What I mean is the seeming lack of being able to play once I hit the high 40s unless I solo. Yes, I can team, and try to. I may even be able to use a power once in a while. But most of the time it feels like "OK, judgement. Now you use judgement. Now judgement #3. Oh, another judgement. Hey, the first one's recharged. Yo, judgement. OK, judgement. LOLJudgement." No "Hey, this can be tricky if you get that other group up top" - nope, just Judgement, Judgement, Judgement.

Meanwhile I'm trying to self-buff, or use them to buff the team, or, oh, I don't know, USE one of my powers before everything's dead. It's rare for me to have a non-Incarnate team (or a team with just one, say.)

And it's not just judgement. Why bring a buffer along when someone can just fire off one of their Destiny powers?

And yeah, I can (and used to) ask for people not to - which led on rare occasion to someone not, but usually someone dropping team or making snide remarks. Well, y'know, I'm sorry but I actually do want to use *my* character's powers on my own arcs, not sit back and watch as other people nuke spawns one after the other. If that's all I wanted, I'd find a PL farm and sit at the door. Or, for another example, I do want to actually feel like I'm actually contributing more than another body on an ITF.

We know the devs can disable stuff in non-Incarnate arcs. Why weren't these brought down to a somewhat lower-but-still-powerful level outside of Incarnate trials/arcs? We'd still be "more powerful," but to a more reasonable level in non-Incarnate content.

Really, these are just making the high-end game less fun for me. I've started parking characters in the 40s, or just soloing and ignoreing strike/task forces. And that's frustrating.

I kind of hope, with people going premium, that the situation gets better, but right now it's just really, really annoying.

    /venting off.
This is what I love about it. Steamrolling through mobs is a blast and I love it.

This. Set it to maximum deifficulty and the team will slow down or die. Incarnates are meant to be powerful.
  3. Personally, I like the large (greater than 8) raid setting, if the map can handle it. BAF can handle 24, UG can not. I have not done the Winter Event but I assume it is outdoors so I would be all for 12 or greater.
  4. What a great event. I added a link to the site to our SG website.

How does it create that perception?? When you go to the LFG tab you can clearly see there are many more trials/raids available to you when you get to a higher level. When you look at your map you can see there are many more zones so logic would tell you that if this zone has a zone specific trial perhaps the others do as well.

This is just the flavor for the month to complain about much like AE was.
  6. I run some characters through it all the way to 26 for the SO drops. Low level SOs can make a huge difference in the Posi TFs or other random low level missions.

I love slaw on my dogs as well. Only way to go!
  8. I do not agree with the OP but I can see his point. Fortunately, there is no reason you have to do the Winter Event to progress your character. Sure you can make the arguement that you like to get the badges but any dedicated badge hunter can tell you there are alot of things you have to do for badges that are not very enjoyable.
  9. You are going to have trouble with Lord Recluse no matter what build you come up with. The towers give him such a huge buff that he can drop you in melee before your regen has time to get you ready for the next attack. My advice, stock large purples and a few greens for the fight. What has worked for me when dealing with LR is to hover taunt. By hovering out of melee he only has access to his range attacks which do not recharge as quickly.

    Good luck!
  10. I don't know about /ice but my WP/Stone is slotted for +HP. I have max HP and a regen rate that is amazing. Takes alot to bring him down in both PvE and PvP.
  11. Why let it bother you. Why should you care if they are not seeing every zone in the game and experiencing any or all story arcs outside of the Sewer Trial. If you team with them in a TF or Trial it will quickly become obvious if they do not know what they are doing and in that case you can either a) kick them or b) make fun of them (my favorite).

    Fright Fest!

The Arc was fantastic. I hope to see a Part 2 sometime.
  13. I would endorse the map being an Unlockable map in AE though.

Agreed. It is a wonderfully done event and I enjoy running it but hate to see it over used. They should just work on producing these kind of high quality events for all the holiday and seasonal occasions.

    Pieces of Win

Unlock the Patron Pools so we do not have to run those arcs anymore unless we want to.
  16. I noticed as well because the SG Recruitment forums are gone as well. Kind of a shame because I kept the same post alive there since 2005 .

I can not take the credit, was a good league that listened.

You ran Keyes in 30 minutes but I'm sure a majority if not almost all of them were level shifted or had a few incarnate powers already. That's a very different experience than you would have of you ran it with Alpha only or no incarnate power unlocked toons. By removing the E merits from BaF/Lambda, players would flock to Keyes and UG. When ill equipped incarnates or toons without Alpha want to run a trial they will have to run whatever trial has the bodies. I've been on BaFs with such teams and they weren't a walk in the park, I can't only imagine attempting a run at Keyes with such a team makeup.
I am unsure if all 24 were +3, I know I was. At least 3 were not +3 since they unlocked 2 incarnate slots during the trial. Personally, I would avoid trials before slotting my Alpha. It is easy to get shards to do that.

One thing I do notice, if more people would learn to form and lead trials then there would be plenty of BAFs and Lambda. I have been T4 in all slots (to include 3 tier 4 Lore pets and 5 Tier 3) for a long time and I still run trials whenever I can. iXp and e-merits are not the motivation. Many players like the large raid environment just like myself.
  18. Ran a easy 30 minute Keyes Trial on Virtue last night. Been a couple months since I had ran it so I am unsure what all the complaining about the trial is about. 2 e-merits for such a short time invested. We were so successful we ran a UG afterwards. Not as quick but went breezed through it.

If the Devs actually read these threads, it is not as bad as some like to make it out to be.
  19. Well done! I hope we will see some kind of Zookeeper Mastermind set at some point
  20. Awesome, congratulations! I know a few couples who met through CoH. Have a wonderful life together.

I am in the 30s with my Traps defender just doing Sewer Trial and plan to shoot for 50 on just this trial. It is possible and the best thing is SO drops that you can use all the way to 50.
  22. As long as there is a massive axe or hammer I will buy it.
  23. Thanks for posting these Zombie.

I really like this pack. Not sure there is anything I would use on current toons but I can see alot of uses in future alts.
