Meet and Greet for Guardian

Hello everyone on Guardian, I am Kragothe (global @Kragothe). I have been playing City of Heroes on the Guardian server since the week the game was released. I really enjoy this game and it is a great social outlet. I do not socialize much due to a chronic illness, which is not what I am here to discuss and is beside the point. I tend to have some groups I play with, but I want to become more active and get to know more people on the Guardian server. So please post on here a greetings and a short introduction to yourself so I can get to know everyone better and make some new CoH friends.

My introduction: I am not really sure what to say, I like to play all aspects of this game. I tend to prefer tanks and controllers but will play any of the other archetypes and I am always up for a team. Anything else you want to know just ask. If you want to team look me up on Guardian of course! I love a good challenge too, so if you have a rather difficult task do not hesitate to ask if I will help.

I have been here from the begining myself. Not sure if I have teamed with you. But I have 2 accounts @Blood Beret and @Hell Bob and about 25 50's if not more on the server. Some of my more rememberable toons are:

i'm on disability and that does limit my amount of playing time more then you would think. i have son and daughter as well as ex.

My first toon, first tank, and first toon to 50 is Morr Gan [inv/ss] a pnp mutants and masterminds character i had been playing with friends. i have altititis somethin' awful, 36 toons, and not certain how many of each archtype i have on guardian. i know i have 8 tanks: 3 inv; 3 will; 1 stone; and 1 electric. i have 1 pb and no stalkers or brutes, despite trying several; otherwise the blasters, controllers, scrappers, dominators & dominatrixes, masterminds, and corruptors tend to change.

i also started the sg league of faeries for all my pixies and a friend's, as well as, other magical toons.

I have been in game for 5 years i think... my boyfriend started playing since the beginning but has since stopped.. he got me into this game when he let me play on his account and then it got to the point i was cutting into his playing time and finally told me to "getmy own F@#$%^ account" maybe a little nicer then that but that was the just of it hehe... I enjoy playing when I can and love all the people i have met in game and out...
my original name was supposed to be Neferteri but i was trying to type tooo ofast and misspelled the name... so Nerf it is or its nothing hehe

My name is Shadow Ravenwolf. I am a Level 50 Mutated Goofball... er Tanker. I've been in Paragon City since 2005 and in the forums here since later that year.

I have a wide variety of characters from most Archetypes. I have roughly 25+ Lvl 50s and nearly 200 characters spanning several accounts. At the core, I maintain around 40 Guardian characters that are in playable condition and nearly 30 more that are in different stages of being placeholders to budding lowbies with plans on getting out of Atlas.

I am the Founder and Leader of The Wolf Pack Elite (Heroes) and Cataclysmic Evolution (Villains). While we have branches across all US Servers, we focus here on our homer server Guardian. (*looks at other members* Yes, one day I am going to finish fixing what I broke in the Base...)

My play schedule is erratic at best. I work rotating 12-18 hour shifts on the weekends and will be resuming my college courses in January if financing goes through. I usually play late evenings and overnight, but that changes without notice. Flipping between a Day/Night schedule has left me somewhat of an outsider. I don't quite fit into the world around me anymore.

I try to be friendly and outgoing when I can, but I've really become somewhat of a hermit the past year. I am usually farming, playing the markets, or just passed out over my keyboard getting my daily QWERTY-fied forehead.

If I had a better schedule, I would probably run more TFs, catch a Hami Raid Weds Night, or so, but I keep missing most of the stuff I used to do.

Hiyas, I have been playing for just over 4 years now and have enjoyed my time. I currently don't play as much as I would like to, due to school, work and the military all wanting a piece of my time...oh and family too.

I've been playing since May 2004, almost gave up playing after my mom passed away later that year, but decided to keep playing to get at least one toon to 50 (my namesake), and just kept going (up to 13? 50s now). This server and the people here are really my second home and family. I just never tell them how much I've appreciated them over the years.

My playtime has diminished from daily to a couple of times a week, mostly on weekends, but I usually appear when new stuff comes out, if I'm not busy exploring strange new MMOs or some other offline activity.

Greetings and salutations....

I am @Armeros and I have been a resident of the Guardian server now for 6 years +. I was introduced to the game by my best friend (and best man at my wedding). He no longer plays (is on active duty currently in Iraq) and he tried to connect over there with very little success so he moved on to WoW. Still trying to get him to get back into the game once his deployment ends next year.

