  1. I have a build for you;

    It is as high a price as I could warrant but you seem from your build to want that.

    Softcapped to S/L/E/N and 32.8% F/C defense so one purple off softcap.

    Recharge is at 138.8% and with Spiritual core Paragon is 1.6 seconds off Perma Hasten.

    Comfortably handles the top ST chain of Midnight Grasp -> Smite -> Siphon Life -> Smite.

    It has (with assault, the un-needed toggle) 2.377 End/Sec net recovery with every toggle active in combat which coupled with Dark Consumption can afford to get Spiritual aswell as Rebirth +Regen to give even more Regen and a good strong heal for big burst damage.

    580% Regeneration with one enemy in range of RTTC which is 49.2 HP/Sec and can reach 1127% which is 92.24 HP/Sec fully saturated.

    Good S/L resistance at 50.6 which can be boosted upto 70% with SoW.

  2. AHA! I think I have done it

    Moved a slot out of stamina which gave meniable hit points and moved it to health for double the recovery 15% instead of 7% aswell as ofcourse the numina Regen/Recov is there too.

    End/Rech was removed from energize and moved to Tactics (which replaces your secondary travel power (not really needed) so pick which one you like) so I managed to stick two rectified reticles in there.

    Also changed the blinding feint slotting to keep high accuracy and ED capped damage but slot kinetic combats with two Mako's to get rid of weaknesses with the KC set.

  3. Yes I thought from your slotting in lightning field you may want be wanting to sap the enemies dry. Its just a consideration but I'm not sure without using a GA Unique what else could be changed, other idea was a Kinetic Combat set in Blinding feint but that would cut down ALOT on accuracy and the Rectified reticle would have to be swapped out but that would mean a gain of about 1.875 over your current build, maybe if you swapped a few slots around and got rid of some that you may not need you could fit in more defense.
  4. Swapped End Mod set in Power Sink for Perfect Zinger, shaved off useless slot on Energize the End/Rech, and the 2 Def/End/Rech you were using to get another set of kinetic combat in Boxing.

    Also you don't need the KB protection in your travel powers since grounded provides more than enough protection.

    Also I added the Numina Unique in Health for abit more Regen and Recovery.

    Now has 45.1% S/L

  5. So, thinking of a new character to make a /Electric armour seems pretty fun and great on endurance to fit in spiritual and some recharge for a good attack chain.

    I've also never tried Fire Melee out properly and seems pretty good since I've got plenty of SS/* Chars and don't want another DM/* toon at the moment.

    I went Soul Mastery for some Gloomy Goodness and Dark Obliteration, which is slotted for tohit de buff can could still be useful to toss out there especially in iTrials and amongst Defence De buffs for abit of mitigation.

    Planned Attack chain with Spiritual T4 (Most likely settle on T3 for awhile) has a slight 0.139 second gap for;
    Gloom -> Incinerate -> Greater Fire Sword
    1.32+1.848=3.168 but need 3.307 to meet GFS recharge.

    Seems tolerable having an ever so slight gap since I don't see that ever getting eliminated without throwing purples into the equation and other expensive goodies.

    Planning Spiritual, Probably Reactive, Rebirth +Regen and Some cool new lore pet in 20.5 For incarnate powers.

    S/L is softcapped with 45.1% defense, E/NE/F/C is fairly negligible but not too concerned about Energy damage due to Hardcapped defense and Energize being
    up every 32.9 Seconds which is pretty decent but would be used whenever possible to cover endurance costs and the regeneration is fairly useful especially once i get Rebirth up near perma aswell giving me some pretty good Regeneration.

    Power Sink, hopefully won't be needed too often with Energize only down near 3 seconds but with it taunt slotted for set bonuses but still up whenever I need, with energize Net Endurance Gain is 1.7 so quite respectable.

    Someone posted it only about two days ago and I made some tweaks and it ended up looking pretty crazy.

    Definitely uberly high priced but has some great features;

    Softcap to S/L/E/N and one purple off the F/C Softcap with some pretty decent psi defence at 26.5%

    Runs top chain comfortably once you grab Spiritual and nearly gets it before with 138.8% recharge.

    Also im baffled as to what to pick at 49 it empty, so grab whatever you want maybe Super speed for double travel powers if you want or revive (like you would need it with a build like this haha)

  9. Managed to squeeze out softcap to energy/negative also.
    If you go core paragon its a much better choice and this manages a one second downtime on hasten with it.
    Didn't increase Fire/Cold since its one purple off the softcap for a fairly rare damage type and it could drop a slot in hasten and get upto 36.5% losing 2 seconds on hasten and 2.5% recovery.

    also I have no clue what to do with the last power I managed to free up at 49 so that's up to you you could maybe fit assault but endurance may be a bit worse or just grab a second travel power.

