    Dark Control

    A Dark Control set would be awesome. I put this together using existing powers from Dark Miasma, Dark Blast, and Dark Armor. The set is pretty much a modified version of Dark Miasma. My only fear with running something like this is that it seems to really lack damage.

    6. Tar Patch - Ranged (Location AoE), Target -Speed -Res -Fly
    7. Black Hole - Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe Intangible
    8. Dark Pit - Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe Disorient
    9. Dark Servant - Pet, Ranged Debuff Special

    I don't understand your build at all. You seem like you have a lot of expensive sets just for the sake of having expensive sets. You lack any defense at all, or even high recharge for that matter.

    I'd rather have something like this where your soft capped to S/L with better recharge, and costs about 5% of your build.

  3. I have a FF/Ice I enjoy very much running with. With IO damage bonuses, Assault, Muscular Alpha, Reactive Interface, and Cryonic Judgment, I feel like I'm running a blaster with status protection. I also picked up the Destiny power Rebirth +Regen, so now I have a heal on top of status protection and soft capped defense. The AoE attacks in Ice actually do Blaster level damage. If you take Power Mastery, you can get Build up to put the icing on the cake with all of your other +dmg powers.

    Many people will put down Force Fields as a one trick pony, not being a debuff set. It's very easy to build your character to be able to put your team at the soft cap. Dispersion Bubble provides actual status protection, which is huge for non melee teammates. You get Repulsion Bomb, which besides an attack, it's also a knockdown/stun power. Much more to the set, but I'm not in the mood to write a guide.

    Just another set to think about if you just want to click and go, and not spend half the fight debuffing/healing.

    A lot of the responses have already pointed out certain flaws in your build, such as Acrobatics and overslotting of powers. I really think you should shoot for soft capped defenses. Numerically, you don't have much farther to go to do so. I changed some of your slotting around, also dropped Acrobatics and Unstoppable. Your now soft capped to S/L/E/N/F/C, good recharge, fully slotted attacks, high regen/recovery.

    Ya. I have 48% S/L defense on my blaster. I carry a full inspiration tray of greens every run. With all Defense and no Resistance, things that make it through my Defense hurts, especially when they come from Bosses. I run both Blazing Aura & Hot Feet. The Reactive Interface proc works wonders for these 2 powers. With Rain of Fire, Burn, Fire Sword Circle, and Fire Ball, mobs drop with the quickness, even Bosses. I play a S/L version of the popular Fire Cyborg farm, and can finish the mission solo in just over 5 minutes.

  16. This my INV/SS build. I'm softcapped to S/L/E/N/F/C, nearly 300% regen, high recovery/low endurance, and fully slotted fast recharging attacks.

    A few things that will stick out is that Dull Pain only has one slot. This is because I have the Incarnate power Rebirth: Regen which i use as my main heal. Conserve Power is only one slotted as well because I picked up the Cardiac Alpha. There are a few pricey pieces here but nothing like PVP IO or purple IO expensive.

    Hope this gives you a few ideas.

    My incoming damage didn't seem to increase with the confuse effect applied to me. I wasn't really looking at my combat attributes during the mish, just trying to kill and survive. One thing I forgot to mention was that my to-hit seemed to be debuffed at times.

    I noticed at times an increase in incoming damage. That may have been the result of invincibility being shut off as your talking about. There were a couple times that my health did drop to about 25% or so. If it wasn't for Rebirth: +Regeneration and, I'm pretty sure I would have died.

    My tactic was to kill the minion/lieutenants first, then finish the bosses. Once I killed the bosses, I did my best to get away from them so they couldn't Soul Transfer.

    Like I said, this is a very difficult mission. If it wasn't for a ridiculous IO'd build and Incarnate powers, I wouldn't like my chances. I can't see anything other than a Tank/Scrapper/Brute soloing this.

    I added the confuse to harry/turn off the super-heavy tanks, because it kills your +mitigation aura. Among other things. There's nothing like getting nuked by your own blaster, or watching the earth controller seize up half the team....

    Ya, I was confused a few times. If it wasn't for that, I would have cleared the map much faster. The bosses rez also stunned me a few times which surprised the hell out of me.

    It does seem like a very difficult mission if I were on my other toons. My tank is soft-capped to everything but Psionics, and I also have the Rebirth +Regen power. So it takes an awful lot to put him down.
  23. I just finished this with my Inv/SS tank in an hour set on +4x8 with bosses. No insp's, no temps, no deaths.
  24. Anything other than more pet powers. I want my character to actually be a man by taking damage and dishing it out, instead of being a woosy and calling for help.
