Jack Wolfe is the man who trained Blue Steel.

    No, it isn't

Plus, it could be very bad publicity - "here's out new expansion pack - and by he way, we're down from 15 servers to 2"

No idea if such a thing would be possible, but it might solve some problems.
That would be a pretty big change - although one dev did mention ages and ages ago about a serverless environment being something they'd love to see.

Thinking about it, it could be some sort of enhanced search/availability feature that makes finding teams a lot easier.

There will be some new mission variations for sure - and maps

I don't care what contact you are running arcs through at some point they feel the absolute need to throw in one mission where the actual villain group the contact has you dealing with battles COT. Seems l;ike they feel some need to constantly remind us "Hey Circle of Thorn are a MAJOR villain group in game"
Which is kinda odd, as the trend seems to be do reduce their presence - first they were totally kicked out of Faultline, then they were squeezed in the Hollows with the zone revamp, with the Legacy Chain, plus rival gangs, moving in on their turf.
Perez Park seems about the only place where they're really strong now.

we are looking at designing an in-game system that will help solve the problem. One of my big personal goals is bringing people together, and this will help with that agenda. (How's that for vague? What can I tell you, it's "in development.")
I'm trying to think what this could be...

But it could also cause some problems - like you get a TF invite, and you have to turn it down because you need to do the Troll rave event to get a certain Incarnate item, so you're just hanging out in SKyway until it starts
  13. Or maybe something like the new zone-event-spawning-a-GM-spawning-an-instance style that Lord Winter's realm introduced to the game?

I'd already suggested something like thtát as a revamped normal zone event - like for the Steel Canyon fires, the Hellions are using the fires as part of a ritual to summon a fire demon - you'd defeat a set number of arsonists, which would unlock an instance of the burning building - inside you'd havea time limit to destroy altars/pentagrams/glyphs that they'd set up - once you'd done that, a GM fire demon would spawn, which you'd also have to take down within a time limit.

Or the Troll rave in Skyway City - defeat the ravers outside to spawn an instance of the rave warehouse - inside, defeat Supatrolls and destroy drug stashes to spawn a huge, mutated Supatroll GM.

Or a new one in Brickstown - an Arachnos Flyer would spawn and drop Arachnos soldiers into the Zig - once you'd defeated enough of them, an instance of the Zig interior would spawn - inside, you'd have to defeat various generic Villains like the ones we meet in the Safeguard missions, and then back outside, we'd have to take down the Flyer.

"Poison and Destroy Food for the Needy" - that title's just epic level evil - does anyone else think that might have been written after the complaints about CoV not letting you be really bad? Like the devs thought "not evil enough, you say? Try this"

I not so sure - I think most people will just be happy to have it in a working state

  19. Here's something from the PAX Q&A that I've not seen mentioned yet, when talking about how GR zone designs are made to tell the story of Paretoria:

    Quote:
"as you're flying over one Praetroian island to the next"
Which I think is a pretty big clue as to how they're going to handle the lack of war walls.

At PAX East - it was something they said was on their whiteboard/to-do list.
  23. Reichsman was originally captured and kept in suspended animation in the Freedom Phalanx's main base in Boomtown, which was then destroyed/buried in the first Rikti invasion.

Reichsman's new base is described as being under Boomtown during the BTF, and it might even be built from the ruins of his former prison.

The 5th Column vs Council fights feature the 5th Column mocking the Council and their base on Striga Isle, saying their base is in the heart of Paragon City itself.

I think the chances of a Boomtown revamp as part of the evolving 5th Column storyline are pretty high.

Hehe... I honestly have no idea... But I also can't wait to find out!

(Well... Okay... I can wait... *sigh*)
Access to Praetoria via the Super Computer? That kinda looks like the screen Statesman and Desdemona are using in the GR trailer

EDIT: Or may linked to the zone events used for the Incarnate system?

It'd only use Council cave maps, and each mission would involve us having to rescue her from the jail section.