    Dropped the purple set also but only about 2.5% recharge loss and also the damage slot in soul drain its not really needed and helped the rest of the build.

    Also the enzymes are just there for abit more endurance a trade off of 2 HP/Sec for 0.13 less endurance reduction.

  10. This is what I would use, 130% recharge with hasten and if you go T4 spiritual it is only 4 seconds off perma-hasten.

    Defense is softcapped to s/l with 45.8% defense then 33.6% energy/Negative energy so one purple off of the softcap same with fire defense which is at 32.6%.

    with rage which is perma, chance to hit +4s is 95% with all but punch, but that wont be used much anyway since I added gloom and dark obliteration, since gloom is awesome for a single target attack chain.

  11. The best bet for farming is recharge, AoEs, bit of defense.

    im a strong advocate of cardiac and mu mastery since the extra damage far outweighs the extra recharge of spiritual since recharge has a high rate of diminishing returns over 200% so additional attacks help more than your attacks coming up at longest about 2 seconds faster.

    also about the taunt set slotting. its only done in single target attack powers for the amazing set bonuses since between aoes clicks and inspirations you won't need or get the chance to use them since in a farm Some AoE will always outdo any ST damage.

    the rule of thumb for farming builds though is a minimum of 20% defense then completely build up recharge as high as possible including set muling half your powers like 6 slotting kick with KB sets and ST attacks with taunt sets.

    Elec/Fire isn't going to be a very efficient farmer. Too little aoe on too long a timer. Lightning Rod is cool, but the recharge is way too long, and the radius 7 on Thunder Strike is a bit too small for my taste.
    was that serious? elec/fa is mathematically the second most efficient famer. my elec/fa eats up 54/8 cyborgs with ease with 5 AoEs and 32.5% complemented by perma hasten. he doesnt even need insps just an occasional heal since they melt fast spamming 4 AoEs nonstop with cardiac and lightning rod every 24 or so seconds.

    Your argument is so unjustified since nobody only takes thunderstrike and LR and sits there staring at a wall while LR reharges queing thunderstrike.

    Also thunderstrike in a farm is almost guaranteed for a FF proc to go off aswell as some soft mitigation unlike fire which isn't very popular among brutes and only has one AoE

    Runs Top Chain Smite->SL->Smite->MG and built for Spiritual Alpha and Ageless incarnate to cover the endurance gaps whilst ending up 1 second shy of perma hasten.

  14. I had a look and it needed some adjusting, dropped char for fire blast so you have a functioning ST chain and gets some more recharge (you can swap ring of fire for Char but the hold set is just pretty expensive but you can take it if you want since it would be decently useful when purple'd), its perma hasten with the t4 spiritual but the endurance looks pretty nasty so I would probably go for cardiac unless your getting t4 ageless in which case the +recovery from it perma'd would probably mean your fine and definitely get the +end accolades.

    The KB protections did nothing for you so got rid of them, then this has Perma double stacked AD with 88.9% DDR making you as high as it really goes unless you scrape a few percent more in battle agility but I tried to get you a few more recovery bonuses here and there since there was a fair few spare slots floating around

    The FF Proc in Shield Charge does nothing either since it spawns a pseudo pet which steals your 100% Recharge bonus.

  15. So i made this build and am looking for some critique on anything i could do to make it better.

    I'm not looking to use the pvp +def proc or the expensive purples like Ragnarok and Apocalypse but this seems great atm no +rech is needed, just wondering if i should change anything.

    It will end up running Reactive dot so thats why i'm going for sleet and ice storm and it will be nice with Carrions too.
    Not sure about the last slot in carrions the acc/rech seems about right since it doesn't inherit my massive +accuracy global bonuses and 10 seconds or so less on the recharge is always nice.

    Any input would be nice.

  16. So I thought this would be a great combo and set out making a build.

    It is set to have spiritual t3 +45% recharge which is what i will go for initially and maybe sometime t4, I will also be using Reactive for the Rain of Fire nuke every 18 seconds or so.

    When I made the build I completely forgot about flares... which has got great dpa and dps and I hear Flares->Fire Blast-> Blaze is the best single target attack chain. So I just stuck it in and did a bit of frankenslotting to get it to at least 90% damage with some decent accuracy but I have tons of global accuracy bonuses anyway but i was hoping you guys could have a look and help me reallocate slots to get the best build.

    Also cost isn't much of an issue i just don't want to spend a lot of money for attack purple sets I have the Immobilise set since it is fairly cheap but don't really want to go for the likes of Apocalypse and Ragnarok.

  17. So while the servers were down I thought would make myself a second build for my ss/fa/mu farmer and this is what I came up with:
    I would be running T3(until I maybe get t4) 45% end reduction/ Range increase and also the almighty Reactive dot 75% T3.
    I will be going the barrier route for a panic button and when the non DDR softcap gets ripped to shreds by Romans.

