportunities to proc = higher uptime, but the non-stacking non-refreshing nature of it means each additional proc is worth less than the last. -
The Attuned version of Achilles Heel is currently 3 PPM on beta, which means its proc chance will increase significantly in many powers, although a few current favorites for the proc (Gambler's Cut, Neutrino Bolt) will get a little worse. Presumably, the FotG proc will be 3 PPM as well.

"Not exceptionally good damage" =/= "low damage"
-
Quote:It does make sense, but it is, in my own opinion, and apparently that of many others, thoroughly un-fun.It -makes sense- that your super attack that you summon every ounce of energy to fire leaves you winded and unable to attack for a bit.
Whatever happened to just playing the game and not berating people for having fun? -
I have no reason to doubt that Premonitions' subjective opinion is that set gimmicks are fun. Unless he's lying for some reason, it's certainly factual. It doesn't necessarily say anything about anyone else's opinion, but it is still factual that, in his subjective opinion, it's fun. It's certainly no less factual than Ukaserex's subjective opinion that gimmicks are not fun.
-
Quote:Wait a second, RIP?It's been a good run Archery, thanks for the fun times, and RIP.
The powerset which, you contend, is the best set for the best AT in the game, is getting buffed, just not buffed as much as another set, and this is RIP territory?
O...kay, then. -
Personally, I have found it entirely skippable. I had it for a while, and it just... didn't seem to do much.
-
Why not consider Momentum? It makes the set play in a qualitatively different way than other sets, rather than just being "Broadsword, but bigger".
Momentum, even more so than many other set mechanics, is a love-it-or-hate-it thing IMX. Personally, I am in the "love it" camp, so you can remove Momentum over my cold, dead body -
The different mechanics of different sets help make the sets different. If you don't like them, that's fine; there are sets that don't have such mechanics. Personally, I enjoy the "gimmicks" of some sets, but not others. It's largely a matter of taste.
No, a Water Blaster doesn't do more damage just because he has Tidal Power. He does roughly comparable damage, but does it in a different way.
By the way, "I don't like the game telling me what to do" is, IMO, an unnecessarily negative way to look at it. Orange rings are information, not instruction. More "I give a bonus at the moment, just FYI", than "Use me, dummy!" Sometimes, smart play means ignoring the orange ring, just as sometimes, smart play means not using your best attack the instant it recharges. -
