  1. I just started a Fire/Fire dom and it is so much fun. Flashfire is a must to slot up as soon as possible.
  2. No.

The majority of the fun in this game is 1-50. End game content has to be balanced with 1-50 content which is why CoX is so awesome in that regard as it encourages to roll alts.
  3. Actually a /Dark stalker is very good now with the recent changes, and the reason why a resistance set can be decent with a stalker is because of Dark Regeneration. That does need some heavy investment of end/recharge/acc slotting, but when it works it is amazing. Throw in that the primary is also dark (another heal due to siphon life), and it is a very rugged stalker. Resistance sets that lack a heal (eg Electric armor) is why it is so rough on stalkers. I started with a DB/Elec Armor stalker, but I found I was relying too much on DB's control to mitigate too much incoming damage (Energize helps a bit, but still not enough). So I decided to start up a DB/EA stalker instead. I had a Claws/DA stalker, but I deleted him lol, probably have the nostalgia of remaking him again though.
  4. This recent builds looks really good. I have to say though it is a shame you don't have more slots to throw into hasten but with DB I think with one it is just fine as you can chain attacks easily. But still, looks very well thought out, although maybe a bit on the expensive side. I have found though each person has a different value when it comes to building with IO sets, so perspective varies.

My DB character is only level 32, but I have found that it is a harder hitting set than claws, and the endurance drain isn't so bad given I have it paired with EA. And the best part is you don't have to use the combos as the set works really well without out them. I like having heavy hitters one thousand cuts, sweeping strike, and vengeful strike, and two of them are also cones.

Biggest reason why I don't make claws characters anymore is that DB offers the control, and fluidity claws has accept with slightly more burst damage.

  6. I can confirm this is true.
  7. Are you using just regular IO's?
  8. I have to second the approval of the new warehouse skins, as they are awesome! It definitely felt like I was transported into a different part of town.

    Too much Alpha?

Incarnate system is well thought out based on the lessons of the past. Only concern moving forward is making content that can challenge players with multiple slots.

LOL It took me a while to catch this joke, but it is true! The new sonic resonance animations are subtle, but different since the sonic waves come out of the hands, and maybe someone will like it over the original (sonic waves originating from the head). Personally, I didn't really care for it.

I didn't see anything about GR Complete Collection being direct download. I was offered free shipping, or to pick up a physical copy at Best buy. I only had to pay $00.70 in taxes on top of the Cyber Monday Sales price.

As for the booster packs, they are automatically assigned to an account you wish to put on, and it shows the code at the bottom of the account management page when it was applied.

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you.
  15. The nerf to ignite was overkill given that, as it has been mentioned, it requires a hold/immobilize power to maximize its damage potential, and it is a DoT. Furthermore, ignite takes the place of AIM I believe, so it should be potent.

Right now in its nerfed state, I wouldn't bother taking it without an immobilize/hold power.

AR is really powerful when you can toss out Grenade Launcher and/or FT + Buckshot + FA. Most people assume that single target is the way to go, but once you reach level 40 you will quickly figure out that being able to AoE is far more valuable given targets don't drop as quickly using single target attacks.

Currently, every Stalker concept I have goes either Brute, or Scrapper, with the Stealth pool. Which I think is kinda sad.
/EA brutes come close to that play style, and which is why I am planning on starting a Claws/EA brute.

I guess it was my fault for thinking that they would actually "try" to keep their paying customers happy and not continue the trend of stringing them along with less and less. So when I saw i19 enter into open beta testing last week I had a false sense of "hey they might actually get it out there" so I resubbed to see a glimpse of the incarnate stuff on beta before it hit live. Since they are so good at announcing things in advance the fact that we finally get some kind of word on the 17th about them not releasing on the 16th or during the next two weeks is kind of.....irksome?

My request is just as legitimate as their excuse, sure go ahead and postpone the release, postpone my resub bill by 14 days while they are at it.
Based on the time period that you re-subbed, you will be able to play I19 before it is up again. No reason to be distraught unless they hold off release till December with that Cataclysmic catastrophe. :P

In fairness everyone has different tastes, so what you consider worthless maybe worthwhile to someone else.
  20. The only time I have seen weather effects used effectively in an MMO was in a jungle setting, with a tropical downpour, in a short burst, and it goes back to being sunny again. Something that happens so infrequently, but when it does occur you DO notice it.

And I have to applaud to the poster that mentioned they don't notice the changing of night and day in game. If weather was to be put in CoX ,and it happened frequently, I wouldn't notice it except when I am trying to create a back story, which ironically may limit what setting I can put them in due to weather (eg snowy).
