  1. Give me these and I'll swear I'll never cancel my subscription ever

Guns on a stick = Best bug ever
  2. I love reading thread like this. It makes me think I'm playing another game. I am happy for earning 40 millions and you guys treat the inf cap like pennies.
  3. With the new e-mail system, rezzes are even more situational. Just email youself a bunch of wakies and break-frees, which you can claim when you die and you are good to go. You can even fix the team.
  4. Actually I would like to know, too. It's not that I want devs to allow us to rez our pets; I'm just wondering why can't why. Would it be broken if we could and in each way? Or is it just for technical reasons, as it would require new coding for rez powers?

    New Caltrops

Are the new Caltrops worth the slot?? I mean with 3 less procs the damage potential is greatly reduced.
Also, I currently have 2 /Trap MMs, both with Caltrops, but only one managed to slot them before the change; will I lose the IOs if I respec?

Then, we could add deletion to the OP's 4 cases. Protection from deletion is also useful for personal use in the case you try to delete somrthing by accident. It can happen.

And I think that's exactly why OP bothered mentioning all possibilities, including market and player2player trade.

    WM/Dark Synergy?

    Thanks for the feedback.

I decided to roll a WM/Dark after all, mostly for playtesting. I do like him so far, so maybe I'll get to stick with him. He is lv16 now, just got my Dark Regeneration. Yay

As for the fury issue, yes, I imagine it can pose a problem, but honestly I'm willing to sacrifice some damage potential in favor of greater survivability. So far all the AT I chose were based on the idea of "playing safe": Ill/Rad Troller, Bot/Trap MM, Sonic/MM Blaster, several Dark Defenders. Maybe this logic is flawed on a melee AT, but I can always reroll, right? Altitis FTW

Edit: Yeah, I hadn't thought about the redraw issue. I'm not used in weapon sets (I don't play melee toons that much), so I imagine it may be too much to handle. Well, time will tell
  8. First: There are currently two costume options that are hero exclusive. There are also Red Cap Dual Blades, but Valentine events solved that problem. But, Epaulets and Cabal Hat remain unavailable to villains. My suggestion for Epaulets would be as an unlockable with the Invader accolade, which also fits thematically. The problem is I can't find a proper place for the Cabal hat. The Ice Mistral SF, perhaps??

Second: City of Demons. Mercy Islands are literally infected with demons. I'm not into dooom! posting and all, but when I decided to form a MM-only team, it turned out to be "Learn your MM 101" time. I always wondered why so many people never heard of Bodyguard. I logged with my MM and, after a quick research, I realized there is little to no indication in-game about bodyguard mode.

A very simple solution would be a fourth command icon, along with Attack, Heel and Follow, called Bodyguard and basically being /petcomall follow defensive.
A better solution IMO, would be to seperate Bodyguard from Supremacy, giving MMs two inherents powers, much like Controllers. it makes more sence actually as one buffs pets around you, the other buffs you when there are pets around you (in follow defensive).

    What do you think?

    Hmmm...IOs?

So the enhancement slotting interface was revamped. The slot bubbles were reduced in size, allowing was seems to be two more bubbles to be placed. IOs anyone???

    Incarnate Os that is...

    WM/Dark Synergy?

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering thought why WM is not that popular. Looking at the numbers, it seems to be equally powerful with popular sets like Stone Melee, but lighter on the blue bar, with 5% increased accuracy and solid AoE damage. Is there something I'm missing?
  11. Thanks for all the feedback guys . I decided to roll 2 trollers, an Earth/Storm and an Earth/TA. I'm currently playing them both and enjoying both. Only time will tell which one will become my favourite.

As for Plant trollers, yes, they're really good, but I'm waiting for Traps. I suspect that Tree of Life coupled with Triage Beacon will be all kinds of awesome.

    WM/Dark Synergy?

I'm not really into melee toons, but I decided to roll a new brute. I decided to go with WM for the disorient and I was wondering: Does WM disorient coupled with Oppressive Gloom give good mitigation? Is the combo viable? Also, does OG stack with its self for higher mags?
  13. I think BaB once said that we can have either a standard weapon and customizable powers, or customizable weapons and standard colour powers. Giving us both would be his worst nightmare.

Actually, yes. That was the point anyway. You only lose slotted enhancements/IOs and most badges.

