    Regen vs Max HP

I'm seeing two different definitions for regen being used, which is causing confusion.

Regen as defined by the game is the amount of time between ticks of health recovery. Changes to Max HP has no effect on this.

Regen as used by Claws is amount of health regained over time (hp/s). Max HP does affect this by increasing the amount of HP gained every tick of health recovery.
  2. Jack, regarding not hearing from support:

If you don't bug them about it at least every couple days, they figure the problem must have solved itself and you don't need their help anymore. I don't know how much you bug em about it, but if you've been passively waiting for a month and not updated them that it is still broken, this is why you've heard nothing.

Actually, the GSA does have a better chance to hit. Its base accuracy, per City of Data and verified in game, is 1.05, while base accuracy of the Sands is 1.00. It's not much, but it is there.
  4. I can't speak for every Vigor power, however I can confirm that Vigor Total Radial Revamp does work. I just tested it and my Healing Aura does 263 points of healing with Vigor equipped and 237 points with it unequipped. The tooltips on my enhancement screen also show all attributes (Heal, End Red, Acc, and Confuse) as being increased.
  5. I believe there could also be some issue with the Pilgrim and the lower Ouro entry level. I cannot confirm this personally, but I seem to recall hearing that even though the entry level is now 14, the Pilgrim still won't give out his arc until 25. If this is the case, I can also guess that the only 'I have nothing for you' speech the Pilgrim has is the one for being done with the arc - because before the entry change, that was the only way he could have nothing for you (arc can't be over leveled, and there was no need for a too low speech due to the entry requirement).

Of course, I could be 100% wrong, in which case, a petition certainly won't hurt.

  7. If you are looking to speed run, I suggest not bringing any Rogues with you. The limits on their ability to travel will slow things down (unless you go on without them, which would stink for the rogue, but...). Also keep in mind there are a few simul-click glowies that require 4 people clicking at once. In my experience, teams with lots of Buffs/Debuffs tend to move quickly.
  8. I went and checked on the wiki: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Titles

I found this sentence buried in there:

Once your character is level 15, the title can be changed at any time with the command, /title_change. Trainers give the character a chance to chose or change their title at levels 15, 25, 35, 45, and 50.

So although the title can be changed anytime, it can't be done through the trainer except at certain levels?

In any event, give the slash command there a try.
  9. To clarify: the rewards don't reset. Once you pick a badge, the reward in that slot changes to a Large Inspiration (or 5k inf for Trusting/Arriviste). On the other hand, you can run the tip 5 times as quickly as you can get it and take a different reward each time without penalty.

  11. I have yet to get Rikti-monkeyed with my Elec/Elec Brute, but I've had once or twice where the power just does nothing. Is that a normal option? Or am I supposed to be getting the monkey, and for some reason it just doesn't take?
  12. I vaguely recall there use to be MSRs on Guardian Saturday nights around midnight, often two back to back, but I don't know if those are still being run. I don't even know if I'm remembering right. I also don't remember which time zone that was, probably either Eastern or Central.

    Salvage

I've gotten double salvage drops twice now since I21. Don't have logs for backup, but I'm a VIP with 3 bits of Tier 8 (which shouldn't make a difference because VIP). No Windfall, only Day Job was Large Insp on Mission complete. Both times it was one common and one uncommon salvage. Once was on a mid 20s Brute running First Ward arcs, second was a low 30s Widow running arcs in Nerva.
  14. I don't know how the license worked in Beta, but being able to run the arcs in MA and getting rewards for running those arcs are on two separate reward tiers. The license may have included rewards?

If you are having trouble starting the arc for the Patron, this could be a factor. Train up to 35, and go see Arbiter Rein. Take advatage of the respec that running the arc grants if you want your first patron power to be your level 35 power.
  16. Rank may not have a direct effect on your chance to hit, but Lts. and bosses may be more likely to have some form of +defense power than minions.
  17. In a similar vein, do you make progress faster when you have seven teammates versus one?
  18. If a mission is currently active (red starburst in nav, red marker on ground), the abandon option is grayed out. (Can't abandon in-progress missions.) Try switching your active mission with the 'Select task' button. Logging out for a few minutes should work too. If you don't have another mission, grab a radio mission. It may ask you if you are sure you want to abandon the in-progress mission.

I'm not sure, but this mission may be unavailable for Auto-complete. I think it's a badge awarding arc-ender, but could be wrong.
  19. The Hero Merit is worth 100+ Reward Merits, because the things you can buy with 1 Hero Merit can be bought with 100+ Reward Merits.
  20. Basically, Flight is capped from 1-50. Afterburner can increase your flight cap, and then slotting Fly can improve your speed, but with one 50 Fly IO in Fly, Swift, and Afterburner, you're still capped.

  21. Story arcs through Ourobouros have no diminishing returns on them. Run them as many times in a row as you can stand for the same merits each time!
  22. After a new patch, it asks to verify files before going past that loading bar. Sometimes (for me) that asking window ends up behind other windows. Alt-tab around and see if perhaps it isn't visible?
  23. Can't help with the where, as I don't farm, but the how involves picking a mission with enemies you are strong against, then defeating as many enemies as you can without actually completing the mission. Something with a glowy for mission complete are easy for this, just don't click the glowies.

I don't think it's the opinion itself that is important. It is the facts and interpretation of facts that informed the opinion maker. Also, the underlying assumptions that go (somewhat) unstated. In order for opinions to be compared in a meaningful way, they must use the same sets of facts and the same (or similar) assumptions. The debate has been mostly on the validity of the facts informing the opinion. We seem unable to come to an agreement on what is really true.

If we cannot agree on where we came from or where we are now, how can we agree on how to get where we are heading?

Regarding a solitary opinion carrying weight - yes, a single opinion can carry a great deal of weight, especially if unopposed, to an uninformed person. First impressions are very powerful, and a first opinion takes a great amount of evidence to counter once agreed with. Now do I think this opinion carries a great deal of weight to the Devs? No, because it is not a first opinion, and they are assuredly not uninformed. But this is the Player Questions section of the forums, where players come to get answers from other players. So not only are the devs very unlikely even to see this thread (as they very rarely seem to come here), uninformed players are very likely to see it as they come with questions. It is for the benefit of those uninformed players that the majority of the debate has sprung.
