Instead of porting us safely to the nearest Vanguard fort, I'd like to propose a different end to Mothership Raids:
Mag x1000 Repel Bomb us.
Add some kind of Pylons to the ship's inner circle that sparks and flutters during the raid. When the raid is about to end, the Rikti retreat (as they don't want to be Repelled themselves) and the sparking kicks up, as if something stuck is becoming unstuck... giving heroes in the 'bowl' about thirty seconds to retreat. Those who stay, be it Hovering Drone Pet or Rooted Stone Tank, get pitched into the air and away from the Mothership. The Repel bubble itself only exceeds the Force Field by about twenty-five feet; if a player happens to get tossed directly up, and lands back on the shield, they get sent to the Vanguard Fort.
But otherwise, anyone not making it out of the expanding bubble in time runs a risk of possibly landing in mob of surrounding Rikti.
