  1. Warshade's Shadow Cloak. I want to see my toon again!
  2. Trust me, read Dech's guild before you write off khelds.

slotting really isnt a HUGE issue... sure, you can't 6-slot everything under the sun, but you can get the ones you need where they need to be.
  3. I can't speak to PBs, only WS (and only that up to the mid 30s, so feel free to take with a grain of salt) But from what I've seen myself, and in other 'shades has been that those who restrict themselves to a single form are always the worst performing. Always.

Khelds are not WoW Druids, where you pick one form and specialize, never to change again. To be at your best here you need buffs from all the forms combined.

My average pack goes something like this:

    1) Stealth in while human-form (SS+shade stealth)
    2) cast Mire
    3) swap to Dwarf
    4) cast Dwarf Mire
    5) either to squid for small packs, or back to human for a Grav Well/Unchained combo for big
    6) mop up whatever is left standing (wont be much)
    7) Stygian circle to refill hp/end

Lather, rinse, and repeat. I don't even have Eclipse yet

There are very few cases were I will not make use of all three forms on a given pack of mobs.

EDIT: Read Dechs' MFing Warshade page... be enlightened, pwn some mobs, get cake

wow! that is a lot better, thank you

with the -5% to hit from RTtC it should be def capped vs everything but Psy, have 1100+% regen and enough recovery to choke a wide necked animal.

    Is this good or crap?

  7. Global: @Haemophage

previous main: Haemophage (50 dm/regen scrapper)

Current mains: Blue: Aphelia (MFing warshade, 33), Red: Tech Support (41 rob/traps, best toon name for a villain EVER!)

I've been on guardian since launch, excluding a 3 year hiatus which I just returned from. Currently looking for an SG for both Red and Blue (I play both about equally). I love teaming (especially on the WS.... 300 damage aoes in squid form are win). I have no idea what's going on here these days and have been trying to fill up my friends list with awesome people.

So if you are looking for a spare body to fill up a TF, or just smack around a mission or three, give me a tell
  8. I fear it is just a case of flavor trumping good mechanics.

any chance of seeing that build? I've been trying to put together a non-sucking tank for a while and... well... I epicly fail at mids.

it was your guide that made me want to try a WS again (last time I tried was shortly after they came out, and they felt gimp as hell then... now I'm a raging train of death and lols)
  12. thanks, that was kinda what I was thinking.

things sure change when you take nearly 4 years off from the game.
  13. or should I wait till 50 to start slotting that into gravity well? would the set bonus be much use before I'm rocking lvl 50 IOs? (I only have about 40 mill, so it would be tight to afford the 4 enhancements needed to get the recharge out of the set)
  14. Bacon, or jerky.... GO!
  15. i was thinking of something that could be given to defenders and not ctrls that would help out.

    Critical Buffs and/or debuff removal.

Critial Buff, have a 5-10% chance of getting double values on your buff/debuff. not the biggest thing but it will help out in the same way crits helped scrappers.

Debuff removal, give every set a power with a good chance (75% or more) to remove a debuff from a target. So if that regen scrapper gets nailed with a -regen debuff you can remove it but a ctrl couldnt.

just throwing the ideas out there... what do you all think?
  16. dont meen to participate in thread necromancy.... but do you have a BI for normal Tornado? both the defender and ctrl versions from the storm set.

    1. SJ/SS have worked this way since launch and yet only now is it so much of a problem that it had to be fixed.

    2. Disciplines were given nearly double duration because of the problems squishes had with mez, but only NOW are they being replaced with break frees that have a substantially lower duration which has the curious effect of making mez effects viable in PvP.

    3. MoG and Elude getting changed although many regens and SR players don't respec out of all their other powers, unlike Unstoppable, but DO take on all comers in PvP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    1. Actually, we've tweaked SS in the past; the issues with SJ have slowly evolved over time.

    [/ QUOTE ]

then can you please explain what the PvE issues with SS/SJ are exactly? Ive tried jousting with SJ (never taken SS) and it cant be done (or i simply lack the connection speed to do it)... I cant get in, attack, and get out again before whatever im hitting can initialize a melee attack.
  18. Haemophage

    Blaster Damage

I have to say that blasters should most definatly have a 500% cap, but you cant lower scrappers cap to 400% without putting Super Strength and Energy Melee above several scapper primaries in terms of DPS.
  19. a couple questions....

    first about the travel/end HO's....

we know the travel part is messed up, but does the end reduction part provide full HO value?

im thinking it will be a cheap way to slot up Focused Accuracy when i cant get Cytoskeletons.

Second, does anyone know if Spine Burst suffers from the same HO range bug as the cone attacks?
  20. im glad that a blaster in my SG wants it for Total Focus.

i would hate to waste it on something like Touch of Fear.
  21. then why are they in such low demand? i would think every grav and ice controller, dark defender and maybe the odd ice blaster would want one yet they seem to be only slightly more valuable then the travel HO's

if it wasnt such a dang long run to 45 i would start up a grav/* just so i could pick them up cheep
  22. anyone have any experiance with putting Peroxisome's (dam/mez) in controlling pets like Sings, dark fluffies and Jacks instead of regular Damage SO's? I would imagine a Sing with a couple of these would be lethal in PvP
  23. Haemophage

    Boss Changes

States, can you also take a look at the crazy amount of bosses in the respec trial (namely the Freaks version).

I was doing this with som SG buddies, lowest level 37, highest 41... bosses were level 45/46. we were unable to get TO the reactor, let alone defend it agaisnt the tanks. With 3 scrapers and 2 blasters were were unable to do enough damage to outdo their heal delta due to misses.

I /bugged it but havent heard back

    More answers....

any chances of getting a look at the self rez powers? its been raised before that most players rate these at "extreemly situational" at best, "down right crappy" at worst and can easily be replaced by an awaken. We know the devs dont want any method of rezing to reduce debt so what would be the advantages to taking a rez power over keeping an awaken around?
