Yes it has, lots.
Times last I heard were down as low as 3 hrs (with players familiar with the tf etc.) to 4 or 5 hours on solid teams. So while definitely still one of the longer ones you'd have to have some serious team issues to hit the 12+ hour mark.
Based on my recent runs of Dr Q, 3.5 hours is very doable.
Having multiple methods for instant zone teleports (O-portal, Pocket D, mission tp, etc) has cut down on the time for the few missions that detours into the City. However, the biggest difference between then and now is that a lot of players have been conditioned to play in "speed run" mode, so game play is generally faster and they're more prepared for solo survivability. That is, they'll be self-buffed with set bonuses and their AOEs will be maxed, and they can't wait to show off. Gone are they days where the first trap intersection in the first cave mission will wipe the whole team and half will immediately quit.
Note: Dr Q maxes out at level 44, so no Incarnate powers.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
Ran it with a tight group of friends recently, weren't trying too hard, got 2:27.

It's Quaterfield, no R in it.

About how long is a DR Q nowadays. most TFS/SFs can be sped through nowadays. I remember back in the days it would take 13+ hours to complete one. Now with Incarnated and IOed characters, new power sets, has the time for DR Q gone down?
