claw/sr build advice please
anyone?
Assuming you're using Ninja Run as your travel power, it's a decent enough build. Personally, I'd change the common defense IOs in Dodge and Lucky into LotG Defense IOs for an extra 20% regen, and replace the Adjusted Targeting recharge in Follow Up with a (hopefully cheaper) common IO. I might also move one of the slots from Conserve Power to Agile to get another LotG 7.5 into the build, but that depends on how essential CP is to endurance management (which, in turn, depends on your play style).
Trying to stay close to the powers you took, here's how I would do it.
Note that Focused Accuracy is purely an IO mule in this build, and you don't want to run it all the time. You can still turn it briefly when you need to kill a bubbled Rikti Drone or some other absurdly-evasive target, though.
This build gives up a little of your global damage bonus, but in return gives a lot you more passive regeneration, more hp, more recovery (admittedly with more end drain, but if you turn off FA, you still come out ahead, and end is generally not a problem for claws), and more recharge. I dropped Conserve Power to pick up FA, but I don't think you'll need Conserve Power in this build; it's fairly similar to something I ran for quite a while on my claw/sr, and I didn't have end issues. Be sure to pick up your accolades, though; I don't have them enabled on this build because you didn't on yours, but they make a significant difference.
I also added the Achilles' Heel proc; it's not super-cheap, but it's not really that expensive, either (the LotG's in this build will cost you far, far, more), and it's quite nice to have against all those pesky lethal-resistant enemies you're going to run into.
I *really* wanted to find a way to squeeze in Physical Perfection, because I think it's a great power for an /SR, but there was just no way to work it in.
I dropped the interrupt reduction in Aid Self; my experience is that with softcapped defense, the only time you get interrupted is when you have a DoT on you, and the interrupt reduction isn't going to help you there anyhow. You can put it back if you want.
The other advantage of this build is that if you want to ramp up the budget, it's easy to drop in a couple of purple sets without compromising your softcap.
This is *not* a levelling build, however; I'd advise respec'ing into something like this once you're 50 and have the inf for it.
Anyway, take a look at this, and even if you don't like the overall, hopefully you'll see some things in here worth further consideration.

Thanks for that i will respec into it at 50, im guessing with the IOs giving end reduction,stamina and uniques that conserve power wont really be needed so if in long fights i can keep my endurance up its fine.
Its a good build for a relatively cheap amount of money (apart from LoTgs will buy from merits.)
I took a miracle from aid self losing a whole 2.5% recovery :O (put in a numina for abit more regen from +hp) and put it in hasten so only has 7 seconds downtime which is great and if i feel a need to spend a ridiculous amount of money i can shave off another 4 seconds in exchange for my arms .
i noticed how much accolades help end recovery, so will definitely get atlas medallion when i hit 47 waiting for bids to come in and some time get around to killing all the praetorian AVs and get some more +endurance.
i did put 3 GoTAs in agile to get another 2% recovery for stealing it from aid self.

I recently did a Claws/SR respec and was somewhat dismayed to find my DDR was not even close to the softcap. I reversed the actual build I had vs the idealized build in my posts (some of the LotG pieces were 1 number off the build ie 31 vs 32 etc.) and found I was 5% shy pending a Hami O purchase. Even with th HO there is no way I am going to get to the cap. Posted a description of the problem on the Mids tech Support forum but with Stony leaving I doubt that anything will be done for a while. Just a heads up to put some cushion in you DDR so you don't get a nasty gotcha like I did.

Defense debuff resistance caps at 95%. A SR scrapper can get there by putting the equivalent of three SOs worth of enhancement into each of your defense powers.
It's pretty hard to come up with a soft-cap build that does not include Weave, fits in physical perfection, has enough recharge to run FU-Slash-Focus-Swipe (or whatever Bill's #1 chain is), and still fits in some reasonable purples. Driving me nuts. That's w/o cramming Gaussians into FU.
If you're going to take Body Mastery anyway for Physical Perfection, go ahead and take Focused Accuracy and cram Gaussian's into *that*. It's a much better place for Gaussian's than Follow Up (which should be slotted as an attack, given it's a major component of your attack chain).
That said, trying to softcap without Weave? Sounds like a royal pain to me.
Katie V the problem is not how to reach the DDR cap, the problem is Mids saying a build will reach the cap and finding the in game numbers substancially lower than Mids Predicted. The build I am reporting on was shown by Mids to have 95.5% DDR, and as you taught me in a prior thread anything over 95% is wasted, so that is all I built for. This freed slots for other powers.
The problem appears to be in the two powers with large bonuses and multiple resistances. Those being Focused Senses and Evasion.
I would appreciate it if some other scrapper builders would double check the DDR total presented by Mids for the exact same IOs as a live build vs the actual in game DDR % they are getting with that build to see if it just me or is endemic to the I17 and I18 Mids.

It looks like Mids is not applying ED when computing DDR numbers.
That would explain why Lucky, Agile and Dodge appear ok in my builds since I usualy 2 slot those. Thanks for the confirm and I will update my post on the Mids board. I wonder how long this has been happening?

This toon has 95% capped DDR, btw. And still gets hit a reasonable amount when among big groups of Romans or even regular mobs. Which is why I left Aid Self in. I'm toying with dropping it for Phys Perfection but not sure extra regen is enough.

It's pretty hard to come up with a soft-cap build that does not include Weave, fits in physical perfection, has enough recharge to run FU-Slash-Focus-Swipe (or whatever Bill's #1 chain is), and still fits in some reasonable purples. Driving me nuts. That's w/o cramming Gaussians into FU.

I suspect the OP wants to avoid Weave as that is about the only way to fit in the Medicine Pool he mentioned. I took the liberty of a quick redo of the build Iggy just posted, losing Super Jump and letting Combat Jumping mule the BotZ set. Thus adding Aid other and Aid Self.

Is it ok to have FU recharging in 3.94? When I add up the cast times of Slash - Focus - Swipe it seems that they are shorter than 3.94. Maybe I'm not accounting for Aracnatime?
Arcanatime says that the Slash -> Focus -> Swipe series will run in 3.95 seconds.

I notice you also wanted No Purples in your Aid Self. Pulling them out of the reworked Iggy build is a simple one for one with other sets. Still 95% recharge if you use Decimation in Focus with compromised damage, or 88.8% Rchg with Thunderstrikes as shown.

OK for the last few days i've been thinking about making a claw/sr as my next scrapper.
I couldn't find builds which included medicine and were softcapped with decent recharge so i thought i would just make one (with no super expensive purples) this is what i came out with, any advice would be appreciated about different sets or power choices, this isn't really a pylon/av solo'er or anything just a fun character to play but also as good as i can get with the medicine+softcap.
