For single owner SG - ability to invite my alts without help.
Lvl 21 - 50 for Prae
All costumes open to both sexes
Huge for female
More purple sets
Epics able to start in Prae
More wing options for flyers
Ability to start a TF/SF solo
Some PVP love for all my friends that PVP - they seem to think it needs work. I'll add a note here in support
*edit - NO MORE NERFS!!! * -
I know the entire point of a MM is to have pets, but are there any chars out there that didn't take ALL the pets? Took other powers from the primary or secondary instead?
If so, how was the road? I'm sort of wanting to try that with a Thugs/Pain but would like a little more info on the road less taken.
Cheers! -
Hello Dominator forum, this is my first expedition into here!
First dom ever. Chose plant/thorn. Just liked the combo and redraw shouldn't be an issue - which drives me a little crazy with other powersets - and they seem to compliment each other.
There doesn't seem to be any threads on this combo so not sure what the Dom community thinks of it.
Any advice (I read the i15 guide) that will make or break this character?
Thanks folks! -
Quote:100000% agree with this. Please implement asap.I'm curious as to why some form of SuperGroup self invite hasn't been incorporated into the game. Even if it only allows the founder of the SG to auto-invite their toon creations, I'm thinking this would be welcomed with open arms. Guild Wars offers this feature and everyone in that game seems to love it.

I vote for Martial Arts. Ninja Run at lvl 4 is just awesomesauce and with I19 bringing us inherents for swift and hurdle, you can do without a travel power!
2nd would be the Cyborg package. Love the costume pieces in that booster.
Cheers,
*edit - not that you can't do without a travel power right now with the same powers, but with i19, they'll be inherent so no powerslots wasted. * -
You know. Many months ago when they swapped the type of boards that we use, when I logged in, I was into someone elses account. When I logged out and back in, it corrected itself and I was once again Sionwyn.
Can't remember who's account it was but I immediately signed out.
I PMd someone, but don't remember who and I clean my boxes out regularly so no longer have the PM.
A PM is a good idea. -
I am having a blast with my fire/fire scrapper. I have a lvl 47 mish that I increase in difficulty (I'm only 49) to be on par with my lvl and set it for x6 or so.. depends on my mood... and go to town.
It's a council farm and I've had some fair drops so far. No purps yet, but hopefully I'll get one at some point, otherwise as I stated, the drops have been fair enough.
I also have the Warrior Clan mish as a farm and that is a huge map and tons of fun.
The second toon that I'm running (only at 42 though) is, fotm, em/sd scrapper. Great fun! LR is a great looking power and does some good damage. I have it up every second mob pretty much.
*edit - I also play my lower lvl toons. I farm when I want some infl or am undecided which char to play. I always suggest that if this is your first toon - play the game. It's loaded with incredible story arcs and you can meet some amazing people to team with. * -
I come up with them while bored at work. I just start writing down things and names come. Sometimes I also will use Lee's Useless Super-Hero name creator. It comes up with some interesting combinations for names. I think I've used 3 from that source.
My favourite name so far that I used is for my rad/rad def - Totally Rad Man. I've received a ton of compliments on that name.
I have a Cosic Gal that someone offered me 500mil to buy. I still have herI like the name and it just popped into my head while making the costume.
Solidifyd is an Earth/kin troller.
Kanadark - D3 - I'm Canadian and he's dark.
Flayme - fire/fire blaster - He's one of my original toons.
I think it comes down to trying different methods of searching out words, definitions, and using thesaurus and internet, phone books etc. And sometimes, you luck out and a name comes to you and it's awesome and turns out to be available. -
Quote:Lvl 18 NRG blaster hereI'm on Justice, and I can't remember the last time I've seen an energy blaster or corruptor.
I quite like it. I had to really learn how to position myself when on teams so that the KB was knocking into walls and not out of AOE etc. Fun toon!

Rolled a DM/EA scrapper last night and went to Paragon directly.
I like Prae, but I don't think every toon needs to go through that zone. -
The Dr. Vahz is good for early run. Pain in the butt, but I liked the story. The Crimson arc is great when you hit 45 I believe.
And by the way, your grammar and English is fab!
Enjoy the game and welcome! -
I know this is a dead horse question.. I'm just wanting a little clarification because I've never tried this before.
If I am lvl 47 and I run at +2 x5 (just picked 5 randomly), I should be in the running for purple drops?
Thanks for any replies.

Great!
Thanks for all the advice. I went with Tough and the char runs a little better with it, so I'll stick with it and then take Weave as well.
Thanks again.

I'm just wondering if Tough is really worth taking.
I have a lvl 41 EM/SD scrapper and am wondering if taking Tough is one of those powers that most people think are a must for a scrapper. Well, actually for any melee character.
Thanks for any replies.

Quote:This is so true. It's one of my favourite places to explore. WITH FLY! lol. Jumping and using the geysers is just annoying and I always miss! The Shadow Shard - not many reasons to go there other than that, if you haven't, you should.
There are repeatable missions, a TF, and a Jetpack vendor, but not much else besides a totally unique, freaky-looking zone made up of floating islands and other-worldly creatures.
On Peregrine Island, open your map and find the Firebase Zulu marker in Portal Court.
Follow that into the building and through the portal.
Talk to the guys on the other side for an introduction to the zone, especially traveling between the floating islands via Force Geysers.
Then go explore.
The Winter event is a must as well. Skiing down the slopes, racing against time is fun. And make sure you fly to the top of the floating truck for the badge. It helps if you ever build a base and want the porter to Pocket D. -
Quote:Nearly spat out the water at this. Bravo! I'm going to do this.I like to fly to the top of the zones and then turn off fly and drop. It scares the crap out of PuG teams, especially if there's a healer. It's also funny when I'm on ventrilo and shout "OH DEAR GOD NO!" when my health drops to 1.
At this point, on load screens, I try to find where the little circle of waiting fits best; in game, I still jump up and down - not a newb* either heh, or I will save NPC's being held up or chat on my server forum and stand around WW checking out the price of stuff.
Oh and recently, I made my first base, so have been doing things with it vs., playing. -
-
I am taking one week off to play.
I would take 2 but I think that's a bit insane. heh. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :P -
Cool! Did not know that Fluffy's heals counted too. Thanks!
I suppose I will have to work my a** off for this then because I really want the Auto-Doc.
Thanks for the quick reply! -
Your base is just - trying to find the correct word - I suppose fantabulous! Incredible amount of detail.
Bravo good sir, bravo!

Just wondering if anyone has some advice on the fastest way to get that.
I have a 50 dark/dark def to use for heals and am doing tf's etc with him. However, I just built my base so my previous 1780000 pts of heal don't count.
Any advice on how to expedite this is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