However, while too complex, it could alternatively implemented like that: The system remembers your level when resetting your character. When you reach that level again, a pop-up shows asking whether you want to restore all IOs/Enh slotted before reset. If you click yes, you go to the final screen of respec (all enh in a tray, all powerslots empty). You get to slot your powers with enh acquired both before and after the reset. Just like respec, all enh left unslotted are sold for inf.

The point of the whole thing is to allow players to restart their characters as praetorians, choose resistance or loyalists and experience the new content. Even, if the same content is added as flashback missions, the whole playing experience would be severely gimped.
  15. IIRC, this has been suggested quite a few times already. Again /signed. It needs some fine-tunings, but would be extremely useful if implemented.

    Tanks a lot!

(Let's say the inner shell has max tanker HP, but only about 10-20% resistance to all damage types, and no ability to regenerate)
The main cannon can be targeted as well, which would have low HP, no ability to regenerate, but it can self revive after a long period of time, and moderate resistances to all damage types. Finally, there'd be the missile batteries and the multiple mini turret mounts with only minion HP and minor resistances at best.

Yes...everything is clear now... Tank GMs

  17. Here are 2 ideas I thought they would work well with the whole GR concept.
    First: Dual Names
It's highly likely that, when honorable hero, Cpt. Justice, goes Rogue, he doesn't go by his hero name, but adopts an alias, like Evil Evilness. So, what if we could select a secondary name for our toons? Basically, your original name appears when in Paragon City(heroes)/Rogue Islands(villains), your alias when you switch to the other side. When in Praetoria, you select which one to appear.

    Second: Character Reset Tool
I know I can just reroll my toons, but I would like to be able to play GR content, without losing all my progress (badges, unlocked costume pieces). So, I would like to have an option to reset my toon to lv1. You get to keep: holiday/event Badges, Unlocked Costume pices, costume change emotes, super group status, prestige, but you lose: contacts and missions, enhancements, all other badges, merits, salvage, insp, influence.

It's bug, actually. Female toons should have been able to have access to occult pattern, too.

Then again, males dont get anything even close to a wizard hat, which is annoying. But then women dont get a kilt option. Which is really rather daft. And no, skirts dont look the same, because a kilt is thigh length with no flare. The only skirt option which is thigh length is the flared skirt, which mostly just looks rediculous.

    Equality? Someday.
Oh, and IBGG (In before Golden Girl)
No Devs hate guys. Since when guys are too macho for shoulder animals??? Also, no dragon bracers. Srsly? And barbarians used to wear circlet thingies on their foreheads; why can't we? They're not tiaras (which they go on the head, BTW). And last but not least, tops and bottoms with skin for guys!!!

    New Travel Pools

Ok, here's my take on tunneling. After a digging animation and going underground (I don't think that will be that difficult; there is a similar animation when entering a snake hole), you transform in a mound of dirt. When moving, you leave a ground-cracking trail behind you that fades as you move on, like the fire trail disappears when super speeding. Tunneling will be a bit slower than SS, but it will grand Hide-level stealth, but you won't be able to attack, while those who manage to see you can. It makes sense, as you can't see your opponents while underground, while they the trail you leave behind. Now, what makes this power shine, is that it will be the safest form of traveling after fly, but considerably faster. Also, you get -jump while tunneling, so you wont be able to jump with only sprint and hurdle, but combat jumping and super jump enables you to jump again.

Also, about the rest of the pool:
    Tunneling:
    -*some single target attack*
-Burrow: placate power, similar to ninjitsu/smoke bomb, but not as strong
-Tunnel: travel power, +stealth, +speed, -jump, only affects self
-Soft Sand: you can only activate it while tunneling. PBAoE immob (mag3). This will be the only attack you can activate while tunneling.

You're right about the defense buff, but what do you mean by "offers more on top of that"? Some minor speed and jump buff?? Hover makes you fly and CJ gives REALLY good jump speed and height.

Equilibrium is less than half as effective as Acrobatics, and offers nothing else with it, either. It's a useless power, equivalent to a single IO.
Well, I'll have to agree here, too. Offering a huge defense buff for the pool's first power choice, and an IO for the tier4 (which requires two other powers BTW) is silly.

Spin Kick just seems like a filler power.
While, Jump Kick and/or Air Mastery are clearly not, right?

    Quote:
And Swinging itself is the exact same thing as Super Jump, just the opposite arc.
They function differently. SJ is a series of gigantic hops, while swinging is more of an equivalent to fly, except that you have to periodically press Space to stay airborne. Also, concept.