    What I wanted was the s/l softcap with good recharge but without the need for purple sets (I may consider them now my farmer is up and running but only if it is for a noticable increase) or the PVP +3% IO which I really don't want to cough up 3 billion for right now.

    This build seems alright to me but feel free to make any changes to help me make it better.

    One thing I'm wondering is how useful dark obliteration will be for damage with the -to hit buff set in but with all the damage bonuses flying about i reckon it will be fine with a nice -to hit bonus so I get hit less.

    Interesting stuff I didn't notice that, will definitely get that implemented once I get to 50 don't think anyone thought about swapping out smite for fire blast before I certainly never did.

    Also great stuff there Iggy really nice build and not too expensive.

    Do you guys think that the build would be fine running Spiritual Alpha once it is finished and Dark Consumption would be reliable enough along with probably Ageless Destiny at some point for more +rech +end and +recov.

    Was thinking with Spiritual at atleast T3 its only 3 seconds shy of perma Hasten and only 3 seconds downtime on soul drain with Dark consumption recharging in 53 seconds it could be possible without a tray of blues all the time.

    Also does anyone have the Ageless destiny on an end heavy toon and does it help? since with even more recharge it could be about as high recharge as possible for most powers. once Ageless is high tier, the +recov and instant end bar refill could fill the time between Dark Consumption being available and running out of end.

  19. Does anyone have a good softcapped, good recharge build which is not maniacally expensive?

    I see how much more a build can be boosted with a +3% glad armour IO but i'm not sure i'm mad enough to do grind out 300 alignment missions for it and still have to pay a ton for a build.

    I think my original build seems alright, not too expensive and with cardiac should solve end problems but spiritual could make it much better but end would be kind of hard to handle.

    Could someone help me make a great DM/SD which isn't maxed out with every purple and pvp enhance known to man?
  20. So I decided I may aswell go for DM/SD since I can AOE all I want with my elec/sd and its worth giving high ST DPS a try.

    Could someone please take a look at this build I made and help me make a few adjustments, it is .3 under aoe cap but is over for everything else, so it seems a bit of an end hog without cardiac since I may go spiritual for the +rech since t4 can put me at perma hasten and about two seconds for souldrain if I could handle dark consumption every 50 seconds.

  21. So I already have a level 50 Elec/SD scrapper and feel like going for another /SD toon but with more ST damage, something to deal some good DPS.

    Fire seems good for lots of ST damage with FSC for some AoE potential along with maybe fireball and of course shield charge.

    I hear DM/* isn't great for AoE but ST is top notch and i wouldnt sniff at full soul drain and AAO to crush lots of targets fast along with also, shield charge and maybe a epic AoE, AoE isnt so bad since i20 with judgement available to everyone providing much greater capability for AoEs as every 90 seconds i would be able to wipe out a spawn pretty easily and before they fix ION could get a fully buffed AAO and Soul drain super nuke.

    The only thing i was wondering was soul drain needing lots of enemies to make it better than a FM/* with build up.

    So far i have a build i would probably choose for FM/SD which is basically Fury Flechette's build modified for inherent stamina and adding in aid self and OWtS.

    Just wondering based on the budget I would be using for the fire/SD. What could I get for a DM/SD, Which could match or better the performance but on the same level without PVPs or Purples, I would get anything but them, and possibly the +debuff resistance Hami-Os if i would play the character enough.

  22. Thanks for that i will respec into it at 50, im guessing with the IOs giving end reduction,stamina and uniques that conserve power wont really be needed so if in long fights i can keep my endurance up its fine.
    Its a good build for a relatively cheap amount of money (apart from LoTgs will buy from merits.)
    I took a miracle from aid self losing a whole 2.5% recovery :O (put in a numina for abit more regen from +hp) and put it in hasten so only has 7 seconds downtime which is great and if i feel a need to spend a ridiculous amount of money i can shave off another 4 seconds in exchange for my arms .

    i noticed how much accolades help end recovery, so will definitely get atlas medallion when i hit 47 waiting for bids to come in and some time get around to killing all the praetorian AVs and get some more +endurance.

    i did put 3 GoTAs in agile to get another 2% recovery for stealing it from aid self.

  23. OK for the last few days i've been thinking about making a claw/sr as my next scrapper.
    I couldn't find builds which included medicine and were softcapped with decent recharge so i thought i would just make one (with no super expensive purples) this is what i came out with, any advice would be appreciated about different sets or power choices, this isn't really a pylon/av solo'er or anything just a fun character to play but also as good as i can get with the medicine+softcap.

    hmm noticed hasten only suffers about 8 seconds recharge inbetween it only having two slots would hate to respec just to move one slot but worth it for the softcap just incase i need it.