I don't play that many toons, although I have 15-20 on the server. I am 99% blue side (although once I move my main over redside, I will be there for a bit to get all those badges). I have 3 Level 50 toons (yes 3 in 6 years...I am a bit slow on that front). I love to play my blaster and 90+% of the time, I will use that toon. I have some controllers and defenders that I play as well. I don't do scrappers or tanks very well, so while I have them on the roster, I tend not to run with them much.

I am mostly a weekend player, usually in the mornings. Although if there is something that I really want to do, I can get on during the week in the evenings. I am in the Eastern Time Zone (Florida). I am the self appointed "Park Ranger of the Shadow Shard" and I love to run those Shadow Shard TF's. Hopefully once I get back from my trip to Colombia next month, I will start running a weekly run in 2011 for those weekend warriors such as myself! I am also the admin for the City of Heroes Guardian Group on Facebook (which is the largest server group on Facebook...188 members and still growing!!) Not everyone is on Facebook, but I update it with events that will be going on in game, etc. It's another place to be able to put a face to the toon.

The Guardian community is special in so many ways. But, in the end it is like a second family for many of us. Somewhere where we can be ourselves and enjoy playing with good friends and have fun. That in the end is what it's all about, because not having fun and paying $15 a month would not be really good now would it!

Any which way, I am a lazy player, and I have been around for a litte while. I have a ton of characters, usually controllers and defenders, though you might catch me on my spiders or masterminds. Also, I may be a bit mad, since I tend to play 5 to 6 characters at a time. I have five complete teams now, and some more in the works. If you ever need filler, and no one else is around, I can take those 5 open spots o.o

BBT is my nickname in game, most of the time, and I love my kittens. If I was not at work on my phone, I would be at home taking pictures of them with my phone, so I could post them to your thread. Look me up if you ever want to team, or want cute pictures of fuzzy cattens ^_^

Hey there! My name is Sirken. I started playing COH about a year and half ago. A RL friend got me hooked on the game. Together he and I started and run the Guard Post 1138 SG. I tend to solo mostly but am, like you, trying to reach out more and meet more people on the game.

Hello,

My main character is Azure Lightstar.

But I also play the following on Guardian:
Mudflow, Airmid, and Cadmium Redd.

I was introduced to the game by some great friends, most of which I still team with. My friends and I love trying out every aspect of the game, most recently getting involved in running large events like the Rikti Raid and the CoP Trial. I also like running the Imperious Taskforce.

Let's see, I like to roleplay my character when possible, but usually never to the point of interfering with another's gameplay. I especially love a good story with strong characters. But most of all, I just want the game to feel like it's a comic book, and I want to feel like a hero or villain when I'm playing.

But what really shaped the player that I am (and want to be) is an event that happened early in my game history. A few years ago, I was invited to a Stateman Taskforce as a pick up player by several veteran players. I was a little awe-struck by them at the time. But those veterans were extremely nice and helpful to me, especially since this was my first time playing in the Stateman Taskforce. It was a blast!

I told myself then, those veterans were the type of player I want to become--helpful, fun-loving, and easy-going (maybe even experienced and powerful too). I think most of those veterans are gone now, but some of them pop back in from time to time. I think this game has a habit of drawing people back "home".

On MY journey to become a "veteran", I'm finding a great bunch of "new" veterans too, whom I greatly enjoy chatting with and teaming with.

Who knows? Someday, just someday, someone will be replying to a similar forum post, reminiscing about a team that I lead.

All my characters end with the word Nova (well, all except 1).
I am always spreading chaos wherever I go.
I am always trying to steal all of Casa's debt.
I am always spilling coffee on my friends.
I am always stalking Pepsiman.
I am always getting lost.

Hi I am Mistress Noire (Nickname ive had since Highschool lol) but everyone calls me Noire or Guardian's cookie Mistress whichever you prefer ... I started playing back in April of 2004, was still living in Canada at the time where I am from but now I live in the midwest of the US of A! ~ Met my husband 6.5 years ago though CoH and been together ever since (we married Valentines 2005) so be coming up on 6yrs married and 7 married to CoH! lol
